I love these shoes! I was worried the 10.5 wouldn't fit but they fit great and even have a little extra room. They aren't too narrow or stiff either which is another thing I was worried about. Overall these are the best shoes I've bought in a long time and a very reasonable price as well. A must have for sure!

Great shoe! Definitely a nice quirk from the traditional old skool black & white (which I've owned). Love them and love the fast shipping service. The only downside of course is that they are not the most comfortable shoe in the world and they do need to be broken in a little. But anyone who has worn these or Converse knows the drill. Would recommend.

I just love this brand and these shoes in particular. The black/pewter combo is super sharp and they are so easy to break in. I like that they sort of mold to your foot and are made to be worn unlike so many other shoes out there that are made to be looked at.

Best skate shoe for street skating. These were the best shoes I've ever had. I don't go for those big puffy styles. I like to feel the board. These shoes are responsive and comfortable. I usually wear 10.5 but I bought 10 because my feet won't slide around, and the canvas stretches a bit for a very customized feel. They were a little stiff at first, but nothing a day of skating couldn't fix. definitely buying another pair. Oh, they look sweet too, if looks even matter compared to function.

I have been wearing Vans Old Skool shoes for years now so this is not an unbiased review. I love them, and I'm glad to have a new color. I just wish they would come out with the flame shoes again. They don't have much arch support but I don't need it. Zappos had the best price I could find for this color.

Great pair of sneakers! Great fit and well made. I have no complaints about these Old Skools. Much better quality than the fancy Velocita LX I bought 6 months ago, at half the price.

These shoes run true to size and look great. Great price, too. My teenage son is very happy with them.

These are some great kicks! They serve their purpose well. Even though I wish they were a bit cheaper, I still feel my money was well spent. Kudos to Vans.

Love them - I wore a pair of Vans Rowleys for about 5 years, finally had to buy new, and bought these. They took about 2-3 days to break in the heel and sole, but now I like them even better than my last shoe--they are extremely comfortable and they look cool.

I fell in love with these shoes from the first moment I saw them, and I have to say that Vans hasn't let me down in my expectations. The only issue I have with them is that the bottom isn't as cushioned as the rest of the Old Skool line shoes, so it took a little getting used to having my feet closer to the ground. Also, the design matches any outfit, making them a great everyday shoe, especially for work, and they're cute yet comfortable.

The coolest ever! The peace signs on the sides are way cool. Very comfortable after a few days, like all Vans. These are great for work or going out. Great quality for the price.

Vans Old Skool™- What can I say about these shoes or for Vans for that matter... Hmmm!... Well, let me first point out that these (Vans) are not my 1st, 2nd or even the 10th pair of Vans I've ever owned. I'm 35 and over the last almost 3 decades now I could honestly say that I've probably owned between 2-3 hundred, somewhere in there. Now that may seem like a lot, but you have to understand that there's so many different kinds of Vans that they've made over the years. For example, in my closet right now, I've got at minimum 8-10 pairs of different colored checkered Vans Slip-Ons, and that's just Slip-Ons. We haven't even gotten to talking about the Old Skool Hi's that I have many of as well. You never know when the right set of Vans will match exactly with what you’re wearing and that's not only why I continue to buy them, but because they are perfect in style, comfort and overall appeal. I'm constantly given compliments on my Vans from time to time. I've even found some pairs of Vans not on here that are either discontinued or came out in limited quantities. People love these shoes and you will too... Trust me...

The old BMX days - Amazing shoes. I generally rock higher end sneakers like Common Projects but the quality of these is just great. Used to BMX with these many years ago. They will probably last forever. I do have to add insoles though no, arch support. Great shoe.

Great style of Vans for more support and comfort - If you like Vans, but need something with a little more support and comfort, then this is the style for you. The other more classic tie up Vans are nice, but don't go high enough like these on the top of the foot.

The other Vans Classic - Besides the Slip-On this is the other classic Vans shoe. They take a little bit to break-in, but this has been my favorite skate shoe for years with the simple, understated Vans style.

Can't beat a classic - I was looking to replace a different set of Vans (eventually wore them out) when I came across this blast-from-the-past. They are great shoes from a tactile point-of-view, as you are not so cushioned as to not feel any of the ground you walk on. There is no significant arch support, so take note. These are "old school" shoes, and need to be "broken in" a bit to become supple, but once they do, they are like gum-soled slippers!

Gotta love the Old Skool!!! I bought three pairs of shoes and this is the first pair I've worn non-stop. I just love them!

I bought these shoes for my son. He is very picky. He has wide feet, and these shoes are great. He loves them. He’s 14 and hates everything but these shoes. Will buy these again.

Vans shoes - The shoes are a Christmas present for my son; he puts the vans on his list every year. He is 34 years old. He must like them a lot, they are the only shoes he ever ask for.

Fun and comfy, takes some breaking in - I love fun shoes. I get so many compliments when I wear these. They are great. They are leather and somewhat stiff at first, so I did have to break them in, but now they are really comfortable.
