Shoes run short. Shipping took too long. Attitude on phone was poor and not helpful. Will not buy shoes direct from you again.

Had to return, could not get my NewBalance 5 1/2 2E foot anywhere near stuffed into these 2E shoes. Seems like all the NB shoes are getting narrower and shorter.

This is the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever put on my feet. I paid a good price for this shoe I wore it to work one day and by the time I got home my feet and legs hurt so bad it was awful. I bought it in the mens wide as a reviewer said she did and in a womens wide two pair I will return the men's, I can not return the women's as I wore them. It's a shame to pay so much for shoes that you can not wear. Very UNHAPPY!

I am very disappointed in the shoes . I bought the same number as I always wear. They are mesh
instead of leather. They are uncomfortable even though same size as I always purchase.
I will be returning them

I've been in New Balance shoes for over 20 years and lived every pair. Until now. These shoes (And the pair before) were so horribly uncomfortable I'm sending them back. I seven returned and sized up! SO disappointed. I'd give them a zero if I could.

I bought the original 928 several years ago, and it was well made, cushiony and the leather was soft. This v3 is uncomfortable, the cheap leather upper is very stiff, the soles have no support and no cushion. It feels like I'm walking on cement blocks. I gave it ample time to break in, with no improvement. So disappointed in the decline in quality. Now I have to find another sneaker.

I have worn this shoe for many years. They have gone downhill to the point I feel like I am walking on cardboard with lead weights in the sole. What happened to your quality?

I've been wearing NB for over 10 years and purchase an average of 3 pairs each year. Have always just put them on and was good to go. I appreciate the roll bar in the heal and the support and cushion in the shoes. I've have recently had to return 2 pair and reorder again to get a pair that fit and were comfortable. What I am getting now are cheaper shoes with very little cushion or padding inside and I feel like I am walking on the sole.
They just aren't the quality they once were and I am forced to shop for something better.

I've worn your shoes exclusively for 25 years. They've gone from feeling like I'm walking on clouds to walking on boards. Goodbye old friend. Next...
Disappointed!,

I have worn new balance walking shoe for 20+ years. Since the co. sold the quality has really gone downhill!! They used to be all leather, the shoes are narrower and they are very stiff. It feels like I am standing and walking on 2 board planks. They don't have the cushion or support. It has definitely changed the way I walk and my stride. I am going to look elsewhere for a better quality shoe.

DISCLAIMER: I fully acknowledge that everyone's feet are different. With that said:
I have had wonderful experiences with v1 and v2..this v3 is horrible for me! I've usually worn a 9.5W or a 10 Normal. I went to the NB store I've been going to for years. I had the consultant measure my feet. I tried on those 2 sizes and I decided to get the 9.5W. But a few days later I realized that it was difficult to walk smoothly and I was dragging the shoes, as I was nearly walking out of them. I got home and looked at the size on the box and the shoes, and they ended up being the 10 Normal. There was no problem exchanging them. However, after a week or more of walking in themI don't know what happened, but the 9.5W also started to drop off my heels. (I use orthotics, and I always start new shoes with using only **my** orthotics as the insole. Eventually, the shoe relaxes and I'll put the original insole on top of my orthotic. Unfortunately, this didn't work. Thicker socks and another shoe liner/insole didn't work either. Unless the v4 is better, I won't be buying these shoes anymore.

I bought these sneakers based on the New Balance name. I should have read all the reviews. The shoe is so stiff I feel as though I have a hard cast on my foot. I am suffering from a stretched tendon and I thought this shoe would help since I also have to wear a brace on my foot. Well unfortunately this sneaker made it worse. There was no give to the shoe and the extreme hardness actually made the pain worse in the injured foot, and so uncomfortable on the other foot that I could hardly walk. When I went back to my foot doctor I showed him the sneaker and he said it was the worse shoe he had ever seen and advised me to return them and not wear them at all.

The shoe didn't give much support and the sole seemed lumpy. I started getting pain on the bottom of my foot near the heel and walking took a lot of effort compared to my version 1 shoes. I am at a loss as to how to find a shoe to accommodate my very sensitive feet.
I need a round toe box, wide in front but narrow at the instep and heel. Also this shoe isn't quite deep enough, in terms of fitting orthotics. But the worst part is the sole doesn't distribute pressure or provide support like a good walking g shoe should.

I bought the suede version of this shoe. I wear orthotics and need a good supportive shoe. These are like walking with cement blocks on the bottom of your foot. Very uncomfortable. They were true to size however they went right back. I would not recommend them at all.

These shoes did not feel good on my feet! Very hard sole and very hard to just walk in. I usually wear Brooks Addiction Walker and I will stick to those. I just wanted to try to find something else to wear at other times but no luck! I don't know what New Balance does to their shoes but these felt like walking with cement blocks on the bottom of my feet. I wear soft orthotics so they should feel good but they didn't. I wouldn't recommend these shoes at all. I'll stick to the Brooks! Zappos is the best.

I've been wearing the 928 for years, from the very first version. This v3 is terrible -- the tongue has been shortened (why would anyone do that?), so it cuts into your ankle. Also, there is very little support now in the shoe itself --it's a very "hard," flat feel. And while I need a large toe box, this one is a bit too large. The "evolution" of this shoe from v1 to v2 to v3 has the shoe getting worse each time, an example of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Please go back to a regular tongue and to the support this shoe has been known for!!

Purchased my 3rd pair of this shoe earlier this year, Manufactured 03/2018. From day one couldn't wear them for more than 2 hrs and had to go back to wearing my shoes from 2017 until they totally wore out. Guess I'm going to try buying new ones, just hope the new ones are better.

I ordered these in the leather grey and white mesh in my usual size 9EE the 9 is way too long and when I tried the 8.5 it was too short. The grey is really nice but the sizing of this shoe is way off

I have worn the same size New Balance for decades. I've not had a weight change. I have 928 in several pairs, B width, which I last ordered 2 years ago. I ordered these 928GR3 to replace my worn ones. The toe box is definitely narrower, and pinches, crunches my toes. My first 3 toes are all the same length. What I loved about the previous 928, is that the toe box was roomy, but no more. I have a regular width heel and ankle. I also tried the D width, but it was huge everywhere, sloppy. I'm so sad, as now I have to search for a completely different shoe.

Nice looking shoe but really uncomfortable in the ball of the foot. No cushioning at all, felt like I was walking on cement. Too bad, I really need a good stable stability shoe that fits my orthotics. New Balance has really cheapened their shoes. You really notice it material wise. Too bad. They use to be the best shoe company! I will continue to look. Zappos is really a credit to the people who have foot problems and have to try on a zillion different shoes before they find one that fits!!!!! Thank you Zappos!
I'd also recommend:
Brooks Addiction Walker and sometimes Ariel!

I bought 2 pair of these 928v3. I've been wearing 1 pai for less than 2 weeks.....I now have athletes foot!!. I believe these we're tried on by someone infected and returned and sent to me, or they just have no breathability, i believe the former. I'm sending the other pair back.

This is my 2nd pair of 928v3's. I should have worn the 1st pair a little more before I bought another. They hurt my feet. I have blisters on my heel and the ball of my foot from these shoes. And the materials you use on the inside do not breath. New Balance...you are ruining your reputation. I gues you just don't care about the customers that have made you successful. Now you can ignore your long time customers and just sell to young people with no foot problems. If I could give zero stars I would, I'm done with you!

Not sure why, but these are not comfortable. I have worn lots of NB walking sneakers and these are awful. Thought it was a fluke the last few times I wore them, but wore them again today and my feet hurt again. I suggest a different model than these.
