I have four pair of the Dynama bermudas, and two pair of the high rise bermudas. They are my favorite shorts, especially for my three mile daily walk. Enough pockets and space to not have to carry a fanny pack or anything. They are super soft, super light, super four way stretchy. Sizing is generous. I like them quite loose, so I wear XL at 5’4” and 165. I could easily wear size L. They almost touch my knees. I’m apple shaped senior, and love that they tick every box and are serious outdoor shorts. The Daze color is really pretty.

This shorts are extremely comfortable and fit well. I was excited to add them to my summer hiking gear. Despite their comfort, however, I cannot recommend them for hiking or other outdoor adventures. The fabric simply isn’t durable enough. After wearing them less than 4-5 times hiking, the fabric is pilling and snagged. In the backcountry, one often sits on rocks, the ground or tree logs, or has to slide past pointy rocks or prickly branches. These simply aren’t fit for purpose, which is surprising from Mountain Hardwear.
