Too small! I have several pairs of Zappos shoes size 11 wide that fit perfectly. This pair labeled the same was so small I could not even get my foot in them.

Cool tall comfort w/style and support - Good looking and chic but needs better laces instead of the cheap ones that catch on the eyehooks and get torn. Also needs higher heel…I added another 1/2" to the heel and you should see how the style shines thru!!! Very cool look...

At first I ordered the medium width boot, but when I tried it on I found that it was too narrow, so I exchanged it for the next wider size. The boot feels good and has a great shine to it. I would purchase this product again. Mac, Trenton, N.J.

A Half Century of Searching - I have been looking for a light weight, high top, extremely comfortable dress shoe and now I have it! Black, brown, ok - but where's the cordovan?

Distinguished and well-made - Exquisite boot fits like a glove and is elegant & distinguished.

I have two pair of these high top shoes (black and brown). I bought them as dress shoes but now I find that I am wearing them more and more for both dress and casual wear, Why, because they are the most comfortable shoes in my closet. I like the look of them with a suit but they still look fine with khakis. They are wearing well and I'm sure I'll be back for another pair soon. I guess they could be called old fashioned but that's fine with me. Anyone who likes high-tops should find these to be an excellent pair of boots.

Great Madison - The boots fit well, look good, and get positive comments on their looks. They are comfortable to walk in, just right after taking them out of the box. They didn't need to be broken in. Very comfortable shoe!

No better shoe made - In California and Las Vegas I wore these, they catch the girl's eyes when they shine.

Like gloves for your feet - I've been wearing this shoe for twenty years. Just bought my third pair. This is the shoe I wear when I mean business.

Good dancing shoes- I love the look of this boot/shoe. Gorgeous. I went contra dancing in it, and the nice slick soles were great for dancing and spinning, while the rubber heel kept me from falling over! It would have been better in a half size smaller, but it didn't come in that size.

Church goer's - This is a shoe designed for mature men. It's also a preachers' man shoe, it looks great for suits (especially your church ones). For all those who dance (shout) in church you can't beat this feel!

I wish it was available in navy. These are the sharpest boots I have ever owned.

Edwardian elegance - One of my best footwear purchases ever. Extrememly comfortable (and I have very very bad feet) and classic look. They seem to be wearing well so far, but I cannot yet spek to durability. But I receive raves on them all of the time.

The Groom's Boots - My son is getting married in two weeks. His bride-to-be has chosen a "Titanic-era" dress. He will be married in one of the long gentlemen's coats, what my grandfather probably called a frock coat. These are the boots we purchased for him to get married in.

Not only am I extremely satisfied with my boots the boots are exactly what I wanted--they are true to size but I did change the strings from flat to round. They look great

As a professional costume designer, I appreciate being able to purchase these period shoes for theatrical productions. The shoes are high quality and come in several colors. Please keep offering these shoes, along with spectators, two-tone bucks, etc.

My review of Stacy Adams Madisons. For those of us who like a boot type shoe, I would highly recommend the Stacy Adams madison boots. This is a very comfortable, well made dress boot for that person who like for their foot to look good and feel good at the same time. This no doubt is the boot for you.

Love this boot! I have problems with my feet, but wanted a dressy boot to wear to my son's wedding. With some trepidation, I bought this boot online because I liked the look of it. The only problem now is that I want a pair in every color! These boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on, I'd recommend them to anyone who wants a great look and comfort too.

The Madison Boot by Stacy Adams's - I have always liked the looks of this type of shoe since I was a little kid, I would see the older ones wearing them and they looked so dignified. I've had these for a month now and they have worked out great. The only complaint was from my wife concerning the amount of creaking (noise) they made while I was breaking them in. Leather does that, and there is alot of it in these boots. They are a very comfortable boot to wear even though they do not have all of the fancy padding that some of my other shoes have. As far as being able to wear them out in any type of weather this has not been a problem. We are now into the rainy season here, and my feet have stayed dry. I've been waiting to finish breaking them in before I apply any water repellant and so far so good. I would have no qualms in recommending this shoe to anyone.

Best dress boot around - I have seen and talked to others who have worn this boot for years. Until recently I've always worn the Madison shoes which are superior. Then I ordered some boots and have been more than satisfied. I am ready to buy more and recently convinced my friend to buy a couple of pairs. They are simply the best at any cost. The comfort? OUT OF THIS WORLD. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!

Stacy Adams Madison Boot - First pair of Stacy Adams I have bought but it won't be the last. I was very pleased with the boots from the day I opened the box. I've worn high top shoes for many years but have found it hard to replace my old favorites, new ones are hard to find in the malls. Zappos shipped in exactly the time they said they would. The Madison is a well made boot, extremely comfortable and great looking. Thanks.

I LOVE these boots and I'm a white guy. I've had these before a number of times, but the shoe store in Chicago where I bought them closed down a few years ago and I could not find them any more (also had a Gray pair). I don't mind paying $100 because they are GREAT!
