The shoes: I got these originally for a 1920s party and they worked out perfectly. I thought the lizard-skin white contrast might be a little too much, but I was wrong. I wore these in Vegas - why wouldn't you wear these in Vegas? - and had a lot of compliments from women. As others have stated, the shoes are a little narrow and require a little breaking in period, but that can be expected for any leather shoe. Like others, I felt the shoes ran a half to a full size large. Take that into consideration when purchasing. The service: this was my first purchase on Zappos, and boy was I impressed. I needed these quickly and they delivered - I think I got these in the mail a day or two later. I can't say enough about their customer service - as a guy who hates the mall and shopping, I think I'm converted to making all my future shoe purchases online through Zappos. If you like the convenience, fast delivery, and great return policy (365 day returns, free shipping both ways) - don't hesitate to use them for your shopping needs.

I wore this shoe twice, poorly constructed and fake leather. The outside of the shoe looked liked crumpled paper after just 2 wears. You get what you pay for, spend more money on another shoe for a quality product.

My husband loves these shoes. His father wore them back in the day and he wore them also. I was so happy to find them. His normal size is 7 1\/2 so reading some of the reviews I saw that they run a little large so I ordered a 7. I had to return those and ordered a 6 1\/2 which fit perfect!
