Ghost Max 2 is my walking shoe from now on! I have plantar fasciitis in BOTH feet and these sneakers give me such a cushion to walk without any pain is a blessing. I bought 2 sneakers and not looking back!

The shoes were very nice and I loved the look but for some reason they didn't fit as well as other styles that I usually get. I returned them.

The insole of the wide vs extra wide was 1-2 millimeters only. Also run short. I wear a wide in other athletic running shoes but these were too small. The cushioning was great! But not a shoe for a wide high arch.

This is my 3rd pair of ghost max (1st of ghost max 2). I love the wide toe buzz. Very supportive and helps Stabilize my foot. I have arthritis and plantar fasciitis and these were the shoes that were recommended when I had my gait pattern analyzed at a local shoe store. I love them and can definitely tell when I wear something else. I work at a hospital and am constantly on my feet. They really help Curb the pain. I will never buy another style! Love them!

The shoe is very comfortable! But because the cushioning on the bottom, it doesnt support your ankles as well as the regular ghost shoes

I read many reviews before I decided to buy this shoe, but my experience with the shoe is not the same as most users. Wearing the shoe for about an hour or two walking or light gym workout is fine. I loved the shoes so I decided to take it with me for a week long vacation in which I had to city walk about 5 hours at a stretch, that is when the problem started for me. My ankle did not feel supported, and the shoes seemed to have loosened up. Tightening the laces more did not make a difference. My big toe and foot started to feel painful. Luckily I had another pair of shoes of a different brand that I was able to switch to. So unfortunately I will be returning this shoe.

Love the perfect combination of cushion and light stability. The fit is *mostly* comfortable. My only complaint is the toe box, lacking anatomical shape and the space needed for necessary toe mobility.

I upgraded from Ghost to Ghost Max last year for basketball officiating and the smooth ride was instantly noticeable. I bought Ghost Max 2 this year to officiate volleyball knowing they would have great cushioning, at nearly 70 years old thats a big need for me.

Ghost Max 2 is my first Brooks shoe, so I didnt know what to expect. I do not run, but I do intentional walking everyday. I have extra wide feet with a narrow heel, and the extra wide GM2 fits almost perfect, without much heel slippage. They feel cushiony, but supportive at the same time. At first the rocker bottom felt weird, but within a few minutes I barely noticed it. The shoes are fairly lightweight. I have painful knees and not able to wear shoes with 12mm heel to toe drop, but the 6mm drop of the GM2 works well. So far, I think the Ghost Max 2 is the best shoe Ive tried out. I believe I will be keeping them. I do recommend that others try it as well.

I was expecting so much more. I have the ghost max and love those. Also have the caldera 6 (awesome comfort). Ghost Max 2 lack the comfort I was expecting, also disappointed with the the base of the shoe, doesn't have the wide support. Just nit a fan of them

I bought the Pelican/Pelican/Black. I love the way they look and they were comfortable, but too big even though theyre in my normal size. I think they have a wide fit even though other reviewers called them narrow in comparison to the previous ghost max (which I didnt have). Final note, if like me your feet tend to overheat, this probably isnt the shoe for you because I found this to be an issue. If I only needed these for walking I wouldve kept them, but since this was supposed to be an outdoor running shoe for me I ultimately decided to return.

New favorite shoe! I have always gotten the regular ghost but wanted to try a little more cushion. After reading other reviews, I ordered up a half a size which was definitely perfect. I wore them around the house for a day to break them in and then ran a half marathon the next day with no issues.

I have been a Ghost wearing person for several years. I tried to switch to the glycerin (or however it is spelled) and hated them. The stitching on the tongue hurt the top Of my foot horribly. Came back and wanted the comfort of the ghost but more cushioned. So I bought these. I like the foot bed a lot. However I purchased the wide width and they still squeeze the ball of my foot pretty hard. The ghost 15s were perfect! I put them on and did 27,000 steps at Disney the same day. These definitely have a break in period since they hug your foot more than other ghost styles. But I do like the cushion on the bottom with each step.

Brooks changed the Ghost Max entirely. This isn't the same show as the Ghost Max 1. I am so dissapointed. While you did keep the cushion, the tow box is now small and uncomfortable. I had to return my Brooks, and I never had to do that before.
