I have an ARRIBA stacy adams shoes and don't have compare the quality with the bad quality of this MADISON shoes,actualy I'm returning this purchase and I'm very disappointed because I need pay from my pocket the return, i'ts my first time buying shoes in stacyadams.com and my last.

Great looking boot but incredibly badly made. Sent back first pair because two of the lace-hooks came off the first time I tried them on. [...] the second pair has split open on the sole at the toe on the left boot and the lacing on the sole has become shredded and unraveled. Three lacehooks have also come off of the boots, as well four of the metal rings around the lace-holes. This was only after wearing about 10 times, with moderate city use. I expected much better craftsmanship for the price. The boots are also INCREDIBLY squeaky, so loud that others around you will comment. This will dissipate after they break in, but it is still noticeable after 10 wears.

Both orders were defective. Had to request replacements.

Me, oh, my... what a disappointment these shoes turned out to be! And I love Stacey Adams' shoes, too. Bought these in "taupe", which should have been my very first clue. The color is "butt-ugly" to be polite. And the finish is glossy. And then there's all that lacing. Well, let's just say, no go, joe!

Bad boots - I really loved the boots and they look great. however, the look stopped right there! The first pairs sole wore away after an hour of wearing and the second pair did notr do much better. Zappos was great and realized that there was perhaps a defect in the boots.
