The best boot ever - The breaking in part is the only remotely bad thing I can say about these boots and that isn't a huge deal either. I run a pretty standard 9 and ordered a nine. Best choice.

These boots are awesome - I bought these boots in brown. They were a bit tight to fit on at first, but they quickly molded to my feet and they feel perfect. They are hard competition for my other shoes as I wear them nearly everyday. I absolutely love them! I'm a 7.5 but take a 7 in Frye's except for the daisy boots which run smaller than most Frye's.

These boots rock - These are the best stylish boots I've ever owned. I ordered my normal size 7 1/2, they were the perfect length but around the foot area they were a little it tight. I could still wiggle my toes but it just did not seem right. So I went down to a store that sold these shoes and tried on the size 8. They were way to big. After wearing the 7 1/2 for a day they stretched out and now are the perfect fit. Great quality, I've got a lot of compliments on them already.

Comfort found! I cannot say more about how amazing these boots look and feel. I have a horrible time finding shoes that I can walk in, that don't make me look like I'm an old lady. Not only are these boots comfortable but they look great with many outfits. I highly recommend this boot to anyone who does a lot of walking but doesn't want to wear sneakers every day!

zappos is the best! These are great boots and felt broken in after walking around the house in them for about 30 minutes. They are hard to get on the first time, but don't let that scare you. When I received them, I noticed one of the boots had a small defect on it. I called Zappos - they must find the nicest people on earth to work there - she immediately sent me another pair, along with a gift certificate for my trouble, before I could even send the other pair back. I will order all of my shoes from Zappos from now on! I usually wear either a 6.5 or 7, but ordered a 6.5 and they fit perfectly.

Fryes rule. This is my 3rd pair....if you're skeptical due to the cost, know that these are made sooooo well & will last you forever. & as always Zappos has amazing customer service.

Awesome boots!! This was an excellent purchase! I highly recommend these boots to anyone interested in a style like this...fashion and function in one great pair of boots! The boot felt slightly narrow at first, but they have stretched and molded themselves to my own feet.

Love this boot - I just love this boot. I had a pair of these when I was a kid and I thought I deserve a pair as an adult. They are classics! I have gotten a lot of compliments on them and I can where them with anything. Once again Zappos was great to deal with. They are simply the best place to buy shoes!!

Excellent Boot!!! For my first pair of Fryes, these boots look just as great as expected. The style brings good comfort without the use of any additional arch supports, etc, although I'd suggest ordering in your usual size if you plan to add any comfort items (Especially if you tend to add arch supports, etc. to keep boots from slipping on your heel) They do run a bit big. Overall excellent boots that look and feel great, crafted to do so for a long time. Bravo, Frye and Zappos! I'm glad I ordered them!

Very happy with these FRYE Boots - Already do I own a pair of "Prairy Flower" Frye Cowboy Boots. They are beautiful. Just bought the Frye harness in GOLD. I went with my regular size 9 and glad I did! Yes they are gold but the shaft area seems like a lighter gold over a brown. They are snug to pull on and get that heel into but the leather will stretch over time. I need to wriggle my heel into the boots at first but they are comfy when on. Even the calve area is nice and loose and my calves are bigger rather than thin. I expect the width of the boot to be tighter than normal until broken in and I don’t mind. I would recommend to anyone buying boots to invest about $10 for a boot jack for easier removal of the boots. These boots ROCK!

15 years and going strong - I've owned my pair of Frye Harness boots since I was a grad student in NY in 1993. I was tickled to read in the Wall Street Journal that they're making a "fashionable" come back... I've traipsed all over in them and they fit me like a glove. I've gotten many comments on how cool they are from the "younger" crowd.

Great, quality boot - My feet aren't wide, but they're definitely a solid medium width. I originally ordered a 1/2 size down, but then exchanged for my regular size especially since I want to wear at least a thin sock with them. I think if you have narrow feet, you'd be fine ordering a 1/2 size down. The heel definitely is a little looser, but these boots look and feel great!

Love them! The service from Zappos is above and beyond any other company! The boots fit great. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe so I ordered a 7 boot. They were a bit snug but have since loosened up to a perfect fit. I originally bought these because I hurt my foot. After getting my cast removed, my doctor wanted me to transition to a walking cast. Being somewhat vain I opted to try the boots. They arrived the same day the cast came off. I tried them on and felt like my feet had gone to heaven. My doctor gave me the OK to wear them instead of his orthopedic boot because they are snug and give the needed support. I love them.

Awesome - These boots are exactly what I expected. Beautiful! I got the gold ones, and they are a gorgeous color! They were really hard to put on at first, especially the right one. I thought I'd never get it on. But with a lot of stomping, I managed. Overall, great boot. They are individually hand made, so it’s to be expected that each foot would fit a little differently. Love them. Stick with your normal size!

Very happy with my Fryes!!!!! I was very impressed with how quick the boots were delivered!!!! I bought a 1/2 size smaller than I normally would because of the other reviews, and they fit quite nicely but I think, if I were to order another pair I would go with my normal size. I just need to work them in a bit!!!!

Normally I wear between a 7.5 and an 8, and after reading all the reviews, I finally decided to order the 7. Felt like the ugly stepsister trying to get them on my feet at first, but once you're in they're super comfy (and surprisingly easy to take off)! The calf area is slim enough to not be bulky under jeans. Decided to buy these after seeing a show on TV where they visited the Frye factory in Arkansas where many of their boots are still made by hand-- you can tell these are really high quality and will last for a long time!

Big shoe, big comfort!!!! Wow, they are so comfortable, I love them!!!!

Awesome Boots! I have been buying Frye Boots for years. These boots have the quality and styling I expect from Frye. Normally I would wear Frye Boots in an 8, however, this boot I ordered in a 7.5 and it fits perfectly.

Frye book review - after reading other reviews of this boot, I ordered 1/2 size down and have to push past the ankle restrictions but then they fit PERECTLY and they soften with wear and come off easily! LOVE these boots - lots of comments from friends!! Extremely comfortable.

Don't let the looks fool you - This boot is really cute. I am a boot fanatic and I wear these all the time but even in comparison with more pointy toed cow-girl boots there is not much room for your toes. It isn't unbearable and if you have slender feet it shouldn't be a problem.

Love this boot!!! I love the look, fit and versatility of this boot. I had been looking for a pair of boots for a long time, and kept coming back to the Frye Harness. After reading the reviews, I was convinced to give it a try. I ordered my true size, and I love the fit. It slipped a bit in the heel at first, but I think that is typical to this style of boot. It's gotten better, and I could probably eliminate it completely with thicker socks. I live in Houston, so I wanted something a little bit country, but not a true cowboy boot. This boot is awesome. I wore it to a rock concert and a rodeo in the first week, and it was equally appropriate for both. Love this boot!

Great boot. I normally wear an 8 but with the conflicting recommendations about the size, I went to the mall and tried both an 8 and 71/2. The fit was the same thru the toe box. Kinda tight. However the 8 seemed to slip a little more in the heel so I went with the 71/2. I prefer my shoes a little on the snug side and wearing thin socks, so the 71/2 was perfect. Like other reviews said, the boot is a little tedious to get on and off at first but very comfortable once on. Fun and comfortable to wear, well made, with a tough and sexy look.

Great boots! I love these boots and they were quite easy to break in - I suggest to wear them for just an hour or 2 at a time for a couple days. I am a size 7, which I initially ordered, even though I read the reviews that said they ran big. Of course, I ended up sending back the 7s for a 6.5. Zappos had them there NEXT DAY for both orders even though I placed the orders so close to 4pm - quite amazing, I must say. I think I found my new favorite website.

My New Boots - These are great boots. They are a little uncomfortable because I have a wide foot and it is taking a while to stretch but other than that they look fabulous. I know they'll feel fabulous as soon as I break them in!
