I have been wearing Ghost Brooks for many years but this pair rubs on the ankle. The area around the ankle is much stiffer material than the shoes I have purchased before. I will be returning them.

My narrow feet are very hard to fit. The narrow is Ghost 17 is good. However, the toe box is the exception. It's so rummy, my feet slide around in it.

I use to love Ghost sneakers. Found them to be very comfortable but now I have a sizing issue with them. Have always been a size 9 but now I find they are too small and the 9 1/2 is too big. Also find that they rub underneath my ankles. I think I need to switch to another manufacturer. Sizing is just off for me.

I’ve worn Brooks ghost for over 10 years and this pair feels narrower and the heel slips! I’ve worn them 6 times. Would love to return them but I threw out the boxes they came in. I’m not happy with them.

I've worn Brooks for years, but the last pair and now this one (that I'm going to return) have what for me is an odd and uncomfortable tongue that either gets folded up (last pair) or is so thick it's actually painful on my ankle. It's too bad because they used to be perfect shoes for me.

This new model is more narrow than previous models and doesn’t work for me. I do like the new back though and they were very comfortable otherwise.

I have bought many pairs of Brooks ghost in a wide fitting over the years, my go to shoe. This model fits totally differently. Very disappointing.

did not like color

One shoe still feels somewhat off.

The edges of the shoe around my ankles was too high so that my ankles were being rubbed by the shoe. Not comfortable.

I'm having a very hard time finding a shoe that feels comfortable this go-around. This one it likely is a medium but my foot slide around in it too much. I also tried a New Balance 880 and did wear these outside so can't return them. They caused a large callous on the right side of my right foot. Also tried on a Nike Pegasus. Going to try an ascics next. I am thankful for Zappos return policy.

I’m shocked that even the wide width of this ghost was too narrow for me! I usually wear medium width shoes and have been wearing the ghost for many years without issue but they missed the mark on this one. My 15s are way more comfortable. The entire top of the shoe felt like it was constricting my foot and they didn’t feel very cushiony. I hope the next iteration is better because I do love brooks!

Returning because it felt very narrow for a regular width shoe. It's too bad because they're super cute and seemed like they had good support. Not my usual experience with Brooks Ghost, sadly.

I will need to return these. They felt too small and narrow for my feet. They are super cute and hopefully I can the next order more correct

They slid off my ankle too much

I have been wearing the Ghost line for several years now. Most recently I have tried the 16's and the 17's and was unsatisfied with both. My favorite pairs come from the 14 and 15 lines. The 17's felt closer to a true 9.5 than the 16's (the 16's were AT LEAST a half size smaller, I put them next to my 14's and they were noticeably shorter front to back by at least a half inch), but the 17's were still slightly smaller front to back, narrower left to right, and narrower top to bottom (the tops of and balls of my feet felt a great deal of pressure that was not there in the 14's and 15's). They also redesigned the heel tab/quarter panel area to be more like the "slip in" variety of shoes and the hard plastic support inside is higher, less flexible, and less cushioned that the 14's and 15's, causing a lot of pressure pain against the back of my heel/achilles area. I also noticed that the 17's were so much narrower that they didn't lace as tight as the 14's and 15's. It looks like my foot is bulging out of the lace/tongue area and I could barely lace the laces. I still have and wear my 14's and 15's and they are nowhere near this tight. In fact, I knew Brook's was "my shoe" because I never felt like they needed "broken in." They were perfect right from the box. But sadly, this release is "not my shoe." I may have to switch to another brand which I have been hesitant to do.

This is painful on the side of the heel immediately out of the box.

I've worn Ghosts for close to a decade and have been able to work with the variations year to year up until last year. The 16 was just too big, too long and I should have returned it. It sounded like this was corrected in the 17, but I found my usually running shoe size 8.5 (street shoes 8) a little large. I had also ordered the Glycerin, which fit better, so I keep those and returned the Ghosts. I may still try them a half size smaller.

I've had many pairs of Brooks Ghost shoes and use them all for daily walks. The bottoms of these wore out so fast! I've had them for a little over two months, and already the forward part of the shoe is completely worn flat and my hips and knees are suffering the consequences. I'll try the next generation, but unless something improves, I'll be on the lookout for new shoes.

Not enough arch support

Wore for two days where I stand/walk most of the day as an Rn and they were not comparable to my Hoka's :(

the shoe was like putting on a brick, totally tight toe to heel and side to side.

These are my 3rd pair of Ghost tennis shoes. I love the Ghost 15! Fit me perfect. These shoes are rubbing blisters on the inside of my heels.
