Love it - I absolutely love these boots. They form to your foot and you don't even know they are there. They are also very nice looking. I would highly recommend.

Classic - These boots are timeless and will last forever. Look great with skirts or jeans. Fit is true to size.

I love these boots - These are the best looking boots. They are pretty comfortable right out of the box but need some breaking in. My feet were killing me after the first time I wore them but I can tell they are going to break in and be comfy. I wear a 9.5 or 10 and I got a 9. I think this is the right size. Any bigger my foot would be sliding around too much. These are really worth the price!

Great boots! Beautiful boots, fit great and very comfortable. I have wide-ish feet and athletic calves and these boots were no problem for me, size 7.5. I was also pleasantly surprised that there was no "break-in" period.

Great boots - Despite the cautionary reviews about the sizing of these boots, I bought an 8.5. They were very, very long. I ordered the 8's and love them. I would bet a 7.5 would even fit, but these boots are so narrow I didn't want to push my luck. Plus, being Frye's, the leather stretched a fair amount as they broke in. (Frye's tend to be very easy to break in and these are no exception). The red is a very deep color and I love the squared off toe.

I LOVE these boots!!! I got them in distressed brown and had been looking for a traditional cowboy boot. Nothing looked right on me until I found these! They are very comfortable and well worth the money!!!!

ZINCREDIBLE! When I first saw these boots, I knew they were for me! They were exactly what I was looking for for so long, and I mean long. I must say though, I was a little leary because I never purchased any shoes or boots online before, but the look and quality of these boots sold me! The way they were displayed on Zappos.com showed every detail that you could imagine. I don't consider myself to be a picky person, but I know what I like and what I want in a boot and that’s not always an easy thing to find. My Frye Harness 12R is so awesome in every way! The style, the fit, the craftsmanship is unbelievable! These boots will last a lifetime for sure! I can't express enough on the care and respect that customer service gives to its clients. I placed my order without any kind of hassle, received my confirmation email and within less than 48 hours my boots were delivered at my door ready for me to slip them on and break them in, not that they needed to be broken in because they are so comfortable! Amazing boot! I had been lusting after a pair of Frye boots for a while, and then finally decided to treat myself to a pair for my birthday. I read the reviews and was told by a friend that it did indeed feel a half size larger than marked. I can wear shoes anywhere from an 8 to a 9, so I decided to get the 8 1/2 and see how that felt, expecting to return them for a different size. The 8 1/2 is perfect though! It was perfect for me anyway, because I don't have narrow feet and I need the breathing room with this boot, since it does feel a bit narrow. I put on here though that it feels a half size larger, because too many people with normal feet, I'm sure it does. (Frye's website also says it feels a bit larger.) However, since I don't really have a definite shoe size, I just went with the middle and it worked out fine. The great thing about these boots is that they take no time to break in at all, and they feel just as comfortable as flip flops to me. They also look great with EVERYTHING. Definitely recommend Frye, and as always Zappos is great! I ordered these shoes late on a Sunday night, and got them Wednesday at noon.

Satisfied Customer- made in the USA - I am so happy with my new boots. I've been casually looking for these for about a year or two, trying various makes in this style, all lacking fit, and comfort. I met a lady wearing these and immediately noted the beauty and look of quality. She told me the Frye name and a little history of the company. Her daughter had a pair that they resoled due to long wear- I haven't heard of that lately. I went to Zappos and ordered within the week and am truly pleased. I anticipate they will be durable and gain character with wearing. Worth the wait- meant to be.

Perfect - So comfortable. My new everyday shoe. Size fit perfectly. Was the tiniest bit snug at first but broke in right away. I may only wear Frye shoes from now on.

Half size smaller - I adore these boots. I ordered an 8.5. I typically wear a 9 in most shoes but can sometimes wear an 8.5 if they run large. When I got them I could barely fit my foot in with tights. I have had them a couple of weeks (about 5 long wearings) and I can wear them with thinner socks. They fit amazingly though. I still can't wear them to walk across campus 4 times in a day without getting a bit of a blister on my heel but they will continue to break in. WORTH THE MONEY! These will last a lifetime.

Great Boot! Honestly, I was so nervous to buy these boots. I need COMFORT! Cool is great, but if shoes aren’t comfortable forget it. These are so comfortable. I bought the black and wear them every day. They took a few days to get super comfy and for the leather to soften but now they are molding to my feet and I wear them all day! I have an infant and so I need simple, easy and it’s a bonus to have a good looking shoes. These are all three! I will definitely be buying another pair of Fryes. I did buy these a half size smaller as most everyone suggests and I am a true size 8. The 7 and half was perfect.

Once broken in, these boots are comfortable. These boots are fun to wear and I particularly like the special color red. I receive compliments from strangers all the time. A great boot.

I just fell in love... I've been lusting after a pair of Frye boots for years, and never gave in because they are admittedly a bit pricey. Well, now that I've got them on, I know what the money is for... these boots are amazing!! First of all, they are so solid, there is no doubt you are getting your money's worth. Second, they are absolutely the best looking boots I've ever seen. The leather is gorgeous, the styling is just flawless, and the craftsmanship is obviously first rate. I've only had them for about 5 hours, and I refuse to take them off -- I am deeply in love! They are as comfortable out of the box as some of my old boots after years. I hope they keep getting better as they wear in. A NOTE ON SIZE: half the reviews I read said go up a half size, the other half said down a half size... so much contradicting advice! Then I read a review from a size 6 buyer who said she ordered her regular size and they were perfect. I decided to try it, and she was right! I think maybe if you have smaller feet, it's safe to order your regular size. The instep is snug but not tight, and the heels slip a little but that's normal. I can't wait to wear these everywhere I go! Look out world; here I come with my Frye's on!! (And thank you Zappos for incomparable customer service -- I only had to wait one day! You guys rock!)

Excellent customer service + great boots = WIN - I originally ordered a size down from my original size but when those boots arrived they were too small. I could get my feet into them with some effort, but they were way to tight with socks. Zappos made the exchange process verrry easy. After a short conversation with a customer service rep online, I arranged to exchange the boots I'd received for the same boots a half size larger. A return label for the smaller boots was in my inbox five minutes later and the customer service woman upgraded the shipping on my order. Huzzah! The boots are beautiful and comfortable to walk in. The crazy horse color is a subtly worn brown and the leather smells really nice. Like a tack store.

Another winner from frye - So I'm a Frye addict at this point-I own 3 pairs of their shoes and this is the 2nd boot I've bought. This boot had the same sizing as the other pair (my Frye shoes have been 8.5 and both pairs of boots are 8) and seemed to have the same break-in period of feeling stiff the first day or two, then getting much softer. I wish their boots had more arch support, but they're still very comfortable and I can walk the 5 or so miles I walk everyday pain-free. I also always get complimented on my Fryes. Another satisfied customer!

LOVE MY FRYES!!!!! I got these boots in the brown and I love them they look great with jeans. I'm a hairdresser and can work in them all day. Might could have worn a size smaller but afraid it may not be as comfortable.

These boots are awesome!!! I LOVE my boots. I was concerned about the "break-in" period but it really has not been an issue at all. I wore them all day today and I didn't feel the need to kick them off the minute I walked in the door as I do other footwear -and I've been wearing them all day. It's my fourth or fifth time wearing them. I love the distressed leather. They are great looking and I feel great wearing them. I did have to return my first pair- I felt that they were just a bit too narrow so I went up a half size and that was a perfect fit. Zappos was great to deal with - they had a new pair of boots to me before they had even received the return.

AMAZING - I bought these boots about three months ago and I wear them all of the time. I get so many comments where ever I go. They are amazing. They are somewhat pricy, but completely worth the money. I purchased them because I needed an alternative for tennis shoes that I wore all the time. I am usually a 10.5 to an 11 and I bought my boots in a size 9.5. I have really narrow feet so I wonder if I could have even gone to a 9, but the others fit well. I also have flat feet and most shoes hurt my feet after a few hours, but with these it took much longer. After my boyfriend saw mine he was jealous and he bought a pair also! He just loves his too.
