wasn't this shoe at one time called "Old Folks Comfort"?

I bought these for my husband and he absolutely loves them. The old school style in a new and trendy look is just awesome?

Been buying Stacey Adams for 40 years plus, and never disappointed. Any color and style I want they make. The grey madison boot I just got are sharp.

This is my favorite show, I buy a new pair every year or so. It is classic so it never goes out of style, and can be worn both as a daily shoe or for nights on the town.

WARNING: If you are trying to stay below the radar do not wear these boots, I have actually had strangers lift up my trouser leg to take a closer look, the compliments are non-stop. I have the brown and the black, so look out gray here I come. I would reluctantly recommend them to a friend, because I want all the attention for myself.

I bough my firsi pair in 1971, they are hard to find now, they are not durable than they were in the old days.

I've been buying Stacy Adams shoes for over 20 years. Their quality standard speak for itself. These boots are jaw droppers. I got the black & white, and people asked me where I got them from.

My new Stacy's are a reminder of why my father wore them, they are high in quality and style.

Great for Swing Dancing, and 'period events' like Victorian Balls, Dickens Faire. I've been buying this style for about 10 years, and only replace them when I've worn through the soles a few times (I wear them a lot).

Absolutely love these shoes! Just got them in the mail last night, and I am wearing them at work, getting lots of comments on how snazzy they are. Wasn't too sure about wearing an ankle length boot, but they are very comfortable. I find the sole a little slippery, so I don't think they will be very good during the Canadian winters, but once I reach my destination, you can bet I will be putting these right back on.

I purchased these shoes for my boyfriend for his birthday. They are as beautiful as they appear on line; in fact, more so. My boyfriend loves the shoes although he has yet to wear them. When we do go out, he'll be ready.

I been a loyal wearer of the Madison Boot for over 45 years. The ankle support, the quality and the timless styling of the boot is outstanding. Somethings just don't require any more comments, the boot speaks for itself.

I bought this shoes to serve as a 1904 US Army Style marching shoe, but it is totally comfortable and now wear it for everywhere and everyday. A wonderful shoe! It is the first shoe I have worn with an insert on the right foot that completely cures my plantar fascitis! No more pain? I think its the extra support of the high tops...remember in the old days people walked everywhere! I am hooked on this shoe, I also know other living history buffs that love it.

Stacey Adams really outdid themselves this time around! My wife bought this for me and i was flabbergasted by its exquisite design. I wanted to show it off at work the next day, so i did :-). Most of my comrades at work complimented my shoes one after the other...even women at the office started flirting with me saying things like "You look good in those shoes" and i simply replied thank you. In retrospect i have one regret..telling people about them! I own the Black and White pair but planned on getting the Brown, now i can not for to many people have heard about it and purchased it. A synopsis of this text is it is a great shoe and Stacey should provide a larger quantity of the Brown because There is a REALLY,REALLY,REALLY high demand for them. Thank you for your time and for the shoe, I wish great fortune be bestowed onto you.

Ok..I never write reviews on any website but Zappos just changed everything. The service is unmatched. Every time I order a boot they arrive early. I ordered this great looking, outstanding boot friday after work at 5:30. Im leaving for a trip thursday and was worried that the boot would not arrive. MONDAY MORNING at 9:00 the box is sitting on my desk at work. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME ZAPPOS. NO one compares to Zappos with their customer service?shipping...NOBODY!!! Now I have these great boot for my trip Thank you Zappos...Also the boot runs big so order 1 size smaller than normal. I did this and the boot fits perfectly. I love the glossy look too!!!
