Nice length and material. Very comfortable, washes well. I ordered a small and an extra small. The small was too big, especially in the hip and thigh. I liked them so much that I ordered the Dynama pants which are very nice; the choice of length for the pants is a plus. I am 5'5'', 103 lbs, extra small in both with a regular length in the pants is perfect.

True to size, but tight across the chest (5’2”, 135lb, 36C). I like the subtle pattern; it will go well with a variety of tops and bottoms.

These are super comfortable, but unflattering in back — the pockets are too low and too far apart, making my butt look low-slung and wide. :-)

Note to self: Read the reviews before buying. These shorts run really small! I think it's mainly due to the short zipper. I usually wear a 2 or 4 and ordered these in a 4. The waist seems to be the right size, but because of the short zipper (smaller opening) I can't even get them over my hips. This is what other reviewers have noted as well. I'm trying to decide if I will try a 6 or just let them go.

The design fell a bit short for me: the mystic purple color is just basic beige. The way the front layers overlap is a bit awkward - they don't drape at the top and just stick out along the neck line and rub your chin. A nightmare if you wear make up.

My favorite pant for rock climbing outdoors, especially in hot and humid climates. Very comfortable and lightweight. They pack easily and travel well. The fabric is more durable than I expected and the adjustable leg comes in very handy. I rolled mine up above the knee for a breezier hike in and out!

I usually wear size 4 so the small fits perfectly. Great material, has some stretch to it, lightweight, breathable, and cool to wear during hot summer days. Doesn't wrinkle so great for travel or multiple wearing days. Love the just above the knee a bit. Legs are not too wide like some longer shorts so they make your legs actually look slimmer. I was worried I wouldn't like the wider waistband but it is actually very comfortable. And like all Mountain Hardwear products, very good quality. Worth the price. I just ordered my 2nd pair!

i usually wear between an 8 to a 10. i couldn't even get these 14s. not sure what to tell as far as what size to get, because i just gave up and returned them. as for length, 33 fits me best and i have to say these are probably somewhere between a 30 and 31, even tho the sizing says 32. also, they have such little stretch, that they do not stretch at all. just looking at them in the box i decided i didn't like them. but i put them on just in case they were a miracle. don't waste your time unless you know what you are getting yourself into.

This is a soft, well made hoodie in a cute olive color. It is lined inside with a cozy fleece fabric that isn't too thick. The jacket is lightweight enough to stuff in a backpack if you start getting too warm. I'm 5'5" and 109 and the small fit perfectly. The pockets zip, and the bottom cinches in if needed. It falls just below the hips & is a little bit longer in the back.

I've had this a few years now and have used it on a variety of trips. It's a good size...small enough for me (Male) on day hikes but also not so large that my wife couldn't wear it as well. She used it on our hike up to Nevada and Vernal falls at Yosemite last year and she said it was very comfortable. it wasn't over loaded but she did have two liter bottles of water full up on the way up an said it was relatively comfortable even without a waste harness. Note: it does have a waste strap but it's not really weight baring...more for stability.

I really wanted to like this pack. The overall organization was fine, but the zippers turned me off. They're just not sturdy enough for the wear and tear that I expect from my backpacks. Would buy this with different zips and sturdier zipper pulls.

I wear size 10-12 in pants and the large fits good- some room to breathe. A medium may fit but I think it would be too tight for a comfortable short. The length is good on my long legs too. I really like wide waistbands with tank tops and t-shirts since there are less "folds" when I sit. Very cool in during our Florida heat.

I'm an avid outdoors person and these are perfect for hiking and climbing. As other's mentioned, the inseam choices are great since I returned the reg length for short. Of course Zappos is the best for returns (Thank you Zappos). One of the best features of this lightweight pant is that there is no tie or zipper so works really well under a harness and no hassels when wearing them hiking or just around. Also, super cute when cinched up.

Length works well (5'-1" hits me a hair above the ankle bone), good fit overall. A little tight around the calves for athletic wear, but the fabric moves well with you, very comfortable overall. Zippered pocket is a plus. Crotch looks a little weird (not so noticeable in black, but lighter colors definitely a stylistic choice) - was actually interested in the potential use of what appeared to be an open fly when "nature calls" when out in nature (especially if in a harness climbing), but seems totally sewn shut so crotch is not actually a crotch... bummer. Still well-cut pants comfortable and move with you. Time will tell if waterresistant and durable, but keepers for me!

My quest is for pants that are lightweight and quick-dry for travel; I was especially hoping for something that would be convertible for super-minimalist packing. I ordered Prana, Marmot, and Mountain Hardwear. Along the lines of a previous comparative review that I found helpful, I will paste this same review on each style I purchased. Prana Halle: i like the idea of the waist drawstring to help take up the gap in the back, but in practice (just from trying on) am not convinced i've figured out how to make that work. as a result, the much vaunted flattering fit does not flatter on me. the thigh zip pocket does fit a passport (US or EU). front pockets too shallow for real use. my calves would presumably get used to having the inside dangling straps ready to roll up to capris, though they are disconcerting at first. Prana Halle Convertible: basically same pant, but with zip-off legs instead of roll-up. i wish the zip were above the knee rather than below, though i suppose one could roll them up from there. or, wish they didn't seem to flare out at the calf when zipped off. simple to zip on/off (some brands have finicky zippers; possibly relevant that this one's got slightly coarser teeth?), and the facings on both sides of the zipper still lie flat enough to not annoy. Marmot Lobo's Convertible: i LOVE that these can do long pants + capris + shorts. front pockets are big enough to use! R thigh zip pocket is big enough for my minimalist wallet. rear pockets secure with a a little rectangle of velcro, so they're low-profile with no pocket flap but also there's a bit of raw velcro to guard fine fabrics from. waistband a better fit for me than Prana, with less gap in the back. thigh zipper line does feel noticeable at first when sitting, less when standing. a little tricky to get zipper started to zip legs back on; for me it seems easier when standing. elastic loops a bit tight for the capri buttoning; i expect they relax a little and/or you get used to them. the fabric does rustle a bit when you move, and on me the joints of the zippered facings swish against each other a little when i walk. Mountain Hardwear Dynama Pant: love the light weight of the fabric, comfortable stretch waistband. the nylon seems prone to static? at least here in the tail end of New England winter. have read other reports that this fabric pills fast and is not durable; hoping to escape that with just casual wear.
