These are the true old school Vans. You had a pair before. They run true to size and are as comfortably uncomfortable as ever.

I was hoping for something comfortable and stylish. Everyone talks about how these Vans are classic and stylish and so I bought them. If "stylish" to you means, heavy, clunky, and with next-to-zero cushion or arch support, then yeah, these are great. But after wearing them three times, I threw them away. They are too narrow (I'm a size 9 regular width), they weigh a ton, and the thick rubber soles appear to have next-to-no padding in them. The few times I wore them, it was for only a short time and I couldn't wait to take them off. I've never had a less comfortable casual shoe. I'm 47.

Once again Zappos service was amazing. The shoes are great quality and are true Vans. Pricing is very good.

These are a fantastic pair of shoes. I swapped out the fabric laces for a set of leather ones and they look even better. Unsurprisingly, they were a little stiff at first and I got some blisters but that went away after the first few days. Also, I like to wear these without socks and the insole (although unnoticeable at first) is slightly rough and if you walk in them without socks all day your feet will get pretty scuffed up on the bottoms. I had to exchange these once (for a half-size smaller) because they ran a tiny bit large.

This product is literally the best product that I have ever purchased from Zappos. It fits great and goes well with a lot of clothing. Plus you cannot beat the price. I love It! Good job, Zappos!

Bought these for my son. We already knew his size so all he had to do was pick the color he wanted. Saved myself a trip to the mall and saved money on taxes, gas, and my time! Love Zappos!

They're great! The Vans Authentic Core Classics are a comfortable shoe with a unique urban style. Since I fall in the flat foot category this shoe accompanies my foot and provides proper support. The support of the shoe is similar to orthopedic shoes. It is a very nice shoe to have when in need of an all black pair of shoes as well. The black canvas that makes the body of the shoe is very durable and an easy clean. The style is also dynamic in the sense that it can pass as a tennis shoe or a casual shoe depending upon what is worn with. I have worn these with both street clothes and casual clothing. It isn't a shoe I wear everyday but could definitely be used as such given the support it provides. If a shoe can be as comfortable as orthopedic footwear and still maintain the urban style definitely has my approval no to mention the reasonable price. The shipping came in a reasonable time at no charge. I consider this a great investment in the arena of shoes.

Great customer support! The size was kinda big for me. I realized that little bit late and wore it once. I called to ask about exchange and the lady said since it is my first time she will send me new pair. New shoes were delivered at my house when I came back from school next day. Also, she upgraded my account to VIP.

As far as low profile, vulcanized shoes go, this is as good as it gets. Vans has a history of being the classic choice for people who want a well made, good looking shoe, they put incredible thought into seemingly simple designs. This process has earned them a near cult following with the Authentic being a staple style in winning people over. The more you wear these shoes, the more they mold to your foot and the more comfortable they become. All vulcanized shoes are going to run at least a half size larger than your average cupsole. Vans are highly recommended by me and countless others.

I bought these shoes for my daughter. She is a bit heavy for her height and stands all day. The shoes are comfortable for her.

After being a customer of Zappos for a while now, I finally decided to do a review. In terms of the shoe, they're great, it fits perfect. There is no break in time, and they're just as comfortable as the 3 other pairs I have. As always shipping was super fast, and I can't wait to order a few more pair. The only thing that was interesting is that the white pair of these that I bought had a sort of cushion around the ankle of the shoe and the red ones did not, this isn't an issue though, it's probably why these fit better sooner than the white ones.

A gift for my 11-year old granddaughter. Out of all the shoes she owns (way too many), these were the ones she chose to wear the first day of school. She loves them so that makes me happy.

I bought these for my wife and she loves them! She wears Vans all the time and they look super cute on her.

Fit and size were perfect. They fit like most vans do. Little to no arch support, but honestly, that's not why I get them anyway. The material is a really breathable canvas and they didn't take long to "break in" so there were no blisters and a very, very brief period of being somewhat stiff and uncomfortable. I will definitely be buying more in the future because they are exactly what I need for a daily shoe.

I ordered these for my son and they arrived the next day. He loves them. The only complaint we have is the red is a little more "neon" than expected. Not a big deal for us but others should know.

Great shoes! They are comfy right out of the box. No break in period required. Color is as shown online. Vans may want to re-think calling them "navy" but they do look like the picture on the website.
