Can't really give a good review. Ordered these because I thought they would last a little longer than the chocurua trails. They seemed comfortable but were just too heavy for me, as I said I'm used to the chocurua trails

The only bad thing about it is not a waterproof at all, leather absorbs water and you get wet foots, I work indoor with some steam and water on the floor in a food company, everything on the boots is ok except that

My husband does asphalt for a living which is hard on everything especially boots!! He bought his first pair of "Boondocks" 2yrs ago and he thought he had finally found the boot of a lifetime. He could not sing their praises enough to anyone in his line of work about how amazingly well these boots were but unfortunately that pair finally wore out and we headed right out to purchase another pair. We purchased another pair of the same exact boots that we had purchased the first time only this time we are severely disappointed it's only been a little over 3 months and the soles are already separating. This was one of the things my husband was so impressed by with the first pair of how great the soles stood up to his work environment. The other pair lasted a year & half and the soles were as thick and intact as the day they were bought, the problem with them is that the seem had started to rip out next to the composite toe. We are so disappointed with this pair. You don't mind paying good money for a work boot with great workmanship but this time around has been a great disappointment. We are a working-class family and don't have the ability monetarily to purchase another pair every couple of months at these prices. So sad because he was so impressed that in 20+yrs of paving he had never found a boot as great as the first pair of these that we purchased. Don't know if when we can afford a new pair that we will purchase these again.

Very comfortable boots. Felt great from day one, however it's not perfect. The soles wore out much faster than they have with other boots I've worn in over 20 years in the field. Another complaint I have is that the rivets for the shoe laces are sharp on the inside of the boot, and keep causing my laces to break. Another thing I noticed is the hotter it gets outside, the flimsier/ weaker the boot toe gets. Doesn't take much to smash down on your toes. Just a couple of small changes to this boot would make it perfect!

These boots were the answer to aching feet i was looking for. Extremely comfortable. They were fantastic the first few months from Nov thru march BUT.. on BOTH boots where the instep meets the heel the sole cracked and then the layers on the sole started to separate ALSO I used to be able to stand in 4 inches of water clearing a fountain drain and NOT one drop did my feet get wet BUT NOW the slightest bit of rain, puddle the boot soaks it up and my feet are drenched through and through. I had to buy a boot dryer so I could dry these for the next days work. Timberland , you let me down. HOWEVER, I will buy another pair and give a 2nd chance while I send this pair in to timberland for review for manufacturer defect. I feel they will deny it and say it's my fault and not honor the fault. NO..THESE ARE supposed to LAST at LEAST a year. I didnt get 6 months !!! MY old black timberland pros that are 10 years old lasted much longer and ARE still in use to this day, but they cause my feet to ache.

I absolutely LOVE the anti-fatigue foam layer they put into the sole. It makes walking on concrete feel like walking on clouds. It really does. Timberland needs to incorporate this technology into ALL of their work boots. The rubber sole has an aggressive tread that barely makes a sound when I walk and the protected toe and heel add durability and ensure they will last. My only gripe is the shear width of the boot. I got a regular width pair and they look like clown shoes on me. If they can make this boot in a normal width, I would buy these boots again and again and again

Immediately I noticed how comfortable these boots are. Everyone that has owned them has told me they are really comfortable and they were right. It feels like I'm walking on clouds thanks to the layer of gray foam in the outsole. Timberland should incorporate this in all of their work boots. They seem to be build very well. The leather is thick, the seams are triple and quadruple stitched down towards the bottom of the boot, and the toe and heel are well protected. The tread is aggressive and strong. The ONLY gripe I really have with these boots is the sheer width of them. I got regular like always and I feel like I'm wearing clown shoes. The normal design of the boot is wide I guess. I can't even imagine what the wide sizes look like. Everyone noticed how big my boots looked on me so even as comfortable and tough as these boots are, I don't think I'll be getting them through my work again, hence the 3 stars instead of 4 or 5

This is my third pair of timberland pro boots and they are heads and shoulders more comfortable than any boot I've ever worn. With that said the Achilles heel of this brand seems to be durability. The Titans I had wore out 2 months after I bought them. I ventured out to other brands and while they lasted longer, they definitely were not anywhere as comfortable. I came back to timberland and got the boondocks because of the welted construction and it looked like they were built to withstand what I could dish out. I do a lot of pipeline work in gravel yards and am on my feet 10-16 hours a day 5-7 days a week. After three months these boots are holding up very well except in the comfort department. All the extra cushioning that these boots had at first is gone and they are getting to the point where they need another set of insoles. Other than that they are pretty good boots.

Ive had these boots for 5 months now. I work at a water Authority, so the work i do involves getting wet. These boots kept my feet dry for the first three months, and since than have failed me time and time again.

I'm a cnc operator on my feet for 10+ hours a day. They were really comfortable at first but after about 6 months of use they started running my feet raw. Switched to the Tim's with the met hairs and they are so much better.

For years I have worn the Timberland pit boss ST. I tried these out liking the look of the toe guard and the higher arch. I wore these boots for 3 days and could not do any more. The boots are too wide for a regular fit and the top of the boots pressed too hard into my leg above the ankle causing pain and discomfort. Not a good fit for me. I may good back to the Pit Boss 6 in. and purchase an insole upgrade.

I've had nothing but timberland pro for years. I work in the automotive industry at a dealership. The pair I wanted was out of stock so these looked nice. I didn't last 2 days in them. While the boot is nice and thick, the padding just above your heel is not great. No matter how tight or loose I made them there was no change. I had to return them for a different style.

Bought these boots, super Comfortable and probably one of the best for toe spacing and breathability. Unfortunately I stepped in one puddle (approximately 3" deep) and my foot was completely soaked. The boots were only 3 days in use at this point. Unless I got a bunk pair, I wouldn't recommend buying for a waterproof boot

Had for about two weeks. Lighter than they look. Good tread. Left boot rubs top of foot in an almost unbearable way. Right boot rubs my ankle in an almost unbearable way. I have to wear them loose. Hoping they break in in the next two weeks or I'm returning. Not being picky, they are painful on my feet.

I'm a maintenance guy for a school district so I do a lot of walking, the back of my leg gets so raw from the boot rubbing it's almost unbearable. I've had to switch back to my old thorogoods multiple times. Also I've never wanted to get home so fast to remove these boots because my feet hurt so bad around the ball of my foot. I've only had them for about 3 months so I can't comment on the durability, but the look is very nice I just wish they would address the back of the boot it is so painful.

These boots are comfortable, but they are far from waterproof. Cannot even walk through snow in these without my feet being wet. That does not sound waterproof to me

I've had these boots for about a month now and a few trips out into the snow during work my boots get increasingly wet on the inside in the toe area to the point where it's still wet in the morning so the problem just continues to get worse

I walk on concrete or asphalt a solid 8-10 hours per day. I'll put three to six miles per day on them. These were and are still the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. Why then only two stars? I have had them only 6 months at the most and the heel and soles have worn out. I can not pay the price these boots bring and have them wear out that quickly.

I bought these boots 6 months ago, I work at water and grease recycling plant, very wet job! I work 6 days a week anywhere from 10-16 hours day, my watch says I average 12 miles a day and these boots were amazing water proof, nice feel, and very comfortable! I liked them so much I recommended them to all my guys. The unfortunate part is they DONT LAST! the leather rip where the boot meet the sole, 3-4 in tear! Now everything enters my boot! Usually a pair of boots last a year or two. Its sad because these boots are great if your on your feet alot, just dont get them wet!
