Even tho I selected moderate width I felt this was too wide for my foot and even had a gap in the material. I love the style and the comfort but they are just too wide for me

I don’t know what it is about Hokas but the sizing is not consistent with each iteration. I previously was wearing a women’s 8.5 Wide, but when I ordered it this year, it was too small, so I sized up to 9 Wide . It fits and feels really bouncy with each step, but I’m starting to notice the Wide size (D) is not wide enough for my feet. The widest part of my foot is 4” inches across, and the D width only accommodates up to 3.8” inches. I wish I had gotten a size 9 extra wide EE, but I can’t return these now since I already wore them around the block and threw away the insoles they came with. (I put my own orthotics in them). I’m hoping they will stretch out with daily use . I plan to get the EE width next time when they wear down.

I have flat feet & these have fantastic arch support, like bouncing off a cloud. The cushioning really does bring a spring to your step. This Clifton 10 is stable, no ankle roll, roomy but not too roomy, great arch support, & perfect for walking /standing or for someone more athletic. I'm over 50 so just needed the support, cushioning for my arches, not running a marathon. I was concerned about the high back bothering the back of my heel where it might cause a blister but it feels great & hasn't caused any blisters or rubbing. I was also concerned that the thickness of the bottom of the shoes might cause me to propel too forward but I'm very stable with it. I like when a pair has a roomier width without being a wide, this is exactly like that. I wear a 9 medium & this is a roomy medium. Another reviewer mentioned the length as an issue, this was not a problem at all, they're true to size in every way. These are the BEST sneakers I've ever bought in my lifetime. Would I go up to a higher priced model, probably not as this meets all my needs. Will absolutely buy Hoka's in the future as long as they offer sneakers no higher than $155.

These are, by far, the worst shoes I have ever worn for walking. While they are very cushy and comfy to start, by the time I reached the end of my driveway the first time I wore them, I knew they were trouble. I had so much knee and ankle pain after that first walk that I put in some arch supports and wore a knee brace on my second walk. That helped my knee, but not my ankle. Third walk, I could tell I had some severe over pronation going on and that’s why I had so much ankle pain. My next step will be to head over to The Good Feet Store to try some real arch supports as these were too expensive to just throw away. I would return these, but unfortunately, as soon as I stepped out the door for that first walk, they were consider “worn” and “used” and thus ineligible for return. How else would you know if a shoe is going to work out if you don’t try them for their intended use? My advise? Ignore the Hoka hype and something else.

The Clifton 10 is great. The arch support is more pronounced. The sizing is more fitted and streamlined. Love the feel of the shoe but the Jadet color is not a Jade. It is a simple light green. Need the Jade, ashy green color.

I have a bone spur on the top of my big toe joint and bunions on both feet. Ordered these in Wide and they were incredibly comfortable right out of the box! The shoes are also very lightweight. Love the color scheme too but am now ordering another pair in a different color because you can't have too many super comfortable shoes!

Wonderful sneakers. First time buyer of Hoka and I am hooked. Feels like walking on a cloud and gives spring in my step.

My Hoka Clifton 9's fit me well, but the toe box in the Clifton 10 is not as tall. That coupled with the fact that the Clifton 9 had mesh near the toe box (where the Clifton 10 is a stiffer fabric) means my nail of my big toe rubs against the top of the shoe. Returning.

I purchased these as a gift for my 74 year old mother who has diabetic neuropathy in her feet. These are her second pair of Hoka Clifton’s and the only shoes that allow her to resume her active lifestyle without pain. Awesome shoes!

This is a nice comfy, cushiony sneaker. I have the blue which is very nice. I should have listened to other reviewers, but needed to return the first pair and order a new one a half size larger than prior pairs.

Bought my regular size 7.5 wide. My toes were hitting the front of the shoe and didn't feel like they were in a wide shoe at all. I have the Bondi SR in a 7 wide and they almost feel too big and I love them. I was kind of expecting the same. I'm exchanging these for the regular Bondi 9, not optimistic after reading those reviews. Sigh.

Much, much lighter and just as comfortable as my heavier Hoka Bondis. I prefer these by a long shot.

My only complaint would be that I wish it had a tiny bit more arch support and padding in the metatarsal area so when I go on tip toes, there is notable support. I’m not a ballet dancer or anything, but I like that shoe amenity and have rarely found it except in older Brooks Glycerin models. The Clifton 10 is very cushions and your heels are seriously well cared for- heel to toe movements are very comfortable in these so walking is a very enjoyable process in them. I like that HOKA listened to us and offered more color selection instead of previous sad beige neutral colors of earlier years. These are great shoes. I kept them and no exchange or returning needed.

If not for the built in arch support, I would not have returned the shoes. The arch was too high for my flat feet. They actually hurt my feet by being too high through the arch area so I was not going to be able to wear them comfortably.

I ended up sizing up from my usual 7.5 to an 8. Some Hoka’s run narrow, but these felt true to width. They are a bit shallow, so in my normal size my toes were getting squeezed from the top. In the correct size they are comfortable but could use a bit more arch support. The padding at the back collar isn’t my favorite. I much prefer a loop, it’s more comfortable. The Clifton 10 continues the Hoka trend of comfort tech with not terribly durable materials. My original Hoka’s years ago, were the Bondi 7’s and they are still going strong! Since then all the other Hoka’s I’ve purchased don’t last as long as even more budget friendly sneakers. Both the soles and fabric uppers break down quickly. You can’t beat the comfort though.

The Clifton 8 was my first pair of Hoka sneakers. My MD suggested them due to a terrible case of Plantar Fasciitis in one foot. I'm a long distance walker and these sneakers helped tremendously. Bought 4 pairs and rotated them. I suggest this sneaker to anyone who is on their feet all day, working or walking for pleasure. Just bought the Hoka Clifton 10 and it fits and feels good. Wearing the Clifton 10 a few

This Clifton 10 is very different than the Clifton 9. The heel is higher, pushing the foot forward as you walk so that the toes hit the front of the shoe. Good cushioning, but after years of wearing the Clifton 9, the Clifton 10 doesn’t work for me.

I have a number of Hoka Cliftons in 9.5 D that fit me perfectly. This pair does not have the same space in the toe ox that I have come to expect. Unfortunately I am returning them.

Finally a Hoka for small feet that doesn't feel and look like clown shoes. (condolences to all you folks complaining about the sleeker styling) Cushioning is great. My high arches needed an arch cookie, but that was easily added. Will order more colors. Hey Hoka.....more jewel-tone colors please :-)
