Love these shoes. Fast break-in, as good with a suit as they are w/jeans. Wore them new on a week-long business trip spanning Tokyo by train, car and foot, with no complaints on comfort. The boot is a nice way to make a simple cap-toe look fashionably different.

My Favourite Shoes!! I love retro styles, so when I found these boots, I was pretty excited. By from the first day I got them I LOVED how they felt. They quickly became my favourite shoes. I'm now considering getting a second pair in black. One important thing...find a good shoe repair place. They hold up great, but you will want to take extra good care of them, as you miss them when they are away from you too long. My guy cleans them, repairs them, moisturizes them, and really keeps them up to snuff. Everyone who sees them thinks they look super sharp and cool and they all ask where I got them. COMPLETE WINNERS!

Oh, I say! A more comfortable boot I have not known, in timeless style and grace. I wear boots 90% of the time, broken only by chuck taylors, and I won't lie -- I've been quite impressed with how these fit and wear.

Blown away - Friggin. Awesome. This is it ladies and gentlemen... the best boot known to mankind. Got them about 2 days after I ordered, tried them on and immediately fell in love. Extremely comfortable, well built, light-weight, and classy looking. I don't know what it is... but the moment I put them on I felt like a million dollars. This is it: the ultimate shoe. Have had nothing but compliments since I got them... the ladies love 'em.

Great boot and fits the bill nicely - I purchased these boots as part of a fancy dress party I have to attend when I am in London later this month. They arrived quickly and fit very well. A bit tight but with the right sock they fit very snug without being too confining. Love the look and style of these.

Splendid - I've always wanted a pair of Stacy Adams, but only barely now finally got to try a pair. These boots - a surprising thing to see from Stacy Adams (to me at least) are remarkably comfortable, and look even better in person than in the pictures. Also, the sizing is precise and fits me perfectly. I am delighted with these and with the service from Zappos!

As described the leather was soft and comfortable, sizing was exact. Kudos to Stacy Adams as well! Would expect no less from a company in the business since 1875!!

Beautiful "Low Riders" The boots are beautiful. The fit is good and they breathe and flex well. However the heel is WAY too low, so I had an extension pout on....now they're perfect!

A comfortable shoe - not totally black - The only thing I would point out to buyer is that on the black shoe, the top side of the leather sole that you see surrounding the toe when you look down on the shoe is not black. (Check out the top view). It is natural leather color and the stitching is white. So if you want a solid black shoe, this might not be a good choice. This feature is not as noticeable on the brown version. Still, this is a very comfortable and nice looking shoe.

I wanted something that looked a little vintage, I was a little unsure if I would like the fit of the shoe because the leather looked hard and would be stiff. I was surprised as to how flexible the sole and how comfortable the shoe fit is. Now I love them and wear them all the time.

Great boots. Size ran bigger than other brands. The coolest thing was the customer service. I wish I could remember her name because I want to tell her boss that she made my weekend! They will take care of you no matter what!!!!!!!

"My Old Favorite" - Zappos’ service was phenomenal. I ordered one size too big and needed them immediately; I had another pair the next day. I had a pair of these in the late 60s and loved them... it's a good walking shoe. Very good support for being a high shoe.

Nice boot - Really nice boot. Like the lace up so that you can adjust the fit around your ankle. I did find they run about 1/2 size larger. I usually where a 10, but had to return it for a 9 1/2. Like them so much I bought a second pair.

My first, but I hope not the last - This is the first pair of shoes I bought from Zappos, and it certainly will not be the last one. The boot has a great classy look, feels comfortable, sturdy and fits like a glove. It feels safe. What I like most about it is that being a lace-up it's much easier to put on and take off than other types of boots.

Extremely classic shoe; very comfortable and dressy.

Classically Styled boot - I usually wear between a 12E and 13D, depending on the brand. For some odd reason these just felt outrageously long, however, the return service is quite pleasant. I bought these boots because I enjoy the styling of oxfords, but I wanted something that seemed a little more casual. They also seem fairly sturdy, and yet they are light weight (weigh less than my cap toe oxfords). Only problems are that they squeak horrendously around the eyelets, but that will hopefully subside after they're broken in. Also the shoelaces are quite short, could barely tie a knot with them on.

Smooth operator - I have a condition that affects my lower calf muscles and I can't wear many dress shoes. Finding a shoe that is light enough, yet has the support of a high boot is extremely hard to find. I cannot say enough good things about this shoe. From the minute I dressed, it felt like an extension of my foot. It was light, but it didn't feel cheaply made. The boot has good support with a stylish design.

A title for your review - Very cool stuff but seriously think about ordering them one size wider than you normally would. I have very standard feet and never had to worry about width of my shoes but these ones are very on the minimum limit of it. Otherwise they're nice...

Great boots for my dad - My father has always worn Madison boots by Stacy Adams. Because he has a slight handicap in one leg, these boots fit him well. I panicked when I could not find a pair, until I looked at Zappos and found them. They are very comfortable for Daddy, and he wears them everywhere, even to church. I love the shine these boots give; reminds me of the old days when men wore spotless shining boots- and my Dad can really shine his Madison boots. The price was also quite reasonable, and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
