Jjj I love these boots. This is my second pair. I enjoyed them so much, I wore them nearly every day since they arrived. They broke in rather quickly and were very comfortable. I would say that the only downside to these boots is that they lack a tread and can slip on wet, smooth surfaces. I completely understand the tread design and will deal with this just so I can enjoy this next pair. I am considering bringing the old pair to a boot repair shop and having them resoled and some of the stitching fixed. The more I wore the boots, the better they looked. I applied mink oil liberally once a week or so and they always looked sharp. For the price, fit, look and durability, a pair of these Eastland’s will always be in my closet. Brendan R.

Overall they are ok but they did feel slightly larger than they should.

Nice looking boot. Order a half size down. I am a size 12, I went with 11.5. comfortable straight out of box. These are not made in Americ Eastlands but still seem to be well built. Come with vibram soles. They are new so we will see about durability of leather and sole. Good looking boot at this price.

Bought these for my husband and he loves them. It's very hard for him to find comfortable shoes. They look fantastic, and are very well made. We are both very happy with the purchase!

Good moc. Solid, well made wardrobe staple. More on the casual side but that’s what I needed it to be. Looks good with khaki shorts.

I like these boots, I've had them for about a year. I agree with previous comments that the leather scuffs easily, but I wanted boots that would look rugged/broken in. I still get compliments on these and people asking where I bought them

Fit is good, but I can't get them on without a shoehorn. Padded insole provides a soft, cushioned feeling when walking.

This shoes run very small, they have such a narrow toebox. They are made of real leather, but there is no liner at all. The stitching protrudes inwards so much that it digs on the side of you foot. very designed.. much reduced.. such wow

Very well-made and great for a business casual environment. The wide width sizes are very comfortable, but they get a little narrow toward the toes.

These are an outstanding value and look great. Very simple but elegant, not clunky or chunky. My husband (size 11) kept them though he said they were slightly narrow towards the toes. He was wearing cushioned socks when he tried them on and thought he'd wear dress socks so they'd be fine.

The leather is quite soft and stretches out with wear. After a week of wearing them, one of the pull tabs tore off. After 2 weeks they've received a lot of nicks and scratches from walking about town.

Overall: I feel these are a 5/5 for me and my style. They fit very well in size 10D for my foot shape/size. The leather is high quality horween leather, and they are made here in the USA. The overall craftsmanship in these shoes is excellent. They feel sturdy, robust and resilient. No defects in the shoes I received. Pairs great with both light & dark denim, chinos, and shorts to suit spring, summer & fall weather. Comfort: The way they designed the insole provides arch support on both sides of your feet and they are very comfortable. They may not appear as such, but they make an excellent walking shoe. I am able to be on my feet most of the day in these shoes and have no discomfort. Break in time was about 3-4 days for me. The sole is sturdy rubber that grips well to every surface I've walked on so far including tile, hard wood, carpet, asphalt, cement, and more. 10D is the perfect size for my feet. I wear 10.5D in sperry, 9 medium in red wing boots, and 9.5D in cole haan oxfords. My toes have enough room to wiggle and the heal does not slip at all. Mine are slightly narrower than a true D but that could be due to the way the lacing is traced through the part of the shoe that goes over the middle part of your foot, it kind of pinches the sides of the shoe in when you pull them through. I'll have to experiment to see what works best for that, but it does not affect the comfort, only the fit narrows slightly. Style: A slight tick up from pure casual from my perspective. The moc style leather shoe lace and boat style wrap around create a nice blend of business casual or dine out casual. I wouldn't meet clients in these shoes, but I wear them to the office (business casual operations environment). They pair very well with denim, shorts and chinos. Not formal enough for formal events. I feel they are a slight step up from boat shoes in formality, but only very slightly.

Nice style shoe for the price, however they were super stiff and not very comfy. Seemed as if Eastland quality isn’t what it used to be. Had to send back

So I really want to like these boots, but there are some serious quality control issues with Eastland's chinese suppliers. First up, I've handled 4 pairs of these boots now and 3 of them have been defective... Apparently there is a common issue with the rivet on the top lugs. 2 of the 4 pairs had a bad strike and the lug pops out the moment you pull the laces tight. Also, something to watch out for, the lace loop on the tongue is stitched oddly. They sew the top of the loop first and then fold it over the stitch and then sew the bottom on. The downside of this is if you pull the laces up towards your self you'll rip through the leather. Pull the laces sideways to avoid doing so... Another issue is that in one of the pairs they used the wrong size insole. They put an 11 insole in a 11.5 boot. The size was dead on for me. These boots fit like a glove at 11.5. The insole, when the right size, is comfy. And the boot has a nice style. A good blend between dress boot and everyday boot. I just wish the manufacturer wouldn't let so many bad shoes slip through. Zappos support was amazing though. Wish I could rate them separately.

Finally after 5 months found this shoe but not in my size 13D. They only had 13EE. I ordered it and thank goodness I got that size fit perfectly. The D would have been to tight. Shoe is fantastic. Well made, soft, durable and light. Really like it.

First let me say I really like these shoes. When I received these shoes I was very disappointed with the color. I was expecting an olive color, what I received was more of a brown color with a very slight hint of olive. I decided to keep them because I needed a pair of brown shoes anyway. I ended up buying a different pair of shoes that had more of an olive color from Zappos. I’m very happy with both pairs of shoes.

Good boot that be used an everyday type of fall/dry winter wear. Comfy and decently stylish. It's like a boot/boat shoe combo but a little more on the rugged/utility side. The strap on the back can jam your pants if you have a skinny or ankle-fit cut, so it somewhat prevents a natural fall of the pant over the back of shoe. I ordered a 10.5 but I almost always wear thicker socks with these and they do fit well with those. If I were were to thinner, dress shocks with these normally, I'd get a 10. I wear theses every day to bike in if it's dry. I put a warrant repellent spay and it seems to have helped in wet weather, but I wouldn't wear these in a down pour.
