I wear 4E. It is what my current shoes are. However these felt tight, narrow.

Comfort level is fine but there is minor rubbing on both my pinky toes.

Not bad for the money but they run small.

We love these shoes, they do run a little small and narrow, so at least a half size bigger would be recommended. They are comfortable for long days on your feet, but they are squeaky on certain floor types which can be annoying and sometimes embarrassing.

We were trying to find a pair of Nikes similar to the Air Definition which I’ve worn for several years, but this style Air Monarch IV, while similar in looks, is built with a curved last which is not suitable for flat feet or over pronation, We need a style made with a straighter last like the Air Definition which apparently is no longer available.. I was fortunate to have purchased 4 pairs of Air Definition before they became unavailable.. too bad they have discontinued making it, they are excellent sneakers. Can not wear the Air Monarch because it is too curved and causes pain on flat feet which overpronate.

Wish they had better arch support.

Lasted maybe 4 to 5 months not worn everyday.

While these shoes fit nicely and get the job done, the stitching is already coming apart after a week of wear. I guess you get what you pay for on some sites.

Please tell Nike to make cool grey and white color in xw width. I'll buy 10 pair I'm a size 11xw

I have been wearing Nike Air Monarch's since 2000. In the past they were the most comfortable & cushioned sneaker I have ever worn. My go to sneaker for workouts, shooting hoops, running, & walking. I recommended them to whoever would listen. Unfortunately in the last 7-10 yrs or so sneakers just aren't being made the same. Most are made in two parts with a seperate sole with the stupid, unecessary toe guard that's glued onto the upper portion of the shoe & they inevitably fall apart much sooner than they should. I had a pair of Air Monarchs in 2011 that last 5 yrs before they needed replacing. I can't say that about the latest version. Bought two pair thinking I was getting the same quality of my past Air Monarchs but ater two months (with alternating the pairs) I'm already seeing stiching around the two that's fraying as well as the shoe losing it's form in a couple of spots. Still love the design but the quality & comfort of the past are no longer there.

Fits great, nice style. After wearing for some months, now they squeak every time I am walking. Don't know wh, but beware...

Very comfortable but just a bit too bulky. These shoes are 50% larger in height and outside width than 4 other similar brands I ordered at the same time. They look like more like low cut boots than shoes.

Good value for the money but the toe box is very tight. I have worn a D width my whole life and these D width shoes are just barely long enough and tight in the toes. Hopefully they will break in after a month. If you need a wide toe box, look elsewhere.

I have also had issues with loud squeaking when I walk. The shoes are relatively comfortable and wear nicely, but the noise is rather a deal breaker for me. I'm going to be going with a different brand in future.

Although I have ordered this style and size in the past, these seem to be a bit narrow and tend to pinch my toes. I am wearing them in the hope that they will get "broken in" but I have never had to do that before.

They don't seem like the cushiony air soles of years past. I think Nike has cheapened the product for more profit. Still more comfortable than Adidas or other shoes.

I have owned numerous pairs of these comfortable fitting shoes. All squeaked after a couple of weeks. I decided to contact Nike directly about the issue. They said they needed to do tests on the shoes and would provide a refund if they were defective. So I suggest to all, if you love the shoes but they squeak, send them directly to Nike. Perhaps if they get enough of them in the mail they will realize there is a flaw and correct it. I love the shoes but the noise if irritating.

I love the shoes but experience the same annoying squeaking problem that everyone else does. And the right white shoe (only the right one) is turning blue. How do white leather shoes turn blue? But the shoes are very comfortable, just the right width and have been very durable so I put up with the problems. Nike -- can you please fix and you'll have the perfect shoe!

This is a beautiful Nike shoe. But there is a problem. I've had several pairs over the years. Often (too often) the right shoe start to squeak loudly a week after you start wearing it. Zappos is great and stands by their shoes. But you're better off with a different Nike product.

These are pretty good shoes for the price, but I have some downsides to share after 9 months of use. First, after a while, mine started squeaking and making noise which you will see referenced in other reviews. Second, the tongue feels a bit puffy to where I want to leave the laces really loose if sitting for long periods. For example, I just came back from Hawaii and on the flight there and back the tops of my feet started hurting so I took these shoes off. They definitely come off at home when lounging around. That said, I transitioned these into my primary walking shoes lately and have been walking about 15+ miles a week in them for a couple months. They feel good and have been holding up well. With the noise and other comfort issues, however, I'm going to try something else next time.

I have not bought Nikes in years. I seemed to remember they run small. They do. Significantly. As the shoes do not fit I will rate as 3s below. Hopefully the next pair will fit.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I was skeptical ordering shoes online but these shoes have been great. If I had one complaint (and it's a big one) it would be this...these are the loudest, squeakiest, crunchiest sounding shoes I have ever worn. I am in desperate need of shoes and have contemplated ordering another pair but they are annoying as hell. I couldn't sneak up on a corpse in these things. When I come walking people stop and look. No!

Ouch. They don't give and feel like hard plastic. They pinch the outsides of my little toes metatarsals. My big toes are right at the front. It seems like a half size bigger might work, but I don't think they'd breathe enough and be hot. And would remain stiff for a good long time.

I bought these for my son for work, and while he likes them they drive me crazy because they squeak. Loudly!

My husband loved these shoes from the moment he put them on. They were comfortable and fit well. He has worn them every day. He walks a lot at work. Unfortunately they have not held up as well as we would have hoped, but overall they are really good.
