I ended up choosing another boot, but wanted to say that it was roomy in the toe box and felt great right out of the box.It has the quality you expect from a Timberland boot. I am over 300 lbs. and I was just a little leary of the sole/heel that is hollow but reinforced. I thought I might have trouble with that over time. I ended up with a Wolverine Hellcat. Both are great boots.

Great comfortable boot. My issue was the left foot had a defective stool toe that was caved in.

Working in underground utilities as a pipe layer is tough on your boots and your body. I usually get around 7-11 months out of one pair of work boots. I've already had these for over a year and they still feel like they can hold up for at least another year. The break in period was a little longer than I'm used too but they're comfortable now even after a 17 hrs shift in the rain doing a water tie in. The only complaint I have is having a durable boot like this that doesn't come in a wedge sole. I've tried Die Hards, Red Wings, Ariats, Danners, and Wolverines and I'll definitely be getting another pair of these.

After six months of use, these boots have held up to everything I've thrown at them without any real damage. They're reasonably comfortable for work boots, and the insulation does a good job keeping my feet at a fairly comfortable temperature. My two biggest complaints are the factory soles and the break-in period. I definitely would recommend nice insoles to provide a little more comfort. It took me about 5 or 6 weeks of consistent wear to get them broken in properly. With that being said, I've spoken to coworkers who have had these boots last them 3+ years, so a long break-in period seems like a small price to pay should they hold up that long.

They are very comfortable so far so far. I do various jobs around the warehouse but spend the majority of shift walking around and this boots hold up to the test! I just wish I'd gone up a full size instead of half a size .

They were purchased as a graduation gift for my boyfriend as he was starting a new electrical job and he loved them! Claims he usually starts fatiguing by midday with back aches and foot pain but not with these. He didn't feel as fatigued nor as tired. These are definitely worth every penny!

Great work boot these are my second pair, make sure after about every month or so you clean and condition the leather to make the boots last longer and stay in good shape.

Initial impressions are the boot is very comfy, well padded, good snug fit, probably going to break in well. The boot is HEAVY, though. If you do a lot of standing at your job, I expect these boots will do very well. If you're moving around, you're going to feel the weight at the end of the day.

The main thing I was looking for in a pair of work boots was immediate comfort since my last pair of boots killed my feet & took way to long to break in. These boots feel comfortable & well padded right from the start which is key for me since I wear these boots for 12 hours a day during the week.

I'm a glazier and wear these boots 6 days a week for around 9-11 hours a day. Very comfortable and durable... Only con are that the soles wear off to quickly. 4 months in and I'm into foam.... just very disappointed

I've only worn these a couple times so far but first and foremost they feel really comfortable. There's a lot of paIdding under the foot. I mostly work on grass or gravel surfaces, so I don't know how they would be on a hard surface but they've felt downright cushy where I've worn them. I also like the way you can use either an eyelet or a hook on the top two lacing spots. To me, these seem to run a bit large. I usually wear either 10 1/2 or 11 and the elevens were huge on me. I ended up keeping the 10 1/2's but I almost think I could have tried the 10's. They do give on a bit of a Frankenstein look and they aren't light, but I think the design is very functional. Durability? we'll see!

Everyday use. But they don't stop water at least the pair I got. I tested them in a couple inches of water and seems through the stitching/bottom soles water gets in and makes them wet. Also leather where toes bend look like they cracking already after a month use.

They are great boots, fit is very good.
I work in mechanical plumbing and deal with damp environments at work.
They do not stop water from getting in, in damp environments. Other wise great boots and water proof in the snow and rain.
Have yet to find a boot that stops water from getting in, in a damp environment.
