This is a really great shoe but unfortunately my troubled feet did not like the left shoe. The right was perfect, the left a little too narrow and rubbed against a bunion. Unfortunately they are being returned but if bunions aren't an issue they would have been perfect.

I ordered the 7-1/2 M which was a good overall fit. I have high arches, high instep, wide footbed, narrow heal. However, I have arthritis in my big left toe and the top of this shoe hits just at the worst spot possible, causing pain. The Taos Footwear Detour is ADORABLE and I tried to make it work, but it just hurts the top of my left foot too much.

The shoe was a bit too wide for my narrow feet. Also, I did not like the "terry" lining. However, it is a quality, well made shoe.
