Based on other reviews, I bought up a half size. I also plan to wear a thicker sock. I think this will work well for its intended purpose. The arch support sets a bit further forward instead of the center of the arch and provides minimal support.

These are the first pair of TOMS that have rubbed blisters on my heels. I own 25 pairs. I have never had this issue. I still love the shoes just wondering it something changed?

VERY cute, very spooky. I bought 2 pairs of TOMS, both same size, but this pair feels very tight around the heels. Worn without socks, they cut my heels pretty nicely :/ no issue with other shoes.

I love the ghost design on these alpargatas. I do wish the glow-in-the-dark feature worked without having to shine a strong flashlight directly on the shoes. And they're super comfortable, but of course they are - all Tom's alpargatas are super comfortable.

Gold stars on white -- can be worn spring, summer, fall, and goes with just about any color or style clothing. Only problem is, I wear a 12N, purchased 12M, and as usual, I wash them in machine, dry in dryer, and they shrink to fit. Only these didn't! May have to wash and dry again and hope I don't lose the gold.

I like the hummingbirds pattern, it is very beautiful, runs a little bit large for me but I will use an insole, otherwise love them

The fit was roomy - a tad too big to wear without socks. Without socks, the heel was too loose to keep my foot from rising out of the shoe which can cause a sore spot on the back of my ankle. I’ll wear them with socks to see if they’ll soften up a bit o eventually wear barefoot in the warmer weather. They’re well made so worth the extra steps.

So I have problem feet, bunions, high arches, blister-prone everywhere, and toes that hate to be squeezed or otherwise touched really...and these shoes are so soft, flexible and really a spot-on 7.5 but they still have taken me 2 weeks of indoor wear, for very short periods, to get through the blister phase. The right shoe especially seems challenging. It's that the back of the shoe comes up a centimeter or 2 too high and it rubs! I want to be able to wear these in the summer without socks, so I stuck it out. Now I think I have a cute little summer shoe that I'll wear when I'm not wearing my favorite birkenstock flip flops. But it took work, and I'm afraid I'll have to go through the same process next year when I stop wearing them during the cold months.
