Light, inexpensive, snazzy. These are fantastic dress shoes. The leather is quite thin, so they can look kind of cheap up close, but at the same time, there is virtually no break-in period. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I've been wearing a pair of Florsheim wingtips for a while now, and while they look like they are made to a higher standard than these shoes, they have become excruciating to wear. I'll happily put these on any day. Plus, they're great for dancing because they're so lightweight. **Be sure to size a 1/2 size down. I'm a 10 and I followed the advice of other reviews and got a 9.5. It was the right move. ***If you have even slightly wider feet, get the wider width. The normal size is pretty narrow.

Greatest gift ever. I have been looking for a purple Stacy Adams shoe for a long time now for my father. I finally found them on Zappos and ordered them for my dad for his 74th birthday. He loved them as well as everyone who has seen him in them. He talks about his shoes to all his friends and family. Everyone is asking now, where did you buy those shoes and I refer them to Zappos.com.

I LOVE these shoes! I love Zappos cuz I get to shop for colorful shoes and that would take forever if I was looking in stores. I also love that I can return any shoes that do not fit or look good once I can see them in person. Recently, I bought a pair of these Stacy Adams Madison shoes (in with a larger order that mostly go sent back). I bought the celery (green) ones, and they are great shoes. They are very comfortable and the soft colors are gorgeous. I liked them so much I bought the yellow ones, although they are more butterscotch than yellow. I also placed an alert to email me when the solid blue ones came in, and those, too, are now being shipped as I write this. The shoes are great. Men should break out of the all black or brown idea about shoes, and the soft colors and wonderful fit of these shoes would be a good place to start. Specify 1/2 size larger than you normally wear when ordering these shoes.

My Stacy Adams (Madison’s)- I was very pleased to know that you can still get the same quality Stacy shoe that has been around for many years. Comfort and Style - I have worn Stacy Adams Madison for over fifty years. This is the only shoe I wear and I have over thirty pairs. I purchase 4 to 12 pairs at a time; the shoe is so comfortable and has style. When going to an affair I always get compliments from females as well as males. The Stacy Adams shoe is great for men with bigger feet. The rounded toe prevents stepping on your partner's feet. I have been dancing salsa in them for awhile and I recommend them.

Very Professional, Great Price - This shoe is a classic. More impressive in real life than on the web. Comfortable, stylish, economical. I am very pleased with my purchase. I do have a few comments on the sizing. I normally wear an 11.5 E which is exactly what I ordered. They run a little long so I could have gotten away with an 11 and they probably would have fit better. These shoes are certainly more spacious inside than most formal dress shoes I have tried on. I love 'em.

Stacy Adams Madison Black 8.5 EE - This shoe is a classic jazz dance type of look and feel. It is well crafted and people love them. I got the 8.5 EE (wide) and they are a full size bigger than marked. They also are a bit longer than most. I typically wear a 9-9.5. Shoe trees are a must as the leather creases easily. This is my second pair and I love them!

Stacy Adams Madison - Really a great looking and comfortable shoe; they fit great. They have to be them most comfortable shoe that I have ever purchased. A real pleasure to wear and did I mention they are great looking.

Nice Shoe - This is a very comfortable and good looking shoe. I wish, however, that I had ordered about 1/2 size smaller - it runs up and down on the heel a bit. This shoe is a little longer than the average. Something to keep in mind for those about to order.

Classic Look -- Classic Dependability - I work hard for my money, and like most other older Americans, I expect comparable value. Three pairs of Madison’s later, Stacy Adams has yet to let me down. I purchased my first pair over five years ago, and have worn them in work situations that have destroyed lesser quality shoes. I've had them re-soled three times and re-heeled twice during that time. I recently purchased a third pair of Madison’s from Zappos, and believe me -- this is a lot of shoe for a very, very reasonable price. Thanks Stacy Adams and thanks Zappos.

My Stacy Adams Experience! I order regularly from Zappos and consider my self a "regular customer". I ordered 2 pairs of the same Stacy Adams Madison shoe in two different sizes to ensure a proper fit. Of course, one pair fit the best. Stacy Adam's Madison Old School Style - I've been wearing Stacey Adams since I was 16 years old. Now I'm 52 so that's a long time. There was a time a few years back where these were hard to find. Now I'm glad I found Zappos.com. Shopping for this style of shoe is at my finger tips. Now I'll start my collection again in the many colors available. They fit great and are so comfortable.
