This is the second pair of Prio shoes I received after the first were replaced for falling apart. And sure enough within 6 to 8 weeks they were falling apart too! And now there is a hole in the sole. I wear these for road running and around as my primary shoe. I will be looking elsewhere to replace them.

It's hard to rate this shoe. I'm in my 60s and have a lot of foot pain, so I've been wearing shoes with some cushioning and a lot of arch support. I like the idea of minimalist shoes and how they encourage the natural motions of your feet. I figured it would take some time to get used to wearing them, but after trying them on, I didn't even think I'd be able to walk a quarter mile in them. There's very little padding in the footbed/insole so the pain I usually experience in ball of my foot was not reduced at all while wearing the Xero Prio. I decided not to fight that battle so I returned the shoes. I think people who are older and have chronic foot pain might not be good candidates for minimalist shoes. I could be wrong about that.

Hi,
Xero shoes are a trap. I like the zero rise and feel of the shoes. I ordered size 12 and the toe box is to narrow. I wore them thinking they were ok, can't return them now. Then I bought a 13 and the toe box is too small in them as well. These I returned. So, Xero shoes is a trap in that even in the sized I typically ware they just don't have the width covered. I don't have this issue with other brands.
Thanks,
Brian
