I really wanted to love this shoe, except I have very wide feet and some arthritis in my toes. These were 2E when I could have used 4E. I stand for about 5 hours every day and wanted something to support my feet, legs and back. The fabric was great, but they were too short and not wide enough.

There is a big difference in "feel" between the Bondi 8 and Bondi 9- seemed like the thicker padding or bottom layer was too much .

I’m a size 5, and B width in most every shoe. I know from experience that Hokas run narrow, so I ordered Bondis in wide width (D). But! They feel both too tight and too small—even with thin socks. (Unlike my previous Cliftons which were perfect at 5/D.). I’m exchanging for a half size larger…wish me luck!

The heel of the shoe does not hit squarely on the ground. The inside on the heel is higher than the outside, causing the foot to rock back and to the outside. Every step. This has a direct impact on gait and hips. I loved the shoe otherwise, and am sorry to not be able to wear it. Back it goes...

I’ve had numerous pairs of the Bondi 8’s and was expecting the same level of comfort and fit with the Bondi 9. Unfortunately they fit smaller. I do not have wide feet and have never need wide shoes, but these fit so strangely that I think the only way I could ever purchase the Bondi 9 again (which I won’t) would be to go up a half size and purchase a wide pair. My feet feel SO restricted in these shoes. Also…why are the shoe laces so incredibly short?!? I unfortunately got them dirty while trying them out and can’t return them.

I have been wearing Bondi since 2016. I wanted to like the Bondi 9. I even ordered them twice thinking maybe it was a specific pair of shoes. These are not comfortable. They are narrow and there is something about the height and balance that for me feels unstable. So I am returning and am hopeful that the Bondi 10 will be better as these are my favorite shoes. I loved, loved, loved the Bondi 8 previous model - the world's most perfect shoe with a large toe box and amazing cushioning. I have no idea why Hoka altered perfection. The Bondi 9 is not the same at all; it is a shorter shoe in length and a narrower toe box (and in my opinion, not as good color options- but the shoe doesn't even fit so that's the main issue). I am so sad and as I've been trying other options in the Hoka line, none are working out. The Hoka Bondi 8 was my favorite shoe ever and I'm just really bummed. I sincerely wish they would bring it back!

Wearing them just a short time made my back and legs hurt! The Bondi 8 is the only shoe I've found that I can wear all day without discomfort or pain in my legs and back.

What a disappointment! As a Bondi wearer for many many years, changes have been made to the Bondi 9. Obvious change is no loop. But it feels as tho the lateral heal/arch support is not the same. I will search for Bondi 8 until they run out and search for a new shoe to wear

This did NOT feel wide AT ALL. I kept these shoes because initially, they felt better than my old shoes. I have been wearing them for a week now and my feet are killing me. My pinkie toes are feeling squished all the time, even when I wear thin socks. I probably can't return them because I've worn them too much already. It's totally bizarre how the Bondi SR 7W feels so good and this Bondi 9 7.5W just does NOT! I'm saving up for a new pair of shoes and these will make someone else very happy, I hope!

Feels tight and doesn't help my heel pain. So disappointed. Even though I exchanged for half size larger, still feels somewhat tight. my heel slides side to side even with the wide instead of the 2E.

IMO these run small.

seemed just as narrow in the toe box as the regular width. had to return both, regular and wide width. I used to love bondi 7, then the bondi 9's have been redesigned and have narrowed the toe box and can not wear. Real disappointed because I loved the cushy feeling the bondi 7 had, and nice wide toe box, but not anymore.I wish they would bring back the bondi 7's.

No more Hokas for me. Changed the toe box so now they don’t fit. Toe box is narrower and lower. Had to return and move onto another brand

I was so disappointed with this shoe! Why did they change it? I love the Bondi 8, however the Bondi 9 is completely different. My toes and feet are sore after wearing them. I think it's because they cause me to walk differently, a very extreme rolling motion that places a lot of pressure on my toes and forefoot. An example of how changing something doesn't always make it better. I'm now stuck with a very expensive pair of shoes that I can't wear.

Hola changed its manufacturing. I have these in the same make and model and these are a huge downgrade. They rubbed my toes until they had calluses. They aren’t as deep as other Bondis and they are just generally stiffer shallower and horrid. Shame on Hoka for cheapening their process.

I purchased this shoe for my 21 year old Granddaughter who has worn the same style and size for several years. Much to her (and my) disappointment the shoe does not fit as two purchases in the past several years. The footbed is much more narrow than previous HOKA's of this same style and size. Upon discussing this with several other people who wear this shoe, they too have experienced the same scenerio with HOKA's this year. Also heard the same thing from a sales clerk in a Sports Store where my Granddaughter went to try on HOKA's to see if it was just the shoe itself-change in the cut. She is very disappointed and trying still to find a HOKA that fits like the comfort of the older BONDI 9. She is not a runner but walks back and forth across campus several times a day. She has to have a comfortable shoe! She wore the shoe on and off inside her apartment for several days trying to figure out what the problem was but it just will not work. I am returning it and hope that you will be able to shed some light on the problem.

I think the right shoe is defective. There is some stitching above the tongue that rubs the top of my foot. Does not do that on the left

I have been buying HOKA’s since 2016. This is the last pair I will ever buy. I walked my morning 3 mile walk in my new HOKA’s. My feet are killing me. No cushioning under toes even though the soles are like 3 inches thick (think orthopedic). I am scared to run my 5 mile run in them. I should have adhered to the reviews. I had to buy a size 12 HOKA. I still wear a size 11 in shoes, I used to buy size 11’s in HOKA’s but not anymore. My old, size 11, HOKA’s still fit, so what is up with the sizing? The comfort is gone. These certainly didn’t feel like I was walking on marshmallows by any means. Back to ASIC’s. BYE BYE HOKA’s! NOT WORTH $175.00!

The shoes arrived used and filthy.

I've worn Hoka Bondi shoes for several years. This pair has a narrower toe box and is incredibly uncomfortable. Unfortunately I waited too long to try them and can't return them.

Too stiff and hurt my hip and knee

I dislike this shoe. The fit is great, but the cushioning is dangerously unstable when running.

This Bondi 9 hurt my heal and side of my foot! It’s tighter and doesn’t feel like the Bondi 8 at all. I’ve been a Hoka wearer for many years! This is disappointing
