They're Hot - I've had these boots for over a year. They are my favorite boots ever. I ordered my size and they fit great, I think some people are confused about what size they wear. We ride Harleys and they are perfect for that. They have not lost their shape or appeal and I wear them a lot.

Frye Harness 12R - Good looking boot! I am so happy, as I have wanted a pair of Frye boots for so long! However, they are a half size big (at least)... I just ordered another pair a half size down and will be returning this one. A bit of a bummer, but hopefully well worth it in the end.

I love these boots. I wear them almost everyday. They are casual enough to run to the store with the kids and they look good enough to wear to dinner at night. One of the best pair of boots I've ever gotten.

I love these shoes - My only problem was getting them on easily the first few times- but other than that they're great!

Incredible boot! I just got my harness boots a few weeks ago and I absolutely love them! It took about two to three times (wearing) to break them in but now they fit like a glove and are so comfortable. You will need to order a size down because they run a bit big. They are also a bit narrow (luckily my foot is narrow) so for those who don't have narrow feet it might be a little tricky. I also love the fact that Zappos has the best customer service! Everyone that I have spoken to has been so helpful and extremely nice. I have never dealt with such great customer service, Thank you Zappos!! You also get what you order within 24 hours! Need I say more?

FABULOUS!! I bought these boots two years ago in the red color and absolutely fell in love with them! I decided even though I still have the red ones that I would get them in brown as well! They fit true to size, wear fantastically, and look absolutely awesome!!

GREAT BOOT - My sister had these boots and I really liked them so I ordered them. Get a half size smaller I got a 7.5 instead of 8.When I first got them the toe area seemed to tight but they do stretch to fit quickly. Very comfortable they mold to your feet. Super sexy with jeans and little skirts. Buy them you will love them.

Perfect. These are sort of my dream boots, and they were entirely worth the money. I've only had them for a few weeks but I've already broken them in really well and they are just amazing.

Everything I hoped and more - I LOVE these boots. They are a speck narrow for my wide foot, but since they aren't stretched out yet, I am confident they will be great after a few wears! These boots make me feel wild and confident...they are kick butt. Zappos was awesome to deal with. I will definitely buy more shoes from them in the future!

My little winter secret - I am currently living in New York, and hate all the winter/rain boots that are appropriate for a winter in February. I wanted something that is cute enough to wear out at night, yet comfortable and water proof with a rubber sole. I finally ordered myself a pair of Frye boots. They are construction weld meaning they are extremely sturdy which is imperative in a city like New York where you walk everywhere, they stretch out enough to fit a pair of thick socks, have a good grip to the ground, and look better as they get beat up. I would definitely recommend them. When I went skiing this winter, all my friends wore they Ugly Uggs at night while I was able to run around in my cute Frye boots.

I’ve been wanting these boots for a couple years now. Asked for and got em for Christmas! I love these boots. Listen to all the reviews. Boots run large! I usually end up with 11 to fit my size 10.5 foot. Was very comfortable in the 9.5.

My wife is delighted - I did well. I bought a pair of these for my wife as a Christmas present. She had told me that she had a pair of Frye boots in the early seventies and that she had loved them. Picking up on this, I thought that their purchase would be a good gift. The boots were her best gift despite other, better gifts; you know, the old "pay attention to what she's saying" thing. Anyway, she wears a size 7 1/2 boot, I ordered seven and a halfs and they fit like a glove. They are as well made and as substantial as she remembered them from that time long ago. The leather isn't distressed, exactly, but it's also not perfect which, in this case, is a good thing. The boots are well made using quality materials commensurate with their price (they aren't inexpensive). My wife likes the boots but she's ecstatic that I listened and heard!

Great Boot - This boot is very stylish and appealing to your "inner cowgirl." I have a slightly high arch, so as noted in earlier reviews, it is a bit challenging to pull on. I did get my normal size to account for my arch and that seems to be working well. While the boot is slightly larger, it also allows me to wear a thicker sock. These are not lined, so in my climate this was important. Also, I def recommend waterproofing...while it darkens the color, I believe it will make the boot last. This is a timeless classic style.

I love Zappos... I broke down and bought myself a pair of the Harness 12R in Crazy Horse. My boots went to my former address and I was frantic; I called Zappos and my replacement pair was waiting for me when I got home the next day. I love these boots; they have molded to my feet and I had them on the other day for twenty-two hours and my feet felt wonderful. Get a shoe horn because they are snug in the heel. I get compliments every time I wear them. Zappos is the best..I hope I win a lottery so I can buy all the shoes I want from them forever. I will probably get these in black as well. Order a half size smaller than your regular size...your feet will love you for it.

They are NOT as heavy as I thought! However, do buy them 1/2 size smaller than your size! A friend of mine bought them one size smaller instead and she ended up with lots of pain & bleeding blistered for weeks - just like the other reviewer below! I have muscular calves & wide feet so I was a little worried that they would give me a problem but I was wrong! Yes, they do look heavy but they're urban cowboy boots, of course they are not as light as tennis shoes! I have them (in dark brown) for 3 weeks now and so far they've been great. I think it's about finding the correct size. If you buy them too big, you can fix the problem easily by wearing thick sox but if you buy them too small, they will create huge dilemma for your feet! I just bought the Belted Harness 12R in black a few days ago as my Frye second pair boots. They're lighter than these one, so if you can't handle these classic harness you might want to try the Belted Harness style. Thank you to Zappos for your wonderful service. You ROCK!

Awesome boot!! This boot looks so cool - not a cowboy boot, not a dressy boot but just a cool, unique boot. Only criticism is that it's a bit hard to get on and off because the construction is so good that the leather doesn't "give" much. This boot stands UP in the closet, doesn't fall around like others, which means it's not very flexible. A zipper would rectify that but ruin the look. Still, after getting them on, they felt broken in from day one. Unfortunately, I broke my right ankle after only wearing them 4 times and now there's no way I can get my right foot in the boot. So I gave the boot of my dreams to my sister in law who was quite pleased. I couldn't stand to see them in my closet every day and know I couldn't wear them. I may try the mules. This is my favorite boot ever.

Thank you for getting my boots to me before the snow! I recently moved from Georgia to Colorado and needed to quickly add some boots to my closet of flip-flops and sandals. My new Frye boots arrived the day before the first snow. They were hard to put on at first and after a day of wearing them my feet were throbbing, but I knew boots would have a break-in period. Fortunately these boots felt great by day two. I love them and my feet stay nice and dry in the snow. They are fashionable and durable.

After a long search... I bought these purely for 'fashion', not for use...I have tried on 2 pair, one a full size smaller and one my size. I went with my size. They are tough to get on (to start) and they feel snug, so I only wore them around the house to make sure I liked them. I don't have a really wide foot but these stretched so easily and quickly width wasn't an issue. It really only took one wearing and I was hooked! I tried the mules in this style and I am so glad I paid the extra cash and got boots instead. They go with everything and because they are Frye you know they are good quality. I recommend them...mine fit like a glove now.

Awesome looking boot! This is a gorgeous boot. My feet are hard to fit and I'm sending these back for 1/2 size smaller. Usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9; ordered an 8 1/2. Width is good (for my bunions) but the length is not. They were deliciously comfy even though they were big.

Love em'!! Actually bought these boots in store in the fashion show mall in Vegas. The brown ones. Was walking past and they caught my eye and I could not leave the mall without buying them. I usually wear an 8, but all they had was a 7.5 and they fit perfect. Wore them out to the Jet NightClub and danced the night away til' 4am. Wicked with long slim jeans. Not too fond of the black, but the brown looks better the more scuffed they get. First pair of Fryes ever, but it won't be the last. These boots are very well made for a reasonable price. Great for when you're feeling a little bit country!!

My Big feet Love'm - I received them as a gift from my mother, she bought a size 11, forgot that I wear a size 12 women's, but no biggie they fit perfectly (think the toe box may be a bit larger than most brands). I'm very happy with the fit and comfort, plus the antique gold color is a good mix of warm medium brown and stubble gold metallic leather. They’re a bit dressier than plain leather boots. Plus the shaft height is perfect for those ladies like me that have athletic legs (muscular calves), top hits just about middle of my shin. I can't get over how beautifully made there boots are. Such quality that no other boots I have can compare to them.

Love my Fryes! I love these boots! They make me feel instantly sexy and powerful, like I can do anything. What more can you ask for? I will be wearing these for years to come. I ordered a 9 because, though I think I'm normally a 9, nines have been a little short lately. These fit just fine. Very comfortable out of the box, and I can walk at least a mile or 2 with no discomfort.

Hip, sexy and classy - These are the first pair of Fryes I have owned- tried the veronica slouch, campus and harness 8R and am finally very happy with the black harness 12Rs. they instantly update my whole fall/winter wardrobe and have a sexy and rugged appeal that is also classic! Just what I was looking for to bring out my inner warrior-ess. However I did take one full size smaller than my normal size- Fryes run huge!

Love these boots! These boots are great, very comfortable. I'd buy Frye shoes again and would recommend them. I bought a half size smaller than usual, and they felt a bit tight at first. However within about two days, they stretched enough to mold to my feet.

Classic!! I have wanted these boots for a VERY long time, and I finally caved and purchased them. I have not walked outside with them yet, but the fit is perfect and the look great!!!
