Bought these in August of last year to wear as a cute cold-weather alternative to snow boots. They're adorable and very comfortable- however after half a year of casual wear the sole is splitting from the rest of the shoe making them no longer waterproof. I'm usually very impressed by Sperry's quality, my boat shoes have lasted me 5+ years now, but these shoes were not worth the price.

Really disappointed. Some of my daughters friends had these boots in college. Was tops on her Christmas list. Bought them for her to wear in the snow. She hadn't worn them, till today. Had the first snow- 2 inches, yesterday. She wore them for the first time today. College sidewalks and streets plowed. Just water from melted snow on sidewalks. She called and said her boots were wet inside, the liner along with her socks and feet. Love the zipper on the side for easy access. I wanted a pair too, but too much money not to be waterproof.

When I bought these they were comfortable, fit true to size, and definitely waterproof - just what I needed. They were fantastic for rain, snow, and cold days until the lining around the heel fell apart after only 6 months of wear; about half of the lining is worn off on both boots now. Without the lining, the top margin of the rubber cuts into the back of my heels terribly. I keep reaching for them on rainy days because they still keep my feet dry, however I'm always in pain after about a 5 minute walk and continue to be disappointed in how little wear these boots had for the price.

Loved these boots at first and wore them all the time! However, I've had multiple issues with damage to the boots. The stitching on the side of the shoe busted after wearing them once, though this was only a stylistic issue and I ignored it. A year after buying them, I'm considering buying L.L. Bean's boots because the heels on my Sperry's is completely destroyed. Water seeps into the heel and doesn't go away, so I feel like I'm stepping on bags of water all day. The worst, however, is the cracks in the rubber shoe box that makes my feet cold and lets water get in. Don't buy these unless you want to buy a new pair every year!

I bought these boots less then a year ago, but they already have a hole in them. They're such a cute boot and i'm devastated that already have a hole in them. However, I did buy them a while ago so the quality could have been improved by now.

I loved Those duck boots at first sight, but time proved they can not be relied on. I have had them for 1/12 year.and after only a year of wearing them only in winter, the heels started to wear off. There are holes under both heels and the sides are simply drying up, cracking and opening up where the sole and the boot meet. I went to see a shoe repair, but he told me there was nothing he could do because the whole boot was cracking up. I must say I am really sad about this. The look is great, you should try to improve the durability.

I bought a pair of these in September and LOVED them, they were and still are comfortable and warm. However it's now January and the treads are already wearing out, which makes them practically useless in any wet weather, especially snow and ice. I slip all over the place, so these guys will live in my closet. I wanted to invest in some good hiking/all weather boots and am disappointed by these. If you want boots you can wear longer than one season, don't get these.

This shoe was very comfortable to wear which was the selling factor for me. But does not serve its purpose. It is not suitable to wear during rain as your the water gets inside. Similarly not suitable for snow as well. Disappointed with the product.

I like these boots. Theyre very cute and comfortable. However I wore these today and I fell because they kept slipping on water.

I was excited to bust these boots out to walk around the city, post first-snow, after buying them a couple of months back, but was disappointed to discover that my toes became (very quickly) unbearably cold.

I bought these boots last fall and loved them! They are very cute, comfy and warm. However, after wearing them a couple of times this fall I've noticed that the rubber bottom half is starting to crack, like they are dry rotting! They aren't even a year old and spent the majority of that time stored inside in a closet. They were very cute but now they look awful and will be thrown away :( very disappointing.

I received these boots as a Christmas gift last year and I loved them! Unfortunately after wearing them for one season, the rubber started to crack/separate from bottom of shoe, thus causing my left foot to get wet in rainy conditions. I am disappointed because I love this brand, but know my family member spent a lot of money on them for something that did not stand up to its durability or quality as stated in description. Very disappointed.

I purchased some of these because of the good reviews I had heard about it and the quality of the products. Unfortunately I am very upset that when I used them for what they are made for, the rain, the water went through them. Not worth the price. Want a refund.

It's a good boot for areas that have a dry climate in the fall/winter with the occasional, light rain but not quite for Washington. It's durable but not as waterproof as I hoped it would be (got my toes and socks soaked walking around in puddles). :( I would size down if you want to wear thin socks or half a size down if you want to wear thick wool socks (I wear an 8 but could've gotten a 7.5 as I still have room even with my thickest socks on). Wish I could return the boot but too late! Absolutely love the style and comfort though!

I love love loved these boots - I got them about 2 years ago and within the last year they have slowly started to fall apart...the seams are all apart and let water in...for a high end brand...it was disappointing this would happen after only a year of sporadically wearing them. But they are cute and comfortable - just not durable!

I bought these shoes to wear for stylish use during the Midwest winters. Unfortunately, these boots didn't last me through one winter. I noticed that my sock was getting wet when walking through snow or puddles. Looking closer, I discovered that the rubber sole had separated from the rubber covering my toes. I took them in to be repaired but the store is unable to fix this kind of break. I am extremely disappointed that I invested in a pair of boots that did not stand up to their boasted durability.

Had these shoes not even 6 months when they started to rip on the sides. They're very cute, but they're useless in the rain.

I bought these to hike in the Lake district. For damp soft walks in the fields the shoes were fine. On rocky surfaces it was not at all comfortable. The suede shoe laces were not conducive to staying tied. I will probably not wear these shoes again.

I was so excited whenI purchased my duck boots, finally a rain boot that wasn't so stiff and looked cute. I wore them on rainy or slushy days, they did wonders keeping my feet dry. That is until one very rainy day walking to class on a rocky path I step in a puddle, all of a sudden my foot is soaking wet. My boot had a huge splice in it, presumably from stepping on a rock. I had these boots less than 8 months before this incident and they were fine but if youre going to be on a rocky path spend the extra money and go with a company that will have more durable rubber on the shoe or replace your boots if they rip.

THe boots have a great look & are really comfortable but after the 2nd wear in heavy raIn, my foot was wet. It was letting water in at the seems where the bottom rubber meets the sides. I really loVed the boots until my feet got wet.

I was really excited when I purchased these boots- they looked really cute, were waterproof/warm, and fit me nicely. They were a little on the pricy side, but I figured that the quality I would be getting from the Sperry brand was worth it, especially since I go to college in upstate NY and need a solid pair of boots that can hold up in the snowy winters we get here. Unfortunately, these boots were LITERALLY falling apart after just one winter. The soles were completely ripping off the back and had separated some in the front, so they were barely wearable, let alone waterproof or warm. For reference, I attend a very small school where my average walk to class from my residence hall takes 2-3 minutes, so these boots were not taking unusual amounts of wear and tear by any standard. I wondered if maybe my pair was defective, but my friend had a similar story and reading other reviews on this site has confirmed that, unfortunately, these boots just aren't up to the typical Sperry standard. If the quality were to improve, I would absolutely love these boots, but for now, all I can say is don't expect them to last you more than a year.

I thought these boots were super cute and was super excited when I bought them. However, after only 2 years of use the rubber waterproof part of the boot has cracked in 2 places on both of my boots allowing for water to get in. As a college student I often times walk to class in rain and snow. I was disappointed that the boots only lasted for 2 winters.

I absolutely loved these boots when I first bought them- they are both stylish and practical. However, only two winters later and they are already splitting along the sole and as a result are no longer waterproof. As a college student in the Midwest I need my boots to be weatherproof for the rain and snow. I would not recommend buying these as they are not durable.

I first bought these for my daughter a couple of years ago. She loved them, very cute and comfortable. But they split at the side within a year. Because she did really love them, and she has a very small foot which makes it hard to find her size, I bought a second pair hoping that it was an anomaly. Less than a year, and the new pair have split. So although she loved them while they lasted, I can't recommend them due to the poor quality.
