I think that I had worn them incorrectly and messed myself up.. I had worn the prios on some cold days with thick wool socks. Then wore them tied incorrectly running up down a bunch of stairs (work for a moving company) I ended up hurting my heel and had to give the shoes a break.. I might try them again but might just reserve wearing them for off days/ actual weight training days when I can actively focus on proper symetrical load balance..

Good shoe, I wish I had gone with the lighter, even more minimal shoe

I got the men's Prio, but I have narrow feet. I think I should have tried the woman's Prio, but frankly, the color options were all a bit too bright. The shoe itself is great though, I like the quality and style.

The basic Xero philosophy remains prevalent with the Prio. These, like other Xeros, have spoiled me with regard to so-called comfortable shoes. I have just two minor quibbles with these though and the first is that the tongue is too short, IMO. The tongue of the shoe ends at about the same spot as the upper holes for the laces. Sometimes the tongue slips below the knot making for an uncomfortable uncomfortable shoe. The Prio, like my other Xeros, has round laces. Ive found those laces impossible to stay tight for very long and double-knotting is required. With these minor issues in mind, buy Xeros. Youll be spoiled like I am and your feet will thank you

I really love how the Prio feels. While the design of them isn't terrible, I feel like it could improve. They're wonderfully functional and comfortable, but I wish they were a little more stylish. Maybe with welded supports like on the HFS with a more earthy color scheme and slightly less prominent branding (while I'm glad to wear Xero, the word is unnecessary... maybe just the symbol would be sufficient).

I've loved these shoes so far. I actually use them primarily as climbing "approach" shoes. Approach shoes usually have some sticky climbing rubber on them and are often bulkier (and have large, padded heels ,etc). I perform more minimal shoes and these seemed to be the best I could find. I think they look solid and have no heel drop. The rubber isn't super sticky for scrambling over rocks , but it works for me. Ill probably beat up the toes a bit since I use them for scrambling and approach shoes for rock climbing... But that's not their intended purpose... So until someone makes more minimal approach /hiking shoes... Ill be using my xeros!

Ordered mine in my usual running shoe size and found that this shoe sizing runs a little large length wise. Nonetheless, it is fine as the rest of the shoe fits well. The quality of the laces could be improved - they get wound up very easily and are difficult to unwind - more of an aesthetic issue ;-)

Bought half size larger, but still not enough room in toe box for my gorilla feet.

I’m 11.5-12 usually. Got 12 and still half size small. Returned them.

I wear a 4e width shoe. These shoes are comfortable as long as the strings are loosely tied. Unfortunately, the strings are way too short for loosely tying. Going to return for this reason. There's just something about having to buy new strings for a brand new pair of shoes.

These shoes reminded me of my water shoes for tubing. Hardly any sole padding. Probably would be great for young people.

Ordered for my husband. He wears 11.5 or 12 and the 12 is this shoe was considerably too long. His feet are normal width with a high arch and the shoes did not have enough volume for his foot, so we returned and did not try a smaller size. I've tried the Prio before for myself: I have a low volume foot and the prio is too high volume for me so I was a bit surprised at how poorly it fit my husband's feet. It's a good looking well made shoe, but evidently not for everyone.

I am normally a 10.5 or 11. I read that Xeros run small, so I ordered an 11 of the Prio. They were definitely too LARGE. I didn’t love the style either, so I’m trying a different Xero style in 10.5.

The overall shoe fit well in in terms of size. However, the left shoe was not well stitched on the inside. All the parts that come together to hold the laces were exposed and rubbed uncomfortably. The right shoe was fine - so it looks like one of the pair wasn't finished properly. Exchanging and hoping that I get a well stitched pair.

Tried two pairs of these. After a few months the first pair had a sole separate, also after a few months the second pair had tongue stitching fail. These shoes are comfortable and fit my feet very well. It's a shame they only last a few months. I'll be looking for something else.

My goal was to find a replacement shoe for training and these did not fit the bill. They are great shoes for day-to-day wear. The toe box is very roomy but too roomy for my preference in lifting/crossfit/HIIT. They look nice and the laces were great, just too padded and bulky for athletics. I hope Xero makes a shoe similar to Merrell's bodyglove or INOV-8's bare-XF. These are the type of shoe better suited to certain sports (any day to day use).
I'd also recommend:
INOV-8, Merrell

Got my usual Size 8 and it's huge on me. I like the wide toe box, but there is very little cushioning and zero arch support.

Material is good, the style is wierd. The fit had good toe box size but the shoe still felt narrow. Overall, it's a good shoe to explore minimalist shoe, but it wasn't for me.

This was my first Xero shoes purchase. I wanted to try a different minimalist shoe than I currently own (Merrels), but while these shoes are minimalist in the sole, they look like giant loafs, and are not sleek and slender like other minimalist shoes I’ve tried.

I normally wear a 10 wide. I had to go up to a 10.5 and the length felt fine, but it wasn't wide enough for me - there just wasn't enough room for my outer toe and ball of my foot. Shoe construction quality seemed to be fine, and like how they look. I'm a little disappointed since they're advertised as wide shoes, but I think they're wide for people with normal width feet.

They're comfortable, for sure. However, they're falling apart quite early. They're probably my least worn shoes. I think it may be because the material has become wetted several times. I have no issues with my other shoes, and I have 4 pairs of shoes and one pair of sandals from Xero. I love them, just not these.
