I wanted those boots! I thought about it and thought about and finally decided to try it out. Firstly I love the free shipping back and forth if I wanted to return them and secondly I didn't want them to not be available! They are perfect! Great color, I have not seen anyone here with that same pair (always a plus!). The quality of Frye boots is second to none and well worth the investment. They are timeless and I will get a lot of wear out of them. Wore them to a concert the first time and got so many compliments. Well worth it and as usual Zappos was great.

New to Frye boots, but can already tell these are boots to last a lifetime. Very durable and well crafted. Hard to pull on and off but I wouldn't go any larger as I already ordered a half size smaller than normal and there is still room at the toe. Regardless, I walked around New York for a week breaking them in and they get better and better. Inside leather fuzz sometimes sticks to socks. Lots of compliments on them wherever I go!

These boots are gorgeous!! They\'re a bit heavy and loud to walk in, but they\'re comfortable and they look great with everything.

These boots have worked out perfectly for me. I bought them a half size up as others recommended and they are just right. They are breaking in very well and are even more comfortable than I\'d hoped. I do have to wear them with relatively thin socks but even that has not made them uncomfortable. Overall, the boots are also incredibly stylish and I find myself trying to find excuses to wear them!

I am a true size 8. These boots ran larger than a size 8. I slipped out of them when I tried them on.

Absolutely the most comfortable boots ever. I didn't even have to break them in! They go with so much - I wear them with dresses, skirts, jeans. This is my second pair of Frye Harness (have them in black, too. That pair is 4 years old and still looks fab!) and I highly recommend them. Everyone I know who has invested in a Frye boot has been extremely happy with their product.

These boots feel true to size for me though most of the reviewers find them larger than their usual size. I bought them in tan and they're really beautiful. They add edginess and oomph even to my most boring outfit. The boots are very stiff at first but once you wear them, they will mold perfectly in your feet -- no breaking-in required. I really love them!

Best boots I've ever owned. They are so comfortable, right from the first wearing and the rugged look can be dressed up or down. I am usually a size 9.5 or 10 and ordered a 9 based on the advice of other reviews and they are a perfect fit. I also have large calves and these boots fit my calves well. I wear them at least 4 times a week and will be wearing them for years to come.

Great looking boots. Get compliments all the time. The quality is outstanding. Definitely worth the cash. These boots will last forever. A little stiff at first, especially around the ankle area, but stretched out nicely after a few wears. Boot is heavy, but it doesn't contribute to any problems during wear. Thought I might have problems since I have wide feet, but am able to wear even with thick socks. Will buy Frye again.

I love these boots! I ordered them at 7PM on a Thursday and they were there the next morning! They are super comfortable (take a few wears to break in) and go with anything. I'm a college student and these boots are perfect for class or to dress up to go out. Love these boots and love Zappos.

These boots are beautiful, feel great. They are a little stiff but they are made with high quality leather. The feel very well made and look great with jeans tucked inside. The calf of boot is wide, roomy, not a tight calf-fitting style. They feel true to size and I wear them with a thick sock. If you are wearing them barefooted then they may feel a half-size larger than expected.

This is my first pair of mid-calf boots with no zippers, and they were a bit difficult to put on the first time. Taking them off the first time was also a challenge. By the second wearing they were easy on, easy off. I wore them for a whole day at work; I'm a teacher and I'm on my feet a lot, but my feet did not hurt at all. These are my new favorite boots! Sizing: I normally wear a 7.5 and the size 7 boots fit me well, with enough room for a pair of woolen socks.

Well made and extremely comfortable, plus they look really great. I always wear a 9 and needed to exchange for an 8 1/2, which I can still wear with a thicker sock in cool weather.

Love these boots! Good looking, looks like they'll wear forever. I had some Frye boots in college, they just got better looking with age. They are a bit heavy, but not horrible. They were comfortable with first wearing. The only irritation was the Frye label on the inside rubbed against my leg when my sock fell too low. I'm a solid B width; these have room for a heavier sock. Love, love, love these boots!

After reading the reviews on this website, I was confused about what size to order since I was "in-between" sizes, so I ordered what I usually wear. The right boot felt like it was slipping on my heel.

These are beautiful boots! For all of you wide calf ladies, my calf is 15 1/2 at its widest and these fit perfectly! They come up right under the calf. The boots are a little snug when you first put them on but quickly stretch and are very comfortable. This was a great buy!

Love these boots. I'm halfway between 8.5 & 9 normally. I'm 8.5 in these and the heel still slips some. That being said, I have a pair of flippers, long, narrow feet which may be why I went down the size. Generally I would think these are true to size given trying both 8.5 and 9s. If your feet are narrow, some kind of insert, Scholl's, will fix you up right good. Awesome red boot.

These boots look great and are overall pretty comfortable. I initially ordered an 8.5, but had to exchange it for the 8. Zappos upgraded me to overnight shipping on the exchange, so I got the boots the next day! The color is fabulous, and they go great with leggings or skinny jeans. I would recommend this boot.

I get so many compliments on these boots. You do need to break them in and the absolutely run large so get the smaller size. Zappos customer service is amazing and delivered for free in two days.

I've owned these boots for 4 years, in this red color, and I can not tell you enough how wonderful they are. People on the street stop to compliment me. Worth every penny!

I love these boots, but beware. When I first got them I had a hard time getting them on. I have thick ankles and thick calves and I didn't think I was going to be able to wear them. I decided to try and force my foot in because I know boots can be hard to get on. Am I glad I did. Once I got them on they fit perfect. The leather is pretty supple and they loosen up quickly. Now I have no problems getting them on. The style is great and they seem to be very durable and are wearing well. The toe box is roomy and sturdy. Love the Harness style. Highly recommend for a good pair of durable, yet stylish boots.

Absolutely love these boots. Great quality leather, comfy as slippers and oh so cool! They look fabulous with jeans, skirts and dresses. I live in the northeast so bought them half a size larger to wear them with thick socks in the winter.
