We took a trip to hawaii that involved hiking in the woods, walking the beach, snorkeling, beach runs and this shoe did it all. Great grip on a variety of surfaces.

First pair of Xero shoes (already have a pair of DIY sandals which are great) have not disappointed. Fit true to size, lightweight. Haven't tested out how good they do in water yet, but very breathable feel. Would recommend.

Best shoe I've ever bought for kayaking or climbing cliffs that are moss covered.

The xero water shoes are the best ever. They drain instantly, are really comfortable and decent for walking. They are perfect for SUP use in Prince William Sound where the water is cold abd the shore can be gnarly.

Very comfortable to start. The shoes provides plenty of ventilation and quick drying. Great traction in and out of the water. I live in the high desert of Colorado from paddle boarding to canyon hiking they work great.

I love these, they are light on your feet, and the sole is tough enough to walk comfortably on the semi sharp rocks on the river bank. I'm in and out of my canoe a lot and my Five Fingers hold on to a lot of water... until you hop in the boat. With the Aqua X Sport I don't notice any water build-up in the bottom of the boat, they just don't hold water. Don't have any negatives so far.

Started ocean swims in December and wear these everyday.
Super lightweight and comfortable !!!
Have to walk over lots of rocks, big and small, sharp and barnacled.
No issues whatsoever.

These are nicely done. The fit is right and the comfort level all day is great. Not yet used them in water but have been wearing them instead of a sandal day to day. BTW they make a fantastic driving shoe.

these are the best lightweight shoes for step up aerobics and everyday wear. Loved them so much one pair for exercise and the other for work. They are so lightweight and comfortable even better than my HFS's

Beyond enjoyable to wear, fits true to size, the mesh is very subtle but allows proper draining of water.

I actually think these are my favorite. Mainly because of the upper fit. Very flexible material that moves with your foot. The mesh was designed very well, and they breathe like crazy.

Xero's Aqua X Sport are not just for water. Because they are extremely light weight but with a grippy sole, they work well for lounging around home, while driving or riding, and even for short walks. For longer walking, but short of off the road hiking, I like the Xero Day-Hikers.

I love these shoes so far. I plan to take them backpacking as a camp shoe and or stream crossings. I only have about 6 different pair of Xero shoes, so maybe this is a problem, naahh

Despite water still being quite chilly in April, I was excited to put these cool looking blue shoes to the test. I went on a short hike that involved crossing a creek multiple times and scrambling up a rocky waterfall.
These shoes drain and dry really super fast, which is a quality I've struggled to find in water shoes.
They also go on and off really easy, even when wet. Another hard to find quality.
They keep most sediment out, which really beats the Xero Colorado. One can still get real fine and and stuff inside, but no longer do I have to deal with gravel chunks digging into my foot.
My one complaint is that the tread pattern, while good on most surfaces, is not well suited to wet rocks. Which led to me slipping halfway into the waterfall and getting an unintentional soak.
However, poor traction in these settings is the case with most shoes, and even totally barefoot fails on wet rocks. So if my foot is going to slip, there's no better shoe than the Aqua-X, which is heavy enough to protect from getting my toes smashed, but light enough that I can forget I'm wearing anything.
And did I mention I love the cool blue color?

I've not gone very far in these so far but I've worn them around the house without socks a couple days to see how they'll do going farther. 6 miles so far and mostly roads, and I'm very happy with them. I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll do in the trail settings. We have lots of rocks and sand and not much else but I had hoped to test them at the lake last Sunday. Wound up in the medical tent with a saline drip instead, so we'll have to try again soon. Really like the lacing, fit is very good and comfortable, the lugs haven't been an issue in the time I've worn them. Like all Xero shoes, I expect I'll be back for more, but it'll be a while if they last as well as my HFS.

My wife and I both bought these for kayaking. We often get in and out of the kayaks to cleanup along the shore which are often muddy and rocky. They worked great.
