I normally wear women’s size 11, but had to go up to a 12 in these. Very cushiony, which my poor feet need. Not much arch support, so I added some Walk-Hero insoles and now they’re perfect. I expect to log many comfortable miles in these!

The shoe felt too short for me. Some people online said they had to go the next size up because Hoka’s toe box area runs narrow. So I will be ordering the size 9.

Insole creeps up blistering sides of feet

Oh good grief! These are fantastic!!! I’m a retired RN, 73 years old, have degenerative arthritis, have had one total knee and two lumbar surgeries…. Wish I’d found these YEARS AGO!!! I’ve spent a fortune on shoes over the past 40 years (Ryka, Brooks, g-defy, on cloud, etc)… nothing helped… just persevered. I bought a pair of these because I ran into another elderly woman who saw me looking at multiple athletic shoes … she was over the moon impressed with these! I both a pair, wore them for 5 hours while I forced myself to walk, and WOW! I woke up the following morning without back or knee pain!!!!

Hoka has completely destroyed the Clifton from it's original design. This style is unwearable and has become their "fashion" shoe. I don't think anyone who needs an orthotic shoe or good support and mechanics could get by with the clifton.

reliable comfort and support from Hoka. Black and black sole is a flexible choice.

I have the Clifton 9s and Hoka made some extreme adjustments to the Clifton 10s. They felt narrower/tighter but I don't know if they are. Certainly more cushion/higher shoe, so much so it's too much. Returning and trying to find a Clifton 9.

I just ordered the wrong size.

I am a 73 year old woman (retired nurse) with degenerative arthritis… 2 back surgeries and one total knee replacement. I’ve bought g-defy shoes, which are pretty good (once you get used to them), and on cloud shoes, which aren’t nearly as great for me as other nurses have said. These Clifton hokas feel fantastic! I’m truly surprised! The real test will be how I feel in the mornings after I’ve worn them for several days! I definitely notice throughout the day that my feet, knees, and back feel much better than I thought possible…I’ve walked for 6 hours today without pain! Remarkable for me!!!!

I liked the color and the fit feels good. I need a slightly wider toe box bc of a bunion on my left foot. The width is good and doesn’t rub. This is my second pair of the Clifton style.
