I wear a 9M and bought the same. I have high arches and narrow heels. These boots flopped around on my heels with every step.

Love this casual shoe! It's the perfect camel color. I ordered the size 8 twice because I thought the first pair was a mistake in labeling. Nope, this particular style runs large. I have been a solid size 8 for 30 years. I also ordered a pair of boots from the same brand and the size 8 was just right.
These stretch a bit with wearing so the downsize to 7.5 ended up being just right.
