Gorgeous! I got these in antique gold, and the color is AMAZING -- the gold is striking and fun without being obnoxious. The boots are very comfortable as long as I wear thick enough socks that cover my ankles (otherwise the boots tend to rub against my toes and outside ankles a bit). Thick-ish socks also help the heel from slipping. The sole is great and they've been good for walking around on snow and ice -- they have better traction than the Frye Campus boots.

Great boots - I love these boots. I normally wear either a 7 or a 7.5, depending on the shoe. I got size 7, and they are perfect. Your heel will slip a little in the boot, but that is so you can get them on and off. (I called Frye and they said that's how they're supposed to fit.)

Favorites! These are the most comfortable boots I own. I have them in Tan also, but the Black are more comfortable. The black leather is more supple. I thought that they were a little too big at first (I ordered in my usual size), but now that I have worn them for awhile, they seem perfect! They go with everything! Zappos service terrific as usual.

Love em'! These are the boots I've been wanting since I was 12 years old. They go with everything, boot cuts, skinny's, mini's and swingy skirts. Comfy and durable.

Frye's harness boots - I absolutely LOVE these boots!!!! Yes, in the beginning they are HARD to get on AND OFF, but really who cares! I'm getting the hang of it. They are Fabulous and look great with whatever. I researched these before ordering to make sure these are what I wanted and I'm so glad I did. Zappos is the best for online ordering. Geez and free s/h!!! Can't beat that anywhere. I ordered the tan and they are getting that used look. The best thing about these boots is that they'll never be out of style like most boots so they are worth the price. I highly recommend these to anybody that loves boots. You'll never want to wear any others!!! I ordered size 8 and they fit fine.

I was really surprised... I NEVER thought these boots would be comfortable for my feet. My toes do not like anything but Birkenstocks and flip flops. These boots are actually comfortable and I feel really cool (I know that sounds silly) wearing them. I recently wore them for a whole weekend trip (walked over 7 miles in them) and was only a little sore. Highly recommended! I will say that I normally wear a size 9 and the 8.5 that I ordered fit perfect.

Fabulous! I have four pairs of Frye boots and the Harness boot is my favorite. ALL boots run a half size larger than shoes unless they are a cheap boot, which Frye certainly isn't. I also love the comfortable shaft, being not too wide to accommodate tree trunk legs nor too narrow for people with average legs. Just right. A medium width, I would say. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone who wants style, comfort and durability. You get what you pay for. You can never go wrong with Zappos either! Fastest, easiest way to shop! Frye rocks!! Oh my god....these boots are so totally awesome. The leather is so rich. They look so good when I got them, that I ordered a pair for my husband. They are worth every penny and them some.

Best Boots Ever!! I have been wearing these boots non-stop since I received them. They do run 1/2 size small so I had to return the 81/2 and re-order the 8. I would highly recommend these boots to everybody!!

Love this boot!! I have never owned a pair of western style boots but had seen them on a couple of girls at work who both raved about how comfortable they are so I decided to go for it. I thought the sizing was dead on. They are perfect if you are a woman with muscular calves like me. They hit just below the fullest point of my leg. Price was in line with department stores. Zappos is the best!

I love these boots! They're made beautifully, the leather is like buttah, and they felt good from the first wearing. I wear a size 7, and I have a high arch and a wide toe span, and the 7 is the one that fits me. The sides of the boot next to my toes feels a little stiff, but I can tell it will relax. The other thing I really like is that even though they're not sissy, pretend harness boots, they're not big and clunky. They're streamlined, both in the toe area and on the calf, so they look both rugged and sexy. Also, Zappos was really nice about matching a lower price I found online! These boots rock! This is the exact boot look I wanted for a woman's biker boot so I can ride with my husband. Perfect biker boot, not too butch-definitely not prissy. Excellent comfort, good arch support. Size ran big at the heel if you're not wearing a heavy winter sock. I had to exchange for 1/2 size smaller than my regular size.

Hot hot HOT - I LOVE these boots. They go with everything. I got the antique gold ones (I have TOO many black boots) and they're gorgeous. The heel and sole are rubber lined and I find this gives me confidence on wet surfaces. I’ve been wanting these boots for years and now I have them. We’re going to be very happy (and hot) together for a looooong time!

AWESOME BOOT - This is my second pair of Frye boots I bought from Zappos. I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear. They are very comfortable and it didn't take long to wear them in. I also have the campus boot from Frye. I originally had ordered an 8 1/2 in the campus and sent them back for a half size smaller. Zappos has a great return and exchange policy. I always recommend your website to people.

Frye Cool Boots - I love these boots they are not the most comfortable but they are awesome!

Great boot - Love the look and quality-only complaint is they are a little hard to get on the first few times. Once you pull on then they are comfortable but the leather is very thick and hard and you need to pull them on.

Love Them - Very comfy, good looking, well made boots. The color is not dark brown, more medium aged, was surprised, but it's a very worn in look. Also I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, I got the 9 but should have ordered smaller, would recommend you order your smaller size if you can do either. I just got them but they go great with jeans, dresses, skirts. Plan to get another pair in different color.

Love these boots! I have wanted these boots for a few years now, and finally got them as a Christmas present. I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE I ordered. I needed a 1/2 size smaller than what I usually wear. The return was amazingly simple...I had the replacement boots in my possession before I even sent the original order back...and was never charged for the replacement pair! I will order ALL my shoes from Zappos from now on!

Boots!!!!!!!! I really, really love these boots! I was worried that they wouldn't fit my "athletic" calves but they fit wonderfully and are very comfortable. I had to fight to get them on the first time but since then go on no problem. I highly recommend these boots!

Classic, rugged comfortable - Just like Dad's boots from 30 years ago! These are well-crafted, solidly-built and very comfy.

Believe - When others say they are a 1/2 size too large, believe them. I wear a 7 and when I got the size 7 in these boots they were too long. I am hoping that a 6.5 will fit better. I don't think I own any 6.5 size shoes but this boot was just too long. I have medium width feet and shoes that are true to size require a 7 for me. I also suspect that if I had kept the size 7 they would have stretched out and would have felt even bigger. I tried the size 7 on with thick socks and felt that they were okay but after a break-in interval they would have been huge. If you have a wide foot then your normal size would probably work after they were broken-in.

Awesome Boots! Love these boots - and I'm super picky. I have a damaged nerve on the bottom of my foot, so I have to be really careful about what shoes I wear. I was worried these boots would hurt my foot or just wouldn't be comfortable for me, but NOT SO! I love them. They look awesome and super tough. Love the color too! They are hard to get on though, but standing up to do it helps. They felt true to size for me.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS - They are IMPOSSIBLE (well, almost) to get on the first time you try, but don't give up! Just wear them for a few hours and see how much they relax. I have the gold boots and I would't ususally go for a gold boot, but I love this one. It's not prissy, it's just cool.

Love these boots, give them a try - Unlike most other reviewers, I had no trouble getting these boots on the first time I tried. They have fit comfortably since the first day. I'm in between sizes and often have to try different sizes to get the right fit, so I went with the larger size. I have some Justin boots and although I love how they look, I don't wear them nearly as much as these boots. With those boots, I can't forget I have boots on. With the Fryes, I don't even think about what I'm wearing. Love them.

Better than promised - I read all the reviews before purchasing as a gift for myself. I am thrilled w/them! Yes, they are difficult to get on the first few times, but they easily broke in. They look great (nice weathered finish) and are too cool! I am very happy w/Zappos. And I'm usually an 8 sometimes 8.5 so I got the 8. Fit great, but are narrow in case you have wide feet.
