i've had these for months and have worn then dozens and dozens of times and they still are no more broken in today than the first day and cut the back of your heel. if you wear boat shoes with socks this might not be an issue for you but to me the point of boat shoes are to wear without socks and near the water.... hence boat shoe. These are also just not comfortable in any way beyond the heel irritations.

Splurged on these because my Massimo Matteo driving mocs fell apart after 6 months. These seem to be much better quality and are cute, too. I have a narrow foot and these shoes seem to be a wee bit wider than other B widths that I have purchased. Not too wide to be a problem, however. Love them! Just keep in mind these are driving mocs and don't have a lot of support for extended walking.

I have a brown suede pair of Eastland Daily Doubles that I found at a discount chain store for $40 and I love them. Very comfortable and sturdy boots, and wide enough to accommodate insulated socks in the winter. They're starting to look a little worn out now after several years, so I came here to see if I could find another pair of them in the suede leather. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that they are.

Very comfortable, but they do not seem highly durable. These are great boots for style. For work boots, they should hold up ok for light duty, but probably won’t last very long for heavy duty. Even still, they are a great buy for the price.

This review is only after wearing these for a few walks. The other reviews helped inform my purchase, and it's good to understand that these might not be heirloom boots, nor are they full-blown logging or construction boots. I've worn Blundstones for years because they are light, versatile, and can be worn year-round here in the Northeast, so I bought these to behave similarly, and for some slight, er, fashion reprieve. Three years in on my current pair of Blundstones with almost daily vigorous use, so I've got high hopes for these boots. These are light shoes really, versatile, and meet my general test of "can you run in these if needed". The box toe is super comfortable, and I hope the light uppers break in more, and with the squishy sole, these really are like slippers. They look good too, mine are black, or rather it's a bluish black. One caveat, in case you've never had this sole, these shoes have zero traction and you will wipe out if you're not aware walking on snow or ice. On the flip side, a few swipes on a door mat and they won't track anything inside (part of the reason for blundstones is quick on/off, this is another solution to that perennial problem of going in and out constantly). We shall see, but for the price I think these are pretty good boots, ideally the kind that will soon look good and secretly feel like slippers.

The memory foam insoles add a lot of comfort right from the first wearing. Shoes are breaking in quite easily - the leather is excellent quality and not stiff or uncomfortable. The quality of manufacture is first rate and I have worn Sperry and Sebago many times in the last 50 years of wearing boat shoes. I am very satisfied so far. I am impressed and glad that I bought them. Service from Zappos was excellent.

Good casual boot. The wide seemed wide enough but may need a bit of break in to be comfortable. The leather should stretch just fine after a few hours around the house. Feels like a firm moccasin but more dressy.

I liked the style and they fit ok (maybe a half size too big) but unfortunately the sole of the pair I received were not properly glued in the front and there was an unglued gap between the welt and the sole. I think they would have had a stitching failure once dirt started getting packed in the gap. They were a little stiff and would have taken a week or two to get broken in and comfortable.

I bought this plus 4 other pairs and found that the CATERPILLAR SECOND SHIFT WIDE/LARGE the best. FWIW, I bought everything available up to $150 a pair in my size, WIDE. EASTLAND LUMBER UP was my number 2 in comfort... But its sole is too smooth, and I'm in rural Maine. Looks good, feels great, and i tested the SHANK by standing on a 2x2 for a while... as i work on ladders a lot. If I wanted brown boots to walk around in especially in non-rural settings, them i would buy these. Highly recommend. Others includes Rocky Treadflex - best with protective toe!, Then Carolina 5" Composite Toe Hiker, Ariat Rebar Flex 6" H20 Comp Toe

I could not get the boot on. The opening is too small for my foot. I have high insteps and I just could not get my foot into the opening without damaging the shoe or my foot. Had to return them.
