Velocity (Little Kid/Big Kid)

I've written a review for the Storm style that my son wears. Because he's getting bigger my only option to try was this style (Velocity). He was wearing a size 5 in the Storm so I ordered a size 6 in this style..also a 6.5 not sure why knowing they run big. The Velocity runs so much bigger than the Storm. I am returning the sizes I purchased and ordering smaller sizes to try. I know if it were the Storm I would have been fine with the 6. My gripe is that as my son gets older their is only one style. I really wish this company would design more styles in large sizes. My son has autism and has been wearing these shoes since he was 3. He's worn the Storm in every color. Love this brand and hope I get to keep ordering it for him.

Purchased these shoes for my son who has autism. It’s easier for him to put on quickly. He is size 7.5-8 in mens shoe size and these shoes fit him perfect. So these shoes do run big about 1- 1.5 sizes bigger. I purchased these in size 6.5 hoping they were actually bigger.

We have gotten the youth Velocity for years and the kids Velocity is exactly the same. My 9 year old son says they feel the same and he loves these sneakers. He's worn them for the last 5 years. Look like they tie but they don't. Takes constant wearing well. The sole by the toe on one shoe of his last pair started to come away but the rest of the shoe did great.

Have been buying this brand for both my daughter and my son for years. Fantastic! Light, great design, fantastic color, no laces. What’s not to like?

These did run very big. At least a whole size larger. The color (silver/green/blue) is very impressive. When we were trying these on I had to order 3 pairs to get the size right. I loved the shoe but we had two styles to choose from and the keen kids hikeport won the contest. The keen seems a bit more durable for my very rough 9 yr old. Skateboards and scooters are a killer on toes of shoes.
