I'm absolutely in love with these boots. I had been looking at these for a while and finally decided to take the plunge. I'm so glad I did. I wear them all the time and they go with everything. These are my new go to boots. They took about 2 times of wear to break them in and now they are the comfiest boots I own.

These boots are great, perfect height and so comfortable right out of the box. I ordered a half size smaller than my usual size 7 and they are perfect.

I wanted a pair of well-made cowboy boots for years and haven't found the perfect pair until these! Fit: I read all the reviews and I m glad I did because it helped me pick the correct size. It's true, they are extremely tight when you first try them on. So much so that I had trouble getting my foot past the strap area. Once I did they were very roomy and comfortable. I wear a 10, sometimes a 10.5 because I have wide feet. I purchased size 10 and I have absolutely no issue with tightness at all. Within two wears they were perfect. A reviewer did comment that they are a heavier boot which is true. Look: I purchased tan and it's a gorgeous brown that truly goes with everything. Let me tell you these beauties look great with everything. You can wear them with jeans, or show off legs with shorts/skirt and they look fantastic! Another added bonus, I'm now wearing them on the back of my husband's Harley. No more special motorcycle boots for me! The square toe is actually a nice look, and I imagine they will be in style for many years. And let me throw my kudos in for Zappos! I've ordered many things from them and they are always 100% customer service always.

This is my second pair of Fryes, I love them! They are my everyday boots and they stand up to all weather. They run true to size, or a little on the large side. Super comfortable!

Why did I wait so long to purchase these? I've been wearing them everyday since their arrival and absolutely loving them! Very comfortable, very stylish and very well crafted! I selected the Charcoal Old Town color and am thrilled! They are a gorgeous dark grey blending into an almost black at the heel and toe! I was torn between ordering these 12R's or the Harness Shearling and then opted for the regulars as they would be a more versatile 3 to 4 season boot. Based on a friend's recommendation, I ordered my Frye's one size up and purchased a pair of L.L.Bean Shearling foot pads and OMG...I'm in heaven! Absolutely the best ever! This is my 2nd purchase through Zappos, I am so pleased with the ease & convenience & service that the team at Zappos offers! They can't be beat!

These boots are my all time favorite. I love the style and it goes great with skinny jeans, short, and dresses. I ordered a half size smaller than usual because of the other reviews, best decision made. It was hard to get my foot in at first, but after wearing them a couple of times it loosed up. I also wear them all most every weekend which helps not having to keep breaking them in.

I love these boots! I've been coveting them for years and I finally broke my piggy bank and bought them. They are pricey but oh so worth it. I can walk around Manhattan, go to a bar, take the kids to the playground, hike, put a log back in the fire, and go to lecture all in the same boots. And I don't even have to check the weather report because these boots are all weather! Doesn't get better than that!

Bought these boots and was a little skeptical since they were heavy but after wearing them a few times, they are really comfortable, look awesome and have already molded to my feet! I got a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear because I heard they run large - they fit perfect! Thanks Zappos.

I can cover my review of these boots in one word... FABULOUS! I am a 7 1/2 to 8, the 7 1/2 fit perfectly, the only thing left is years of enjoyment!

These are great boots. I've coveted Frye boots for years and years and finally treated myself. I feel like these boots will last forever. They are sturdy and comfortable and look great. I usually wear an 8.5 but ordered an 8 after reading other reviews. I'm very happy with the 8, they fit perfectly--roomy, if anything. These boots seem a bit narrow, which works well for me, but those with wider feet may have trouble.

Best boots ever. This was my first pair of Frye's. I now have three pair, this style and the Veronica Slouch and Veronica Shortie. I am a size 9-9.5. I ordered these in a 8.5 after reading reviews. They were hard to get on, and felt snug at first. I was patient and wore them with thin socks until they broke in. Sure enough, they fit like a glove after wearing them for a few weeks. I now have ample room in the toe and can wear thick socks without them being too snug. These boots are heavy and stiff, but that is the nature of the beast of genuine leather. Two years in they are still a little hard to get off, but don't let that stop you from buying these. I get tons of compliments and feel sexy in these boots. Never buy cheap boots again, you get what you pay for with Frye, beautiful, high quality made in the USA boots that will be a staple in your wardrobe!

I just got my boots today and I'm pleased! They fit true to size for me, as I normally wear a size 9 and that's what ordered. My only complaint, which really isn't a complaint is the color. I ordered the Dark Brown, which on the website looks more of a lighter brown/tan color; however, the boots in person are a lot darker and look more like the tan display on the website. Not sure if that's a mix up of the actual boot and actual color. Either way, I still love my boots!

This is my first pair of boots and I was initially hesitant due to the price tag. Knowing Zappos amazing return policy, I took the leap. I am so glad I did. I wear these boots almost every day. They go great with shirts, jeans, and skirts. I am able to go dress with a nice top, skirt and leggings. They also feel wonderful. It only took one day to break them in and when I get home I don't care to take them off.

This boots are seriously great. the smoke color works well because it's like a brownish-gray making it easier to wear with a wide spectrum, not just browns. these boots are pretty true to size and continue to stretch a bit, so if you're on the edge, order the lesser of the two sizes. Plus as with all Fryes, they get better and better comfort-wise with time. Still breaking these in, but my last pair is so great!

After trying on 4 other styles of FRYE, I finally found my boot. They arrived on Friday and I have worn them sock free for 6 days. They are awesome. Comfy right out the box yet every day more comfortable. Zappos is the absolute best online site. Customer service is a pleasure to speak to, like an old friend. Thanks Zappos!

I bought these in tan, a half size smaller than my normal size because of the reviews and it was right on. I wore them to a concert, without socks for about 6 hours the day after they arrived, did a lot of walking and only suffered a little rubbing on my pinkie toes. I suspect that will subside as they get broken in. The tan is a bit darker than I anticipated but it is a beautiful color and overall I'm really happy with my purchase! Oh yeah, I got a lot of compliments at the concert and one gal actually jumped on her smartphone when I told her where to find them.

I had researched and tried on dozens of boots and finally bit the bullet and purchased these. Zappos was great- super fast shipping! The boots are amazing!!! From step one, I knew I had found the right boot! Comfortable, but sturdy- not sneaker comfy- solid. I ordered them 3 weeks ago and have worn them every day- all day- with jeans, skirts, dresses-- they go with everything! And my feet and back aren't sore at the end of the day. I am a size 8 with a high arch- and i ordered a size 8- the fit is perfect. If you're on the fence about these boots- jump off and throw down that credit card- these are worth it!!!!

Just got my boots in the mail and I love them! I've wanted to buy a pair of Frye boots for a long time since I was wearing through boots from other brands in only a year or two so I wanted some boots that would really stand the test of time. I orginially purchased the Veronica Slouch style and returned it because it didn't seem as well made as I would have hoped for the price. I am happy to report that the Harness 12R are exactly what I envisioned. I am looking forward to breaking in these boots and wearing them for many years to come. Absolutely love these boots! I had admired them for a couple years and finally went for it. Ordered two pairs (8.5 and 9) so I could compare. Ended up keeping the smaller size. The vintage leather is beautiful. I know I will be wearing these for many, many years.

I'd never before spent this kind of money on a pair of shoes of any kind. I doubt I ever will again, because these are simply the best-looking, best-made, most comfortable boots I have ever worn, and I anticipate wearing them for a decade before I consider replacing them. Because I have wider feet, I am used to buying half a size up, but had tried these on in 8 and 9 in a store, so I knew I needed an 8.5. Perfect fit. Amazing boots.
