These boots are amazing! After reading the other reviews, I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear and they fit perfect. They are very true to color examples. Broke in very quick - were comfortable on day one. Great boots!

The IT boot! I love the rustic yet stylish look of these boots, and they go with everything. I did have to order one half size smaller than usual because my heel was slipping up a lot. Thank you Zappos for being the most gem online company of all!

Love my boots! They run a little narrow, but after wearing for a while, they'll break in. Frye's last forever; my son wants me to will them to my daughter-in-law. Very fast delivery!

Love at first sight, had to save money so I could buy these boots! I read a lot of the reviews so I Ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear, they fit me perfectly. This is such a high quality product that I know will last me years to come. I have worn them with jeans, skirts and even a dress. I am so in love and don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t want to stop wearing them!

I love my boots! They aren't too high in the calf, but tall enough to feel "booty". The color works as brown or gray - very versatile. The width runs a bit narrow. I recommend going up a 1/2 size if you tend to be wide.

Really nice boot, great color, comfortable. Will wear with skirts and pants--versatile! Fits a bit tighter across ball of foot, looser in the heel, but not a problem.

I normally wear a 10.5 in running shoes, but seem to wear a 10 in cowboy and logging boots; I ordered these in a 10.5 and my foot was sort of swimming and the heel came up and down while walking. So I sent them back for a 10, and they fit nicely. High quality leather and you can just tell the boot is constructed extremely well. Will last a good while. You definitely get what you pay for; boots over $200 are an investment. These are worth it.

Have had these boots 5 years easy and still look new, pretty much. A little stress on the leather but that's how they're supposed to look. Have to stretch the toes every fall. They are an investment worth having. I will likely be buried in them one day. They know who you are when you're wearing Frye boots.

What can I say that hasn't been said? These are quality, stylish boots that will last a lifetime. Zappos service is unparalleled.

I love this boot! It is extremely comfortable. The leather is soft and they are easy on and off boot. They look great with skinny jeans and leggings. I would highly recommend these boots.

Had a pair of Fryes years ago so went with these when I was looking for a pair to use with my horses. They look great. My only complaint is that my heel slips in them. It does seem to be getting better as I wear them. I put in a heel cushion which helps. Overall very happy with my purchase. Thanks Zappos again for great service.

I love these boots! I first tried the 15 inch Frye Harness and they looked like I had fireman boots on so I ordered the 12 inch and love them. I only wish they weren\'t so heavy and they would be perfect. They run very large so I would order down a half or whole size. I ordered down half a size and put an insert in them and wear heavy socks with them. They still are clunky sounding when I walk but I feel so cool in them so makes it worth it. I wish I could give them five stars for comfort but they certainly aren\'t like wearing bedroom slippers like my Uggs. Overall, fun boot to wear. I bought the color crazy horse and they go with most anything. Zappos is the greatest as most of you know!

These are the best boots ever! I had been looking at Frye boots for years, but the price always got in the way. I took the plunge and couldn't be happier. They felt like they had been mine for years the second the came out of the box. I can see the wisdom in ordering 1/2 size down, but if you live in the Northeast, like I do, the extra space is just right for wool socks. Don't think about the price, just buy them! They are well worth every penny.

Great looking boot! A bit snug around the toes, but I ordered true to size. The boot will take some getting used to, but I have gotten many great compliments. I choose style over comfort for this shoe!

These boots are great - comfortable and true to size. Zappos processed my order in an extremely timely fashion - the order arrived within a day or so after placing it!

I thought for sure I'd take a 7.5 in these since my regular size is 8 and I'd heard so much about going a half size down. Plus, my feet are narrow. The 7.5 felt really narrow and overall too small, with some ankle rubbing. The 8 felt like a better fit. I can't wait to wear them in. Good craftsmanship, too. They weigh a ton.

The 8.5 boot is a perfect fit! Kind of like finding the right guy - gotta try several on - because when it fits you just know it! These boots and I will live happily ever after and I have Zappos to thank! (Too bad you don't stock men!)

Love these boots, look great with everything. Wore them all summer to music festivals and loved the way they looked and protected my feet. Plus, I got them from Zappos, so no worries with returns.

Love these boots! Just arrived today! These are the real deal...rustic, durable leather that will definitely get better over time! I ordered my actual size 9 and they fit great - with enough room for a sock is need be. Like that the shaft is wide enough to go over straight leg jeans. I am a radio personality and these will make their debut at a remote from a county fair.

Lovely boot, beautiful, classic with the promise of a lifetime of wear. I'm very disappointed to return, but could barely pull it on. I usually wear an 8.5, though sometimes go to 9 on a boot; wish I had this time. I know the leather wears in after a while, but my toes wouldn't have been able to bear the break in because I felt it was slightly narrow, too. Could tell they'dve been comfortable in the right size. I definitely recommend going a half size bigger than normal. It works out okay for me, because I think I'd prefer the 15" rise. Gorgeous boot, though.
