Yes, I'm so happy to write a review! I ordered these boots for my daughter as a birthday gift. We ordered the 9s as the reviews said they ran big. They didn't fit, but Zappos was so great. They sent her a new pair before I even mailed the 9s back; a pair of 9.5s and she is thrilled! They fit great and Zappos was probably the nicest on-line shopping experience I've ever had! The customer care was exceptional and the product is of course great! The boots are gorgeous! My daughter loves them! Zappos was so fast! I ordered one day and boots were delivered the next day! You just can't beat that!

Great boot and great fit. It does run true to size. I had never had a pair of Frye boots and I thought they might be a little tight or stiff. I am usually a 7, but go up to a 7 1/2 on some shoes so I decided to go up on these. They were too big so I exchanged for a 7 and they were perfect. They are a hard boot, but I was surprised at how comfortable they were.

Ordered these boots a half size down in crazy horse brown. They fit great, very comfortable, the color is nice, wears nicely. Definitely recommended.

I love these boots!They are worth every penny. I noticed the quality as soon as I took them out of the box. I am a 6.5. I ordered both a 6 and a 6.5 to compare and ended up with my true size of 6.5. I love these boots. I typically take between a 9 and a 9 1/2 depending on the shoe style and type of sock/stocking I am wearing. I found the size 9 to be perfect. I can easily wear a medium weight sock with the boot and it is very comfortable. The boots feel great and look even better.

I got the Frye boots in red and I love them! I have always admired Frye boots, but have never had any before, so I read a lot of reviews before buying them. I usually wear an 8 1/2, but many of the reviews said they run big so I got them in an 8 and am glad I did. They fit perfectly. They are also quite heavy, which the reviews did warn about, and my calves definitely get a workout when I am wearing them. They are very comfortable, but I would not want to traipse around in them for hours. All in all, they are gorgeous and I am very happy with them!

Great boots! Just as everyone says, these fit somewhere between a half and full size smaller. I normally wear an 8; ordered it and it was pretty large. Exchanged for a 7 1/2 and they seem okay. They are snug in the toes (even with my very flat, narrow feet), especially on the pinkie toe. I imagine they will stretch out, though. They are also quite stiff, but I imagine this will also ease up with some wearing in. The crazy horse color is great, and looks worn in. Thick, sturdy heel. Love these!

I love the Frye Harness boot! It's a classic boot that will never go out of style. You will have these boots for years! Dealing with Zappos was the best part; they have your shoes to you in no time! They are awesome!

First I'd like to share I looked everywhere for this boot, prior to leaving on vacation, with no success. Alas, I found them from the comfort of my home at Zappos and they shipped them to my destination spot. I got them in time for my birthday and love them. Frye quality craftsmanship, as always, and fit like a glove, no breaking in period! I'm between a 8-8.5; I wanted to use these boots with pants and to funk up a skirt look and so needed them to fit with tights or regular socks. They must be a little generous as the 8 is a perfect fit. I could wear them with a slightly thicker sock if I take the time getting my foot past the ankle; over time and as the soften up I suspect that'll be easier. The foot is comforted by great molding and the sole takes the impact, not the foot. That surprised me the most! They feel like a good sneaker on the foot. Another review mentioned clunky, I think it's fair to say these aren't a streamlined and conforming boot and when you walk you notice the bend at the ankle-like you've a strong strut. I don't mind feeling that little attitude. I also own the tall, flat heeled black buckle boot by Frye and it conforms whereby you don't notice your walk. I suspect it's the wide and generously thick leather that creates that edge. Don't know if that will change over time, but it's a non-issue for me. Stilettos are my only bug a boo; I prefer not to be on stilts.

I absolutely love these boots. They are very versatile. I wear them with skinny or boot cut jeans. Every time I wear them, I receive a ton of compliments. Most importantly, they are extremely comfortable! I typically wear a size 7 1/2 or 8 in a boot, but wear a 7 in these.

I love these boots! I read many reviews before ordering, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'm usually a 7 1/2, and I bought the 7. They fit great. Amazingly, they've never given me any blisters! I expected some, but it never happened. I get tons of compliments on these every time I wear them, and they just seem to get better looking every time I put them on! They look great with my "skinny" jeans. Love them!

Success! These are the best boots ever! I absolutely love the style, feel, workmanship. I can hardly wait until I can afford another pair! But I have to say, persevere with the sizing. It took me three tries to get a good fit, which, finally, is perfect I have to say. I am between a 9 1/2 and a 10 so I ordered a 9 1/2. It was quite large on me, so I then ordered a 9, which was really tight. I was discouraged and thought I would have to choose between one of those two not so great options. Then I ordered another pair, a second pair of size 9 1/2s, and they are perfect. So keep at it if the sizing doesn't work for you at first. And with Zappos' great order/return (free shipping) policy, it was not a problem at all. So, thanks to Frye and thanks to Zappos!

I love these boots! I bought my normal shoe size. I have very narrow feet and they worked pretty well. They are stylish, versatile, and comfortable. They are a bit sleeker and more feminine than in previous years. Love the color and the distressed look.

After being teased by my husband for acting foolish wearing my new boots, we came up with a number. I feel at least 45% more confident wearing these. The style is timeless and they are so well made, you'll feel like a million bucks. They felt a tiny bit narrow at first but have broken in perfectly. They do slip on my heel so I will need inserts. I frequently do those anyway. These are well worth the money! Thanks for helping me avoid the dreaded crowds and malls Zappos.

I am so happy with my purchase of these boots. I can\'t believe I waited so long to buy a pair. I bought a half size smaller just like it said I should and they fit perfectly. The more I wear them the comfortable they get. If you purchase these you will not be disappointed.

Way to go Zappos. I received my boots within 3 days of odering. They were to small so I reordered the same day and got them in 2 days. Free shipping both ways is unheard of. As for the boots, they are great. They are comfortable, well make, exactly what I wanted. I ordered my regular saze 71/2 but had to go up to an 8. Love love love.

These boots are awesome. They do run large, though. I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered accordingly even though I had read the reviews. Well, they came and were so big I was practically stepping out of them. So I sent them back and ordered a 7. They were tight in the ball of the foot and I debated sending them back, but ended up wearing them and because they were leather, they stretched out (in the ball of the foot) perfectly. I love these boots. Get lots of compliments. Everyone calls them cowboy boots, though.

Like everyone else I got a half size smaller and they are just right especially after wearing them a few times. I have narrow feet and they felt tight but they stretched out quickly and now feel perfect. The correct size would have given me blister and probably always felt like I was swimming in them. I ordered both sizes and wore them around the house for a while, but definitely needed the smaller size. I didn't think they were fantastically comfortable at first, but once you have them on for a while they really are quite comfortable and I feel so fashionable. I get compliments every time I wear them. Even my teenage and college age girls think I am cool.

I have these boots in the tan color and love them! Unlike other reviewers, I found that these boots are true to size. These boots will always be in style and are so durable that I know I will have them for years to come.

A lot of people in the reviews said these boots would be too big, and that I should order half a size down. But I was skeptical of that notion and decided to go with my true size (9). That ended up being just fine; they are a tiny bit big, but I have fairly narrow feet. I think I\'ll mostly be wearing them with thicker socks anyhow. I\'ve been receiving non-stop compliments on them! They\'re pretty much perfect to wear with any of my clothes, dressed up or dressed down. So far I\'ve worn them through a snowstorm (kept my feet dry and warm!), to a couple all night dance parties, and to my job at a coffee shop where I\'m on my feet for long hours. Totally comfortable and they took no time at all to wear in. Highly recommend these boots! They are worth the money!

Love this boot. Bought it in red, wow. Compliments every time I wear them. They were comfortable straight out of the box, with luscious thick but incredibly soft leather. Nice footbed padding, I don't even need to wear thick socks. I did end up ordering a half size down from what I normally wear, as others have mentioned. This is an expensive boot, but given Frye's reputation, I know I will wear it for the next decade or more.

Love them! When I first put them on I thought they were going to be uncomfortable; the more you walk in them the more comfortable they get. I was also surprised at how many different styles these boots actually work with. I will never be without a pair of these boots. They are so well made I may never have to buy another pair. I really wish I would have bought these years ago.
