this is a nice-looking flat casual shoe. the color is a nice neutral to make wearing it easier to match with different outlets. although the shoes seem well-made, I had to return them. I normally wear a 7 or 7.5, and my feet are borderline wide. Because of the shape of the toe box, I ordered size 7.5 Wide. They didn't feel wide. They felt like a medium width, so this style must run narrow. When I tried them on I had on a light sock, and the shoes felt too snug both width-wise and at the top of the foot. Since I have bony feet, I didn't think they'd be comfortable at all for walking any distance so decided to return them.

Originally, I ordered my normal size, 7.5W, but they were too small and too tight at the widest part of the foot. I ordered up a half size, in the hopes that a larger size might fit. The size 8W were the same as the 7.5W. The toe box is especially narrow and uncomfortably tight across the widest part of the foot. I'm not sure what metric Eastland uses to gauge wide-width, but these are the narrowest wide-width shoes I've ever encountered.

I ordered a 7.5 wide and was surprised to find that the shoe was too short for my size 7.5 foot. Also, I found myself checking both the box and the shoe to make sure it was a wide width, because it looked and felt like a regular-width shoe. I returned the 7.5 and ordered a size 8W and 8.5W to make sure the fit is only off by half a size.
