If your AE shoes are wide with do you need to go up in shoe tree size or not?

No, you should not. From my understanding, you don't want too much tension on the shoe trees as it may cause your shoes to stretch. Shoe trees are intended to be used between wears to help absorb the moisture in the shoe and prolong the life of the leather. Hope this helps!

The shoe trees area very tight fit with my narrow shoes; I probably should have gotten a size smaller.With wide shoes I would recommend going toward the large side, because the shoe trees expand while shortening to fill space. A chart that comes with the product helps to get the right size based on shoe size and width, but this chart probably is a too much to publish on the web site.
