These are cute sneakers for casual wear. I’m a 7.5 and went with an 8, but I will probably size down to a 7 next time. My feet are on the wider side, but these fit comfortably. I also like that the company puts an emphasis on fair trade and sustainable practices. The comfort level met my needs, but may not be enough for those who need support.

Zappos lists this as a size 9/5 but ships a 10 because VEJA doesn't carry half sizes. I really like the shoe and the rust color accent but a 10 is a half size too big and fits sloppy. Back it goes. This brand is not for my feet.

Love these! They do seem to run a little big. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9. I ordered 8.5 and they’re a little big in the toe.

They are very cute shoes, but a little too wide and bigger than other shoes I order in this size. I need a 9 - and I didn't see that they offered this size.....

I recommend ordering a size smaller, shoes are so stylish I loved them.

The shoes is beautiful and trendy. It’s really comfortable and light to walk around the city. I love this style and think that it will be easy to clean. This shoe is easy to dress up or down.

These don’t come in half sizes so I sized down and they fit well. There’s no arch support so I had to add inserts. Love the look especially for summer!

I usually wear size 7-7.5, I ordered a 7 instead. It felt likt its 8.5. Overall a Beautiful shoes unfortunately Im returning

Runs a little big, but not enough to size down.

I wear an 8.5 and went with an 8. This fit is correct. I agree with other reviews that that are not initially super comfortable. I like the look enough to invest in wearing them in. Also, these have greater arch support than other similar looking shoes.

I absolutely love these! The tongue is a but longer & stiff (only drawback) - but they are still comfortable and look really nice! I sized down a half of a size and they fit perfect.

Really cute, but took some time to break in and requires insoles to be truly comfortable.

Overall the fit is good just a little bit wide but length is perfect. I have had a hard time finding a pair of VEJAs that fit and are comfortable but this style is great. One of the major reasons is that the tongue is fabric and not leather - in other styles this is the main reason they have to be "broken in" but not with this style shoe.

I’ve been eyeing these kicks for a while and finally splurged and ordered. They fit more like a 7.5 than a 7 but I ended up not minding it. I was concerned about the other reviews that mentioned the tongue of the shoe being too long/uncomfortable. I generally have a lot of issues with tongues of shoes and my instep however it hasn’t happened with these. The leather of the tongue is very soft so even though it does reach my ankle, it hasn’t caused rubbing or discomfort. My only real complaint is how they are laced upon arrival. I don’t care for presentation — I’d rather just have the shoes ready to wear. If you’re a true size 7, I would order a 6.5. My foot is wider (visually similar Fred Flintstone) and I like having the extra wiggle room. They’re a great bright white sneaker for a casual outfit (with jeans or a dress if you can dig it). Big fan!

I have been looking at the Veja shoes for over a year now and finally decided to commit and ordered the V-12 pair. I wanted a casual sneaker that could be dressed up or down and would give me all day support from the office to after work drinks or for a day of traveling. Previously, I've been wearing air force 1s and the new balance 515s but wanted a step up into something with more of a loafer profile. The positives: the leather is so nice, definitely has the polished look I was going for and matches with everything in my closet. The sizing was good, I am an 8.5 in most sneakers and ordered the 39. I have fairly narrow feet, but was able to lace them tightly enough that I felt comfy and secure. The arch support was pretty good. These were also fairly easy to break in (way less painful than Docs!). I used the hack someone in previous reviews mentioned of pushing the tongue to the side for the first several wearings to increase flexibility, and found that very helpful. The negatives: the heel support was not great. I had the shoes for about a week, had worn them to the grocery store and a few other quick excursions to break them in, and then wore them for a whole day (~8 hours) walking around a town center with cobbled streets. By the end, my heels were sore and tired -- I will be ordering some inserts before I wear them for that long again. Overall, I am really happy with my purchase and don't think I'd be able to get the same level of style and versatility in a different shoe, even with the downside of the heel support.
