Shoe is not as comfortable as I had hoped. Not at all true to size. Right shoe feels tighter than the left. Would think long and hard before I order this shoe again BUT must say that Zappos is great. Service is great and selection is excellent.

Hard shoe - Wow is this shoe hard to break in. I found this shoe to be higher than most at the ankle. Because the leather is stiff, it is often painful to walk. I have been wearing the shoes for a while to break them in, but this isn't easy because the leather is just really hard. They just don't soften and get comfortable like most shoes. The shoe also seems to come in a little small compared to most other brands.

Unfortunately, after years of good experiences with Bostonian shoes, this particular pair was awful. After only one day of wear, the thin, black skin of the leather began flaking off where the shoe bends at the toe when walking. The shoes looked horrible by lunch time the first day I wore them.

Poorly made - These shoes aren't very well made. The tongue is barely stitched on, so that it slides to one side as you wear it. Also, the heel counter is poorly shaped, so your heel slips upward on every stride. Inexpensive, but not a very good shoe, overall.

I wore these shoes once and after 6 hours of wear I noticed were the shoe bends at the shoe a "bubbling". When I looked closer and went to rub the shoe the actual finish slipped right off the shoe leaving a bare spot. The left shoe was uncomfortable, it was cutting into my ankle bone.

Loved these so much I'm about to order a replacement pair.

Yes I love the shoes I just ordered from Zappos Bostonian Akron these shoes are so comfortable feels like I''m walking with socks on that's how nice they are glad I brought them.

Love these shoes. I was a little skeptical when I first received them (because the color was a little more red than I thought I wanted), but after wearing them and breaking them in I started to like the color more and more. These are my first pair of shoes from this brand and they fit great! And as usual had no problem with the shipping and customer service from Zappos.

Been using Zappos for 4-5 years and Excellent Zappos' Customer Service once again. Always amazed that the shoes can be delivered the next day from when I order them.

Great looking shoe that is also functional. The soles have great traction and they are very comfortable, even for someone like me who has very flat feet.

This shoe is one of my husband's go to shoes. He loves it and I know exactly what size to get because it fits so well for him.

I purchased these shoes at another vendor in the past but they're no longer available from that vendor. Zappos came through. Got what I needed at a good price with no hassles. Thanks!

These are very nice shoes. They have a good contermporary professional look and quality construction. The leather soles give them a quality look but they can be a little slippery in winter. Comfort is reasonable for dress shoes.

These shoes are actually much sexier than they look in this picture. For this reason, I am very fond of them. I wear them with everything from a full suit to grey skinny jeans. I actually bought my pair about four years ago, and unfortunately, they spent most of that time sitting in my closet, because I found they pinched my toes after the first full day of wearing them. They are definitely a bit narrower in the toes than I would like. However, I recently discovered that there is a whole industry dedicated to stretching leather shoes; I stretched out the toe area, and now I absolutely love them. If you know you are at risk for a bit of pinch in the toes, I would probably avoid them. Otherwise, I recommend them unconditionally. They are beautiful shoes.

I've had a pair of these shoes since 2006. They just now wore out after constant wear (5 days a week at least) for work/funerals/weddings. I'm sad to see them go, but I immediately looked up where they were so I could replace them with the same pair. Nunn Bush has impressed me with quality and comfort, and I plan to be a customer for some time.

Got these for our groomsmen to wear with their tuxes. Everyone loved them and thought they were extremely comfortable. These shoes can also be worn as regular dress shoes (they are not so super shiny to be tux only shoes, which is why we picked them so they could wear them again). Highly recommended!

These shoes are a great value. I'm on my fourth pair in the last five or six years. They look good for work, they last a long time, and they don't cost too much. I have a narrow foot, and these fit me well. As with everything on Zappos, shipping is very fast.

Great shoes. Really like the style. The "wide" version fit perfect for my slightly wide feet. Regular shoes were giving me a 'neuroma', essentially a pinched nerve in my foot. Even some other wide shoes I bought recently would aggravate it. After wearing these shoes for 2 full days, I can say they performed really well. At a recent wedding I didn't even have to take them off discretely under the table to give my foot a rest. Two complaints: the heel material is very soft and allows small pebbles to embed. Minorly annoying. And the material used in the sole insert isn't as comfortable as in the Rockport Business Lite Bike Front - which is phenomenal. All in all I am very happy with the shoe. I give style and fit both 5 stars, and give performance 4 stars. I sized down to a 10.5, when I thought I was an 11; The last 3 pairs of shoes I bought, with the exception of the Rockport Business Lite Bike Front, have all been 10.5.

Shoe takes a short while to break in, but once they do they are very comfortable. It takes a short while, but if you have high arches it does break better than other shoes before the cap toe, not as many lines. This shoe stays very polished/shiny and I am very happy with it.
