Quality Purchase - I ordered these shoes on a Saturday and I got them on a Monday, which was really awesome. The shoes are a little stiff, but I feel like once I break them in they will be really comfortable. They look exactly like the picture, the colors aren't different or anything. I like and would recommend them.

Great shoes - Just a great shoe. I have two pair of the Old Skool Vans; one pair for skating and the other pair for taking my wife on dates. She has complimented the Espresso colored Vans (date shoe) on several occasions. Young kids even comment when I'm skating at the park. My own kids love Vans so they all have them, too. California family living in Texas... what can you do but go to Zappos to get the shoes they love! Thank you Zappos for providing the best customer service and making the cool shoes available to me, my wife and kids!

The greatest - The best shoes ever manufactured. I thought Chucks were the best classics until I got these. Look super awesome and have an amazing life span. I’m on my second pair of black ones with the white stripe. I wore the last ones into the ground. I straight lace them, double-knot under the tongue, and cut off the excess shoestring. After breaking in, they slip on and off with ease. They look stunning with anything I wear, especially narrow-leg jeans, but also shorts, cords, and even slacks! Still, they're pretty original in that not everyone in town has them. Great for a frugal shopper. I’ll buy a third pair when these wear out.

Best shoes ever! I used to buy these in high school back in 86'. I loved them then and still love them. My son who just now has been introduced to them also loves them. As long as they are available we will continue to purchase them. Thanks Zappos.

Vans Old Skool - The Old Skool is a great shoe, but a little stiff in the sole. I think that it can look kind of strange but if you break them in they look better. They are really grippy, good for skating.

Vans's Old Skool™ - My girlfriend told me about this site. I noticed you had free next day shipping. I ordered these on Memorial Day and got them the next day. Very nice. Um, the shoes. Yes, the shoes look very nice with shorts. Low tops. Um, the only problem I’ve had out of them so far is the heel rubs a bit, but they are still not broken in yet so that will pass. Very nice shoe. Cool Skool Shoes!!! This pair of shoe was for my daughter who just loves Vans. It is hard to find a decent selection here locally, so I suggested to her to look at Zappos. She was excited when she saw the huge selection. The price was reasonable and she loves her shoes!

This is the best place for old school Vans - I have looked all over the malls -outlet stores, even the Vans outlet store and can’t find a better deal than Zappos! Good shoe, great price, and they ship right to your door in like 2 days!

5 Star shoes - The shoes I ordered were the second pair of this type of shoe. The other pair is over two years old and still doing great. I work and do everything else with 'em too a good all around shoe to have. I always get the same reaction too: where did you get them shoes? I always say got em at Zappos. They stand out anywhere I go. In short great all around shoes for any ol time summer to winter. Thank you. P.S: More colors to choose from.

AWSOME!!!! I bought the Vans with Flamingos on them and absolutely love them. I get tons of compliments on them. They were a little stiff at first around the ankle but didn’t take long to soften up and are really comfortable. FUN SHOE!!!

Break in - After a short break in period (the back of the shoe was uncomfortable to just above my heel) this shoe proved to become very comfortable as all my Vans.

My Fav's - There's a reason why they've been making these for decades: they rock! Mine have all been super comfortable right out of the box. Never had any problems with "heel rubbing". I live downtown and walk A LOT, and the rest of me wears out before my feet start to hurt. I'm pretty rough on shoes and they have all lasted much longer than I would have expected a canvas shoe to last. I still have the 1st pair I bought 4 years ago and still wear them (though they look pretty ratty). The only downside I see is that after about 3/4 of a year of wear, the canvas starts to rip a bit on the side right where the little toe is. Also, the canvas starts to fade after about the same amount of time. The ones with the colored rubber, as opposed to the yellow gum soles, don't feel as comfortable. I have pairs 4 and 5 on the way right now.

Vans Old Skool - This is a great looking shoe and my daughter loved it. I am so glad that my friend turned me on to Zappos.com; I love it.

Love these shoes - I had these shoes in junior high, decided to buy a pair 15 years later and I STILL love them! Classic style. Super comfortable and cute with jeans or shorts.

Pink Flamingo Vans Old Skool - How many comments can I get in one day? These are a little rough the first wearing (but my feet are majorly screwed up all the time- I'm a dog walker, so walking all the time), but after that, you're home free, super comfortable. My arch did not hurt at all at night and I didn't even put my arch support in these things. I was very surprised and will be getting some other of this style and the high tops without a doubt.

Great shoe - Got this shoe for my boyfriend, love how they look. He's an Old Skool fan, so I already knew they would fit well (went down 1/2 size from his normal shoe size). Highly recommend them!

Great Shoe! My daughter loves this sneaker. She is a very hard fit so when she found these I was excited! She has a few pairs in different colors.

Buy these if you like concerts - These shoes can take a beating. I've worn them to 4 concerts, and they are still holding up, many concerts still in them. Now they look even better.

My review of the Vans Old Skool - I do like these shoes a lot. The only problem I have is that my left shoe seems to rub on the back of my left heel a bit. Other than that, I love them!! I ordered a pair for myself and one of my co-worker; she really likes hers also!!

Stylish shoe - I wouldn't recommend someone buying this shoe for skating unless it's longboard because it would wear out too fast. This shoe is a stylish classic hardcore shoe. I had ordered size 11 because that's what I wear, but I had to return it and get a 10.5 so the size scale is a little off.

Fun shoe - Nice shoe - works well for females with large feet - did change the laces from white to black - huge improvement.

I love hippos! I ordered the bright blue Vans with the hippos on them. I love hippos, so these shoes are excellent for me. Thank you so much for having such a fun shoe available! Oh, and conveniently enough, they are also super comfortable!
