Shoes for Prom - I realized I needed to order my son some shoes, as we have a hard time finding size 14 in the stores. I ordered the Bostonian Akron's from Zappos.com and they came the very next day!! My son says they are very comfortable -- didn't bind or pinch and were nice for the walking and dancing he did that night. They looked very sharp with his suit. He also wears them to church and likes them a lot.

Well made and looks great. My feet felt good even after 10 hours. Shoe arrived in 2 days. 5 stars for Zappos service!

Bostonian and Zappos - Perfect! I ordered this shoe from Zappos after my wife had a great experience with the company. I was a little leery but gave it a try. For the money you cannot beat this product. The fit was true to size. Very nice business shoe that looks and feel durable. Goes great with a nice business suit. The shoe is comfortable. I purchased the wide size and find it to be roomy. My feet feel fine while in them and I barely notice they are on. Overall a great shoe and great service from Zappos

Bostonian Akron - Shoe looks great and is surprisingly comfortable given the leather sole.

Good shoe looks great for work. The sole could be thicker as one tends to feel the ground a bit. But overall, well worth its price. The medium width fit my medium sized foot well. The shoe felt 1/4-1/2 inch larger than size 11.

I love these wish they made a wing tip - These shoes are a dream to wear once broke in. I am on my feet a good portion of the day and have to walk a lot outside for work. I can wear these all day and not have my feet hurt in the least when I get home after a 10+ hour day. I have had mine for almost a year and have already worn through the heels which I had replaced by an excellent shoe repairman, also had no slip soles put on them so I didn't eat through the leather soles. Other then that all I can say is GOD I LOVE THIS SHOE. Just wish Bostonian made a wing tip like this.

Great Shoe for any Professional - Fantastic. Most important--at the end of the day, my feet don't hurt and I sacrifice zero style. The flex sole thingy (technical term) is great.

Comfortable fitting - Most of my dress shoes are Bostonian. The Akron is one of the many Bostonian shoes that I own. They are so comfortable that I keep a stock of them at home. I can wear them all day and my feet never tire.

Great shoe!!! This is the second time that I had bought this type and brand of shoe. I loved the shoe so much that I bought the same again. The shoe lasted for many years, but nothing lasts forever.

Total Satisfaction! My purchase of a pair of Bostonian Akrons was my first experience in dealing with Zappos. All I can say in total sincerity is, if this is what I can expect in the future, Zappos has a new lifetime customer! These shoes are extremely well made, precisely true to size and width, and comfortable from the first stride. In total honesty, I can say that two employees in my company noticed and complimented me on their appearance the first day I wore them. I own and run a financial services company and my personal appearance is of crucial importance even here in laid-back Austin, Texas. I will never shop for another pair of shoes without checking first with Zappos.

Good shoe---takes time for your foot to adjust - I like the look of this shoe and, for the price, it is a good value. My only concern is that it took a couple weeks for the shoe to "break-in" my foot.

My favorite designed shoe, but sole change for the worse - I had a pair already. They are the cleanest dress shoe I know of. Shiny, without an oversize sole sticking out like grandpa shoes, a simple seam across the tops (nothing complicated). Also the heel is not cut too high, where it would rub your ankle, like some dress shoes. For my first pair, I had to try several from the brick-and-mortar department store before I found one that the heel felt smooth (I could feel a seam on some, and I did not want to walk on that all day). I also prefer the wide width, though my shoe size is only an 8.5 US. I bought .5 size bigger than normal because I like to use a Dr. Scholl's sole insert for added comfort (the workman's blue type, not the weak and foamy white dress type). However, Bostonian has changed the inner sole design from the one I bought a couple of years back. They added extra padding to the heel, carry it forward to the middle of the arch, and then it ends! It has a seam right across the arch that is annoying. I bought two pairs, and they are identical. I will keep one, and use an extra 1/2 in the front to hopefully address the problem. The extra pair is going back. Zappos makes that real easy and gives you a year to do it (as long as you wear it on a carpet). I don't expect to find a design I prefer to the Akron, so I'll make it work.

Excellent Service - This was the first time I used Zappos.com and I must say I am very impressed. I placed my order online at 3pm with free shipping, the shoes arrived to my Connecticut address the next morning by 10am! Great shoes, great service.

Whoaaa, I can't believe it! I ordered shoes last night at around 10pm eastern time, and just received the shoes this evening--7pm eastern time! This is the best Internet service I have EVER heard of. I am a first time customer of Zappos, and have been left quite impressed. I will recommend this site to every one I know! This site was highly recommended to my wife by a co-worker. This is the first time I have ever ordered clothing or shoes online. It is so much more convenient than the hassles you encounter at the malls! Oh yeah, and the shoes fit and feel great!!!

First Pair of Bostonian's - I have trouble getting a narrow in dress shoes. I have worn Florshein s for years and have a number od them now. When they fit they are generally good. The past month I tried two pairs and both were too wide. These Bostonian Akrons fit true in size and width(Narrow). Great looking shoe. Had good leather and shine. I will try others I am sure. Zappos has the best service of any company I have done business with. Just two weeks ago I sent a pair of shoes back to Nordstroms. Their service was not even close to Zappos. Keep up the good work. A satisfied long time customer.
