These are so, so cute. And super comfortable right off the bat. I thought they ran pretty true to size. \\r\\n\\r\\nVery well made.

These seriously rock. The tan color goes with everything, and I wear them with both skirts and pants, all year long. I\'ve had these boots for over a year, and they\'ve gotten quite abused in that time. They actually look better as they get worn in. The rubber on the bottom of the heel is getting worn down and some of the plastic-y part of the heel is also starting to wear off, but I\'m sure I can just take the boots to a repair shop and they\'ll fix everything up. I think these will last me many more years, although I\'m currently lusting for some more Frye shoes (Frye sandals are also great).

I have wanted a pair of these boots forever! They are gorgeous and so well made. I got a 7.5, but exchanged for a 7. I'd recommend going a half size down. Great service from Zappos!

Fantastic boots! Love them! Although they definitely do run big! For everyone I know that has a pair, they run half a size larger. I am usually a US 6 but I get a US 5.5.

I absolutely adore these boots! They are comfortable, sturdy and oh so stylish! I have worn these with shorts, skirts and jeans and they make each outfit. I read through other reviews, but seemed to find some conflicting information about sizing. What I found to be true is that this boot runs a full size larger than marked. So, for instance I normally wear a 9.5 or 10 but the 9 fit perfectly. I originally ordered a 9.5 and kudos to Zappos wonderful customer service for a quick exchange!

Diabetes problems with feet. These boots are wonderful. Not only are they beautiful they give my feet ease when i have them on. Love Frye products. I feel like the great black cowgirl and rider. They sat me high on a mountain top above all with the free horses. Feel me.

I adore these boots (crazy-horse color)! Very comfortable and totally stylish with jeans or skirts. It's 105 degrees F outside and I still want to wear them every day.

I am a new woman when I wear these boots. I feel taller and empowered (and ready to kick butt if needed)! I have had these for a few months and they are the most comfortable boots I've worn. Very good quality. I wear them in the garden, on the motorcycle, and uptown. My husband is a cowboy and I am more of a hippie so I feel like these boots are a compromise of styles. I like the distressed leather and heavy sole. They were very tight the first few times that I wore them but broke in quickly.

These boots are great! They were a little tight at first, but after the first wear they stretched out perfectly! Worth the money!

First let me start by agreeing with almost every other reviewer. Order a full size down! I almost always wear an 8 and had to return the size 8 pair that I bought for a size 7. Also the front of the boot is a little narrow and tight, but the leather will stretch. I bought these boots for a fashion boot and a motorcycle riding boot. I have ridden with them a few times and have been happy with how they fit. The harness offers protection and the non-skid leather sole is a must for riding boots. I am very happy with these boots. They are very stylish and functional. An all around great boot. I'm looking forward to breaking them in and hope to have them for years!

I love my Frye boots and have worn them everyday since I purchased them. The leather is great quality and the soles will shape to your foot. I am usually an 8, but needed a 7.5 in these boots due to my narrow feet.

My husband and I have both purchased Frye 12R boots. They fit wonderfully and we get a lot of compliments on them. They were shipped to us in mock speed and are the most comfortable boots we have ever owned.

I typically wear a 10-11 in boots and the 11 was way too narrow for my foot. This is a beautiful well made boot and for those with narrow feet it would be a great fit.I did get the boot on but there was no way I could wear it that tight. I then ordered the men's version of this boot in a wide and the calf was too tight on it. Now I've decided to go with the Engineer in black. Every internet shopping site should take lessons from the people at Zappos. I've never received better service anywhere, ever! Hopefully,the Engineer will work for me but if not I know I can send it back to Zappos and try another style, brand, etc. Talk about putting the customer first! WOW!

Boots arrived quickly and are fantastic! Zappos could not have been easier. Boots are a little roomy at the ankles, perhaps its just me getting used to the cowboy boot style. I'm so excited wearing them!

I LOVE these boots. I have them in red. These were actually my third pair of Frye boots. They are so comfortable I wear them to work where I stand all day. They don't even need breaking in, and they look amazing. I get compliments on these boots all the time, and I wear these with everything. I used to be a jeans and tennis shoes girl, now I'm a jeans and Frye boots girl.

I've owned these boots for years and even though I wear them almost weekly, they still look great. They are very comfortable and look and wear great.

Great boots. Ordered them after 3:00 pm on a Thursday and they arrived by Friday A.M. Amazing!!! Very comfortable and I did order a half size smaller and the fit was great. Shaft height is perfect and leg diameter was right on. My calves are not too thin and not big either. Zappos customer service rep. was awesome. Very friendly and efficient. My first order but definitely not my last. Thanks again.

Bought these boots for my girlfriend and besides being very sexy on her she absolutely loves them and the way the feel. She tells me that she gets looks and compliments every time she wears them.

I ordered these a couple days after Christmas as a present to myself, since I’d been eyeing these for a few years. I had been lusting after the tan, but at the last minute decided to go for the red! I have not regretted that at all, I have enough brown shoes and boots. I normally wear 9.5-10 and ordered these in 9.5. With a good pair of boot socks, these are perfect in fit, with enough room to wiggle my toes. I have worn these boots literally every day since I got them; at work, on dates, even to Mass. They go equally well with everything in my wardrobe, though keep in mind I tend toward darker colors, not pastels or khaki. The leather is thick and sturdy, though it will soften up and stretch a bit with wear. The shaft is not as stiff as I thought it would be and has now slouched down a bit, but that doesn’t bother me. The low heel puts your foot in a natural position, and makes the boots very comfortable to wear, though not in a cushiony way. I normally hate to spend much money on clothes or shoes, especially since a lot of women’s apparel falls apart quickly. I don’t mind spending the money on something that will last a long time, though. While the cowgirl look might not always be in fashion, I doubt it will ever look outlandishly out of date. I look forward to wearing these boots for years to come.

I love the boots. They are excellent quality and definitely made to last a lifetime. I normally were a size 9.5 or 10 but based on other reviews that said they run big, I ordered a 9.5. Much to my disappointment they were too big. I called Zappos to find out about an exchange and they shipped me the 9's next day air, no charge. I had my boots before I even had a chance to mail back the others. Great boots! Great service! I am a happy customer that shall return!

I love my Frye boots. Normally I wear a 6.5 or a 7, so I ordered the 6.5s but they were definitely too big. Thanks to Zappos’ excellent exchange policy I was able to get boots in a size 6 sent to me overnight (with free shipping!). The 6s feel much better. These are heavy boots, but very comfortable. Gorgeous, rich leather. I’ll be wearing these for a long time!

OH. MY. GOD. These are FABULOUS!!! All boots, even Frye, are NEVER comfortable to me, I wear them anyway. Fryes usually come the closest to comfortable for me. But these Harness 12R in Crazy Horse Dark Brown fit like gloves right out of the box. Wore them the next 3 days all over downtown Portland, probably hoofed over 10-15 miles without a blister, redspot, nothing! I’ll keep them forever!
