I’m usually a 7.5, I got a 7 and the length is perfect. The style is adorable...I love everything about the look of these. Comfort wise, the shoe is comfortable, however...the tongue of this shoe is too long and too stiff. The first time I wore them I had horrible rub marks on the front of my ankle. Not one to give up on something I love...I worked the leather tongue, tried to soften it up. Nope. Finally I had a leather shop cut and shorten it. So much better now!

If you need arch support, not the shoe for you or you will need inserts. If you are half size, order the size down; there will be plenty of room. The shoe is constructed wonderfully and I love the look. Online I thought the color was closer to pink and when I got the shoe it was closer to lavender - still a beautiful shoe. Will take a little breaking in as the tongue is stiff. I wanted something a little more "dressy" than my running shoes and these fit the bill.

Not bad but a little large. Hard to find a true size 4.

Style looked great but felt a lot wider and bigger. I normally wear 8.5 size sneakers but will go down to size 8.

The tongue was too long and rubbed my ankle. I am sad they didn't work out.

I am always between 8.5 to 9. All white was only available in 9, and they were too big. Granted, I only walked around my house in one sneaker, but I didn't notice they were comfortable like many reviewers commented. I don't know if this was a Zappos thing or a Veja thing, but it is the first pair of sneakers I have ever ordered or bought (56) that I had to lace myself. While this may seem like a lazy remark, the lace holes were very tight, so small it hurt to lace; some were almost impossible to push the lace through. Extremely annoying, and I will never repurchase this brand. Thankfully Zappos is fantastic to deal with shipping and returning.

Although I loved the look of this shoe and it felt true to size (I put an orthotic in mine) the leather wasn't comfortable so I sent them back.

Loved these so much. But the comments about the tongue of the shoe are spot on. Design flaw. There needs to be a softer or more padded solution. Hopefully they’ll design that into the next release so I can try again. The rest of the shoe is gorgeous, but not worth the discomfort of how hard the tongue is/how much it rubs. Maybe it would soften over time, but not willing to bet $150 on that and I expect a high quality sneaker to be painless out of the gates.

These run a bit long--almost a half size, and they're quite wide. However, if you manage to find just the right size, you'll need really tough skin to endure these. Breaking in a pair would require undaunted courage.

These are fabulous and gorgeous. However: the tongue is so long that it’s sliced the top of my ankle. I had to cut it myself to make it shorter. Pushing it to the side just didn’t work for me.

I have worked and worked trying to get the tongue to loosen up and quite cutting into the top of my ankle. I still wear them occasionally. But they definitely aren’t suitable for all day wear. If you’re looking for comfort...keep looking.

This is an update on my previous review about this product. When I first received the shoes, I was so excited about the appearance of them. They look amazing and stylish. However, after wearing them a couple of times, I realized how uncomfortable they are. I thought maybe it's because they are new. So I gave them more and more chances. The last time I wore them, I ended up having blisters all over my foot. The shoes are so uncomfortable and they are mot getting any better. They are dry and for this amount of money, I believe it is reasonable to expect the shoes to be comfortable!!!

These are huge. I normally wear a size 7 but fit into a size 6. Both sizes were too loose in the heel, otherwise I would have kept the size 6.

Maybe this pair of shoes needed a break in peroid before it becomes comfortable. However, I didnt expect this from a pair of sneakers, moreso with such a popular brand as Veja. The shoes were not comfy on and worse the tongue of the shoe was too long. It hit the front of my ankle which surprisingly caused a wound to develop. I will return it. Am so disappointed because I was wyeing on this pair for a ling time.

This show is so cute and the perfect white sneaker. However, they are INSANELY uncomfortable. The tongue is really stiff and really long and digs into your ankle. I had returned twice, but they are super cute.

They are cute and fit OK but the tongue is so long it’s uncomfortable. Not sure why it’s so long. They seem well made and are stylish though.

uncomfortable especially the left foot too narrow, the tongue is too long and is like a piece of plastic, the edge hurts if you do not wear socks, not worth your money even though the style is nice

They fit nice in the foot bed but the tongue is too long ane rub against the skin.

Unbearable/unwearable! Not only are they quite wide, they're also incredibly stiff. Even if I had elephantine feet, wearing these would be punishment.

I so want to love these and have tried every style, material but they are horribly uncomfortable and sizing always off.

Very hard to lace and fit was not comfortable

Most uncomfortable sneakers I have ever tried. The tongue is a piece of hard plastic, they are stiff and too tight in the toes. I was really looking forward to them too. What a disappointment.
