I got my sperry boots as a Christmas gift and the first day I started wearing them the shiny part started to peel and got very easily scuffed. They are also really hard to clean off. Some of the people I know have them too ask theirs don't do what mine did...

Really looked forward to receiving these, expecting they would meet my need for a cold-weather rain boot for a long time to come. I ordered my regular size, but find they are too big, even when worn with heavy socks. Sorry to say, I'm disappointed and regret not testing them INSIDE before wearing them OUTSIDE.

I hate to write a negative review about these boots because they are super cute and very comfortable but I am very disappointed because I bought these to wear in the snow and rain, I only wore them about a dozen times last season and when I pulled them out to wear this season, the zipper is almost like it's rusty and it is very difficult to zip up and down :(

I purchased these in the brown/olive color combo and love the fit and the look. Unfortunately, if you're looking for something that will keep your feet dry in the rain - these are not the boots. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the production of this particular color combo but the tops of my socks are constantly wet right where the olive textured canvas meets the rubber part of the boot. I think its water coming in through the seams at that particular spot and occurs in both shoes. I'd opt for a different boot if you're looking for something to keep your feet dry. Unfortunately I'm stuck with these and wet socks.

Bought these same day as the Sorel. In comparison, the Sorrel’s has some arch support, where these had none. I also felt no cushion. I could tell instantly they were too wide in the toe box. Good fit on heel. Good length. I usually wear an 8-8.5 in dress shoes, and a 9-9.5 in boots and athletic shoes. I ordered the 9. Length was good. Even with warm socks, these would have felt slopppy in the toe. And I could tell instantly
They wouldn’t be warm enough for Ohio fall, wet weather. I was looking for adequate footwear for rain and down to about 20 degrees.

After ordering a 9.5 W initially it was too wide so I asked to go to a 9M and the rep suggested I get a 9.5 M. Just got them today and unfortunately they don’t fit ...even with thick wool socks they are still too big. I wear. 9.5 normally but a true 9M would have been the way to go but frustrated and so returning and getting my refund.

I normally wear a size 8 EE, so I took a chance and tried these in a size 8 W(C). They were too narrow and I had to return them. Nice looking boots, too bad they don't come in a true wide width.

I was excited when I saw they had the customizable version of these boots because I really wanted an all black boot. I've had these boots for two & a half months & they are basically useless as water seeps in up by the toe box. I'm really disappointed. They look great, but the quality is just not there for the amount of money you pay.

I LOVE the look and feel of these shoes. They don't have any arch support but they are still very comfortable and warmer than I expected based on some of the reviews I read. (My feet got HOT wearing them in 40 degree weather). Unfortunately the boots I received are NOT waterproof! I wore them in rain/slush for the first time today and my toes are soaked from where water seeped in through the seams in the front. I was walking on sidewalks that had maybe 2 inches of occasional slush, nothing extreme. I'm really disappointed and I'm hoping this was a random defect as opposed to the norm. I just contacted customer service through the website and I'm hoping they are helpful.

For boots have the word water in them these do pretty bad in the rain. The bottoms are pretty slick so you don’t have good traction on wet surfaces. My feet have slid and I’ve fallen a few times.

I ordered the boots and I initially loved them even though it didn't keep my feet warm I like how they looked and taht I could wear them I bathe rainy weather. I had these boots for two months and the bottom part came undone from the bottom part. Upon further examination of the boots I just saw a lot if loose strings and uneven material sewings. If the boot is suppose to be raw cut then I can live with that if it was stated in the description. Over all I don't think I'd buy these boots again.

I have owned these for two years now, and every day that it snows, I regret my purchase. These work great in the rain, and are very stylish, but the thick lining of the boot stops around the ankle, leaving your feet to only be insulated by a very thin fabric & rubber.
If you are intending to use these to walk through snow, know that your feet will be as cold as the snow you are walking in.
If you are purchasing for rain boots, I would recommend.

The tread becomes very slippery on wet ground. Seems to have lost its traction within days even though the tread doesn't look worn out. Also, they fit when I first got them, but they've gotten a whole size too loose within a week.

I love the classic look of these boots, and I was so excited when I first bought them, and through the first few months of wear.
After wearing them consistently through one Portland winter (mostly rain with a couple days of snow), the soles had lost a lot of their tread. Since the heel of the shoe is actually hollow, rather than a solid rubber heel, when they wore down there were holes that let water come through. This meant I could no longer wear them in the rain, which was really disappointing, and rendered them pretty useless for me.
For the price, and when the description promises that you can "traverse cold, rainy or rugged landscapes and embrace the elements," as well as boasting "long life," I really expected to last more than one season.

I've had these boots for a little over a year now and mostly wear them in the rain and snow and I have to say I'm very disappointed with how they hold up in the snow. As soon as I step into the snow my feet basically freeze and eventually go numb from being too cold. Love the style of the boots but not worth the price.

I love everything about this boot, except its waterproof claim. I received these boots for Christmas of Dec. 2017. I wore them a handful of times between then and March of this year. Primarily in snowy weather. I thought I had imagined having wet feet every time I used them in wet weather, however I pulled them out yesterday for the first snow of the season, and my feet were definitely wet when I took the boots off after walking around in the snow. It says right on the sewn in tag on my boots "waterproof rubber boot" My boots are definitely not waterproof. I don't know if I got a faulty pair, but I certainly expected better quality from Sperry and I am pretty disappointed in my pair of boots, especially as they were purchased specifically for wet weather situations. I have other pairs of Sperry shoes that have lasted me years, yet I've worn these boots maybe 8 times, if that, and they are leaking.

I bought these hoping they would last like my other Sperry shoes however I was wrong. I only got about 2 winters out of them and I did not think a heel could split until my foot was completely soaked. The boot started to crack along the side of the seam and I have two holes on the bottom on my boot. I love Sperry products therefore I was disappointed I only got about 5 months over the last two years out of them.

I bought a more expensive duck boot as well as these and decided to go with the other as the difference in quality (leather quality, lining and traction) was huge. At the very least I expected these to look good and they did not, they were big, clunky and cheap looking.

I bought these boots about 15 months ago and the rubber part tore open yesterday and separated from the sole. This seems like an extremely short shelf life for these boots. I own several other pairs of Sperry shoes (both boots and boat shoes) and have not experienced this poor quality before. I expect better quality from Sperry. Very disappointed.

I love these boots so much because they're cute and I always get compliments whenever I wear them!! However, my feet always get soaked if I wear them in the rain. I'm bummed about the quality, especially because this brand is typically top of the line when it comes to quality.

I bought these boots after reading all the great reviews and because they are super cute and trendy. However, after wearing them while tailgating outside in the rain, I realized my feet were freezing because they were wet. You would think duck boots would keep the water out but unfortantely, that was the case. Otherwise, a super cute boot just not made for the elements.

I have had these boots for less than year and I wear them probably once a month. The lining between the sole and side of the boot have ripped significantly on both of them. They are great style, but the quality was subpar at best.

I loved these boots, and I love Sperry, which is why it pains me to give these shoes a poor review. I bought them last spring for the rainy Seattle weather, and they were great for a while. Super comfortable and cute. But after a few months of regular wear, the treads wore down on the bottom making them extremely slippery. Then the rubber on the top began to crack, letting water in. So I can no longer wear these rain boots in the rain. I don't believe these boots are worth the price tag, and in my experience, despite looking and feeling great, they are not the durable, long-lasting boots described.
