Great shoe what you see is what you get. No padding so may feel a little bigger and uncomfortable.

Excellent fit and comfort and they look good, too. I normally wear my Converse Chuck's or Vans Slip-Ons, but I decided to change it up a bit and so I decided to get the Vans Authentic Core Classics. I normally wear size 10 but I went a 1/2 size down to a 9 1/2 because I want to rock these without socks and they fit just right. I think I figured out why this and Chuck's you have to order a 1/2 - 1 size down: these sneaks have no padding around the ankle or vamp, which is why it feels bigger if you get your normal size (unless you wear socks). Anyway, I got them in black white and my Vans go great with everything including shorts. Of course they seem to get funky really quick, which can be a plus or minus depending on your point of view, but that's what makes Vans, Vans. Zappos service is still great!

Bought these for my son; he loves them and they have held up well. Zappos is quick overnight service!

Love 'em. Perfect, classic canvas kicks. Wear 'em with shorts, jeans, whatever. Socks, no socks (get some odor eater spray!) - it works. Must have a pair in blue and black.

Love these. The color is very true to the website picture. They almost have a vintage feel, due to the shade of blue.

I really like these little shoes; they're wonderfully comfortable, and I like the look very much as well. Of course, being sneakers, they don't have much arch support, and I have unusually high arches, and have been troubled by plantar fasciitis in the past; but a set of over-the-counter drugstore inserts (cheap!) eliminates that problem, and makes my Zappos even more comfortable. They're the niftiest sneakers I've worn since I was a kid--60 years ago!

Vans still rule! I'm 38 years old and I used to wear Vans throughout junior high and high school. I love the classic simplicity of the style and they are so light I hardly notice I'm wearing them at all. The only complaint I have is that the quality of construction is not up to the same standards as perhaps a decade or two ago. My Vans are starting to peel apart where the white rubber surround meets the canvas, right where my toes flex. I noticed that Vans are made in China now. Other than that the shoes are the same and still worth the money. I highly recommend these shoes.

"Long time no see old friend" I was a teenager in San Fernando valley California in the 70's. The only shoe that kids wore were Vans. Before school started in the fall kids would have custom Vans made to match their clothes or would buy the latest color out. All types of kids wore Vans, from skete boarders, bike riders, surfers, low riders, valley girls, punk rockers to nerds. I left Caifornia, moved to the midwest and rarely saw Vans again. 25 years later the hottest shoes for my kids to get for school are Vans. I think I'll get the kids some Vans, and I'll get me a pair of Old Skools!

Great Shoes. This is the best shoe ever! It has the classic Vans look and the great waffle skate design on the bottom. The best skate shoe I've ever had! The only problem is, because it's canvas, it tears whenever you skate! (You have to bend your foot, so the canvas rubs up agains the griptape.) But if you don't skate, no problem! GET THESE NOW!

VANS-best mens' canvas casual shoe I have been wearing these shoes since 1978 when I used to live only one block from the very first Vans retail store in Anaheim, CA. I have owned several styles, and I wish some would come back along with more colors. SUPER SHOES!

I love these shoes! However only one negative I was expecting a dark navy but the shoes turned out to be more of a blue color not a navy color.

I love these! But please take note that some are made in China and the sizes are a little off. The ones made in China seem to fit more like a man's shoe. They are roomier inside and run a little bigger.

Good Shoe - It is a great shoe with great looks. The only issue I have is that they sometimes give me blisters and my heels someone hurt. I just like them very much and would recommend to everyone

The looks make up for the comfort - This was my 2nd pair of vans, and I have to say, I Love them. They are stylish and they go good with everything. Although they are not as comfortable as I'd like them to be, the looks make up for it

They're good but... The shoes are awesome, but the laces are just too long. Maybe if they were a foot shorter.

Old School Van's - Finding the basic no frills Van's Authentic is not always easy, but thanks to online shopping and Zappos there it is! Not being a stranger to this shoe I knew what to expect. As long as there were no defects or problems with the order my satisfaction was likely. My only complaint is that this shoe, once made by Americans here in the U.S. A., is now made in China. Because of the Darwinian practices of big American business our nation is in jeopardy.

Still New To Me- I really havent wore these that much because I have been wearing the Duff's I bought from you instead, But also these are very new to me. I spent all of my life wearing high tops, But I plan to wear them more in the future.

I had to exchange for a half size up in these. It’s the strangest thing because I have a pair that I’ve had for 10 years that are a size 9 1/2. I decided to get a 10 this time because all my other vans are 10s and I like the way they fit better. This pair came and they were so tight I could hardly get my foot in. I’m exchanging for a 10 1/2. I really hope they work out because I love this style. It’s just strange that my 9 1/2 still fit but I have to return my 10 for a 10 1/2. Perhaps their sizing change?

It's been years since I wore Vans. I was looking for a pair of kick around sneakers I could wear on weekends (I save my fancy expensive ones for work!), but these are not it. The soles are super hard rubber like Converses, but hopefully they'll soften up the more I wear them. Also, one shoe is a bit narrower than the other. I probably won't ever buy a pair of Vans again.
