I've been wearing Ghosts since the 10 came out, and I have never before had so much issue finding the right size. I had to go down a full shoe size from what I was wearing in the 16. These feel great! Very cushy and bouncy. I don't run marathons, so I can't speak to that, but these are great for walking and jogging/running morr casual distances. I'm a supinator with high arches, hypermobility, and a chronic autoinflammatory disease that causes joint pain/swelling. These shoes work great for me!

I've been wearing Brooks forever and always the same size. And super excited to see a new shoe in a narrow width and in a color other than black or white. But these I returned for a half size smaller, they were just too long. Brooks, please offer those of us with narrow feet more color options. Why should the wide ones get all the pretty shoes?

Finally Brooks is back!! This was my go-to brand for years until they changed the fit somehow, and I have not been able to wear the newer styles for years. I gave these a try, and boy am I glad I did! The old Brooks is back - wide, comfy toe box, balanced arch support. Will probably buy another pair!

I've been wearing the Ghost for many years. Sometimes the change works and sometimes not. Unfortunately this change does not work for me. The heel to toe drop change puts more pressure on my heals which is not good for plantar fasciitis. And while cushy it's not distributed in the right places. The collar of the shoe rubs on my ankle. There are less air holes for ventilation. Ended up with heel and arch pain. I'll definitely be returning them. Maybe the next change will be better.

This shoe is very different from the Ghost 16. It has much less cushion, and a higher heel-toe drop. This shoe is not a match for what I look for in a running/walking shoe.

This style of Brooks was a half size too long, so we reordered another pair and they were a great fit.

There is not enough room in the toe box anymore. my previous Ghost shoes ( maybe from 2 seasons ago) had a higher and rosier toe box. When I put my orthotics in these, there is not enough room left. Im sorry that they keep changing the sign of the shoe.

I struggle to find shoes that are narrow and provide support. These shoes do both these things and are super comfortable. I use them for occasional running and wearing day to day.

The fit was close to the Ghost 10 which was just right for me. The toe box is wider than the last few versions & the heel is snug on my narrow heels. I just wish there were more color options in the wide.

These sneakers are perfect. I wear narrows, and unfortunately, very few brands make sneakers/shoes for my narrow heel foot. I wanted something more casual, but of course such a sneaker doesnt exist in 10 N. Most sneakers in narrow are dark colors, meaning there are no options in terms of color. I even emailed other companies , like HOKA, requesting narrows but they all claim there is no demand for such sneakers. This sneaker is white/multicolor and doesnt look like the nursing shoes I used to wear. Not quite the casual sneaker I wanted but they feel and look great, narrow heel and plenty of room for toes to move. Arch support could probably be better but nevertheless, A keeper. Thanks Zappos!

I overall love the feel and comfort of the ghost 17s. It is very difficult to find good narrow trainers, so these shoes are great. Despite the shortcomings I mention below, I still would recommend this trainer for runners with narrow feet. However, there are some things I did not like. The laces that come with the shoe were pretty short that made it difficult to use the heel lock without tightening the laces all the way making the shoe pretty tight on the foot. Then the side of the shoe that comes in towards the ankle a bit due to the use of the heel lock rubbed my skin raw causing it to bleed even through a thin sock.

This is my second pair of Brooks Ghost so that's the best endorsement.

I have size 10 narrow feet. So glad I found Brooks. It’s hard to find Narrow Brooks, so when I found these, I ordered them. Not my favorite color combination, but as I walk 4+ miles/day comfort is more important than colors. This is my first pair of Ghost 17. So far they are comfortable & meeting all my needs.

Narrow toe box. It feels like my toes are being scrunched into a point.

Having worn Brooks Ghost shoes for years - I was disappointed in the fit between the 15 (which I love) and 16. So - I thought I'd try the 17. Alas! Like the 16, it didn't have the amazing fit as previous years. Basically, it felt too large and clunky, and didn't give me the same sense of effortless walking of past Ghosts. I am intending to switch to the Ghost Max as it has received great ratings. Here's hoping!

I’ve been wearing Ghost for a long time. I’m very disappointed in the 17. The heel is so stiff it was a challenge to get on. But they are very stylish so I thought I would keep them in the hopes it might loosen up. After wearing for ten hours today, I had to change shoes. My feet and knees ached. Definitely not as supportive or cushioning as the 14 or 15 model. I wish I could return them. But I did wear them all day so they will be put away for a shoe I only need to wear for an hour or two.

They were very uncomfortable and did not look as nice as the picture. Not the usual Brooks quality, will be returning.

I ordered 9.5WW. They fit perfectly and are very cushiony. After breaking my metatarsal, I need wider shoes than before my injury and these seem like they'll be perfect. My Adrenaline 22s in 9.5WW also fit well-- but reviews of current Adrenalines made me hesitant to try them. ( I had ordered several pairs of those old Adrenaline 22s because they fit great and if you have wide feet, then you know it pays to stock up when you find a winner. Planning to get another pair of this Ghost 17)

These work well with my narrow feet and have good cushioning. I wish Brooks had cuter colors, but this blue is very practical and looks good with jeans. I’m happy.

I work 12 hour shifts where I'm on my feet. My knees and ankles literally stopped hurting. And I constantly get complimented on them. And they actually came in 10.5, which is a hard size for me to find.

I like these shoes better than the previous Brooks Ghost. Much more support and comfort

The fit and arch support are great!

Recommend by my podiatrist for helping with my peroneal tendinitis. The shoe is lightweight and offers good support and stability for my foot.
