Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)I wear size 10 and needed size 11 in this boot. I returned it for 4 reasons:
1. I live in a place with subzero winters. My feet got cold in this boot while out in the snow for an hour when it was ten below.
2. The toe box is too narrow and the heel too wide for my foot. I need a large toe box and have normal B width heels
3. The lacing system is impossible. To tighten the laces enough to support my foot inside the boot you need four hands--one pair to pull the laces and the other pair to hold them in place so they don't just slide back to where they were.
4. I need support and there is none.

These are very warm and dry. I live in Minnesota, and they are perfect for the extreme cold and deep snow. Cute but bulky-looking and the laces don't pull as tight as as I'd like.

I needed a good pair of boots so I could walk our dog on the snowy sidewalks during the winter. Cleveland winters stink thanks to lake effect snow. These boots were awesome! Excellent grip hardly ever slipped even on ice. Very warm; did an excellent job of keeping the cold and water/snow out. Loved these things. My only issue with them was whenever I took them off they would always, always pull my socks off with them.

Excellent boot, no seams to rub foot. The liner seems protect from that. I care for animals outdoors on a daily basis, below freezing most mornings. Boot is light, easy to wear and water tight at least to junction between rubber and fabric.

I ordered these boots for my 11 years old daughter. She overgrow the kids sizes, so I looked for something to please a very young women style. She really liked them when they arrived. They were relatively lightweight, they looked nice and warm, but size 9, even for my daughter (she fits 8-8.5 women shoes) with very narrow feet, was much too narrow and overall small. On other hand, she noticed poor ankle and foot support resulting in socks slipping down when walking. For that reason we decided to look for different boots instead of exchanging those for a bigger size. I would like to mention remarkable customer service at Zappos. Thank you!
