Although these are probably the most comfortable shoes right out of the box, they are VERY slippery. Wish they would make a pair with not such a slippery bottom, as I don’t want to end up in the emergency room. So I cannot buy these anymore.

I find most of my Toms to be comfortable once they have stretched and molded to my feet. These are no different, the right shoe is a bit snug on the top of my foot but I’m hoping once they stretch out, it wound be a problem.

I'm a fan of wearing TOMS since they're comfortable, easy to put on/take off, and goes well with most outfits. The trouble with the pair of black ones is that over time the fabric seems to build up a white-ish residue, which has been difficult to clean/remove, making the shoes look super worn out.

Others recommended to go half a size down but I should’ve got with the usual size I wear. I have wider feet so the fit wasn’t great. I was able to break it down but it wasn’t comfortable.

I usually wear a size 8 but because the width on these shoes were a medium I ordered a size up.They show was really wide and the length was much longer than other size 8.5's I have tried in other brands. I am returning them. The sole on the classic Tom's is the thinnest they make I had hoped that the sole would have been more flexible.

Unfortunately these don't work for me. I have a wide toe box and a narrow heel. These slip off of my heel and feel too narrow in the toe box. They were also too long. I am usually 7.5-8. I ordered 7.5 and they were still too long in the toes. These are being returned and my search for the perfect canvas flats continues. Thank you, Zappos for the wonderful customer service.

I have been wearing Toms for several years. They are easy to slip on and are very light and easy to pack, making them especially good casual summer shoes. I am particularly fond of this shoe because of its dark sole. My shoe size ranges from an 8.5 to a 9. I wear an 8.5 in Toms.

I love Toms! I wear mostly an 8.5 but bought the 9 so I wouldn't have to break them in. I have a high arch and my old Toms took a little while to feel super comfortable. The 9 is great, but the material is a little stiffer than the older models. Nonetheless, they're great and look cute with skirts, dresses, jeans or shorts. You can really dress them up or down.

I had to size down by a half size, from an 8 to a 7.5. Normally I'm an 8 but there was too much room in the front of the shoe. The 7.5 had the perfect amount of room. Unfortunately, there was a hard/irritating nylon thread poking inside the top of one of the shoes so they had to be returned. A flaw, not typical with this shoe.

These were a little tight around my toes in my usual size, but they were also a little too big in a half size up. These are cute shoes otherwise and I would recommend. They are comfy and work well for my profession as a physical therapist

I love the style of this shoe, it can be dressed down or up. I did have trouble with the sizing. A 9 was way too small and the 9.5 is a tad too big. Even though the canvas will stretch, there was no way it would stretch as much as I needed and I do not have wide feet. I kept the 9.5 and have worn them the past few days, no slippage even though they are a tad big, they just feel roomy.

I usually wear a 7 1/2 in sandals or shoes that are worn without socks. After reading the reviews, everyone talked about ordering a half size up so I followed suit. After wearing them for two days, I feel like they may stretch out over time. Since it’s still winter in WI, my feet haven’t been put to the test of heat and swelling so I hope they don’t stretch too much.
I bought these hoping to find a good shoe for travel, festivals, day trips, etc. I have super high arches so I need a comfortable flat that offers some support. These are already proving to be way more comfortable than I expected. My only concern is traction. The sole is a soft, slippery material that will be great for dry weather. Not sure how well they will do in rain or in a damp environment.

Shoes are very flat, but comfortable, so far. No arch support, but I knew that when I bought them. Nice for gunning errands, going shopping. Cute style, but really doesn’t need the large Tom’s tag on the back of the shoe, there’s a tag on the side that is smaller and really enough.

The Tom's shoe was as advertised with classic style and comfort. It was, however, too small. We had to exchange for a half size larger. Zappos returns are free but still an inconvenience. They should either improve sizing or caution people to size up.
