These boots are sprit Halloween costume quality. I will be sending them back.

terrible quality, one of the eyelets on the right boot was glued in place and box was taped together. Stacy Adams really needs a made in America line so we can get some better quality products. Also not sure why Zappos would even send out a pair of boots like that, when they were preparing the order did they not notice that the shoe box was all taped up?

Leather too thin and cheap looking. They felt like they wouldn't last long. They run about 1/2 size too big. I don't recommend.

These may as well have been made of plastic rather than leather. They are covered with a plastic-like coating that creaks with every movement. I have no idea how anyone could ever wear these unless he doesn't need to walk in them. I should have heeded the bad reviews, but the Stacy Adams brand had so many complements that I expected them to be good quality. I was wrong.

Very poor quality leather. It had a papery like almost plastic feel to it. I would expect more from boot at this price. The style is great and it looks amazing in the photo but don't be fooled.

The boot is not good. I had a pair I got 4 years ago and they were great. I ordered a new pair recently and the heel began to come off after just a few wears. Then Zappos replaced them with another pair which did the same thing. Then replaced with a third pair which did the same thing. Zappos was very helpful. I like the style, but the boots are not well made in the heel.

I searched high and low to find early 20th century style dress boots. I loved the look of these boots as much as the Allen Edmonds and Johnston and Murphy's but at a lower price. I decided to purchase these and it was perhaps the most regrettable decision that I have ever made on shoes. These were flat out the most uncomfortable dress shoes that I have ever owned. I kept them, thinking that after a few wears they would break in and be comfortable. But I wrong! They went from bad to worse. The leather is thin, and it creased in about one month and the footbed literally has zero padding. The thing that made them the worst were that you can feel the ground like you are walking with no shoes. If you step on a single pebble it feels like you did it barefoot. Furthermore, they make a loud sound when you walk. If there was a minus rating, I would give it. I should have went with the Allen Edmonds.
